Jouthren frowned... well, it was more of a pout, but he didn't like that Hors was going through so much trouble for him. He sighed, however, when he realized that he really didn't have a choice. When the boy's owner had said that his brother had arrived, Jouthren gave him a curious look. "Which one is that? The mated one? Or the other one?" he asked... He's wasn't very good at remembering names, it seemed.

Hors laughed and went over to the door with the pad of paper. "The other one, though don't call him the 'other brother' to his face. I mean, talk about a blow to one's pride!" He pulled open the door and smiled at the man on the other side.
Shor stood against the frame of the door with his arms casually crossed. "Good evening, Hors," he said smiling before plucking the list from his brother's hand. "Well, I'll go buy this stuff before coming right back." He leaned over and peered over the black haired teen's shoulder to look at Jouthren. "Nice to meet you, Jouthren. I hope we'll be able to talk plenty later."
Hors shut the door as the purple haired youth turned to walk away. "So...That was my brother, Shor."

Jouthren watched curiously as the darker haired man peeked over his brother's shoulder. The Zercan smiled nervously, giving the stranger a weak wave. He felt such a strong pull towards the man, though. He was a bit put off that he would leave so soon after meeting him... especially since Jouthren felt so.... strongly attatched.
The Zercan frowned down at his knees, deep in thought. His chest was starting to hurt slightly. He pouted, trying to figure out why all this was happening. Hesitantly, Jouthren glanced up to Hors, giving the man a worried look. "I... When uhm.... but.... ahhh......," he mumbled, trying to piece some words together... it wasn't working out all that well.

Hors chuckled. "Yeah. That was my brother, I know," the youth said, smiling. "He's something else. Very...I'm not sure what he is exactly, but whatever he is, he's good at it." The black haired boy, not really noticing how Jouthren was affected. "So, what do you want to do now?"

Jouthren looked down at the floor with a heavy sigh, dropping his hand from his chest and letting his rest limply on his lap. "I... It's up to you to choose. I'm here for you, remember?" he stated, but some how, now, that seemed wrong.

Hors sighed and went over to sit by Jouthren. "Hey," he said, nudging him slightly. "I don't want to hear you talk like that. You may be my mistress, but you're still your own person. Did I or Shor offend you or something just now?" The youth furrowed his eyebrows and tried to think about what they may have said.

Jouthren frowned thoughtfully, still caught up in his strange feelings. 'Why do I feel like this? I.. I only just saw the guy for a few seconds.... maybe he's my...? No! He isn't my anything! I've seen what mates do to people! They make everyone else lonely! Completely disregarding everyone elses feelings just so they can be chained down to one person for the rest of their lives! Who would actually want that anyway?!' he thought, angry with himself.
He jerked back into the present and gave Hors a curious look. "Huh?... Wha... No! No! You didn't do anything... It's just... that's how it's always been," he explained.

Hors shrugged. "I suppose that's how it's always been, but I don't want it to be that way here. We're friends, not really lovers or anything like that," he said, smiling slightly. "So pick. What do you want to do? What did you do when your past masters just let you have free time? They did let you have free time...right?"

Jouthren shrugged. "Markul pretty much let me do whatever I wanted unless he was horny," he stated. "I really didn't do all that much. I cooked and I read. Sometimes... I went for walks... or I like to be outside... but only sometimes, really. Ah..... I... draw... I suppose, when I have the inspiration to do so," he rambled, speaking as he thought. He glanced back to Hors and shrugged again. "I'm really not all that picky, so why don't you just pick or something?"

Hors sighed and rolled his eyes, chuckling. "Fine," he said. "Um...I suppose you can just read or so. I don't know what else to tell you and you won't have anything to eat or cook until Shor comes back. Man, that guy likes to take his time sometimes."

Jouthren shrugged, smiling. "Well... what books do you have?" he asked, looking up at Hors with a curious look.

"I don't know...I read a lot. Here," Hors said, leaning over to pull a book off the bottom shelf. "What about this one?" He handed it over to the youth and smiled. "Ever read 'Panic?' It's an...everything. It's esentially about two mates who are part of the army that fights when the Prasidons tried to attack Earth. Pretty good."

Jouthren shrugged and nodded, taking the book form the other's hands. "Thanks," he replied, "Sounds fine." He kicked off his shoes, setting them neatly at the end of the couch before curling up against the arm of the furniture. Once he was comfortable, the Zercan opened the book to the first page and started to read.

About thirty minutes later, the door swung open and in stepped Shor carrying several grocery bags. "Hello, hello, hello," he greeted the two as he came in and shut the door with his foot. "Got the stuff and picked up several phone numbers. Not bad for a short trip, huh?"
The purple hair man smirked and took the bags into the kitchen before coming back into the living room. He sat down on the couch between where Hors was doodling on some paper and where Jouthren was reading. He crossed his legs in front of him and held his hand out for Jouthren to shake. "Well, hello," he said, nodding. "I'm Shor...Pleasure to meet you."

Jouthren was jerked away from the world of the book when Shor came barging into the room. He gasped quietly in surprise, staring up at the man. He watched the man curiously as he came into the living room and settled down between them. The awkward, slightly painful tug came back full-force.
Jouthren hesitated before taking the man's hand. "Yes... I... I'm Jouthren," he mumbled, trying to fight off the feeling he didn't want to admit he had.
