Hors nodded and started escorting Jouthren. The walk to his apartment was short and quiet. The Zercan seemed to be sulking and he was just lost in his thoughts. "We're here," he announced as they walked into the complex's lobby.
"My apartment is in the second floor. My eldest brother, Rohs, is on the top above me and my second eldest brother, Shor, is on the botton from me. You'll come in contact a lot with them while you are here," he said, leading the other up the stairs.

Jouthren shrugged and nodded, showing that he had heard. He didn't respond in any other way, though; he wasn't sure how to. "....Are you three close?" he asked quietly.

Hors chuckled warmly as they started down the second floor hallway. "Extremely," he agreed. "Rohs raised Shor and I. We are originally from Jeskara, but when Rohs found his mate and decided to move here...We just kind of follorwed." He shrugged and pushed open his door when they approached it.
He took Jouthren's bag and deposited it on the couch before sitting down. "Which actually leads to something I wanted to talk to you about because I'm not sure Markul mentioned it or not," he said, patting the chair next to him. "I am from Jeskara, and no...I am not some fruit-and-vegetable loving species or whatever, meaning I must be one of perhaps three Jeskaran races. I am in fact from two - Incubi and Vampyres." He paused to let this news sink into the other boy's skull.

Jouthren listened carefully, taking in the man's explanation. He had a feeling he was going to be staying here for awhile, and he wanted to know as much about the man and his brother's as possible. He took a seat, as Hors had instructed, before blanching.
"N-no... He... he failed to mention that...," he mumbled quietly. He bit his lip, staring at the ground in thought. "I... I suppose it... uhm.... I suppose it is alright... I've no reason to dislike you for what you are, right? If that's what you mean, and if you're thinking that I won't be alright with the way you feed... well, you do practically own me. I don't really care what you do as long as you treat me well otherwise, you know?" he stated, looking up at Hors.

Hors nodded, smiling. "Good," he said. "Though I don't like to think of it as...owning you. You're still a person and can do whatever you wish. In all actuality, if I may be blunt, one of the only reasons I considered a mistress was for better access to nutrition."
He laughed slightly and rubbed the back of his head. "I hope you don't mind that I aquired you only for the food...I'm more of a submissive than probably the rest of your previous keepers, so I hope you weren't looking for a romance or anything," he said, with a shrug. "We can be friends though...Just friends with benefits and all that."

Jouthren grinned and shrugged. "Sure. Fine with me," he stated. He was actually kind of glad. He didn't want another person to be so emotionally attatched to him... it made him attatched to them, in the end, and it was harder to leave them that way. "I'd rather be friends, really. It makes it easier for me when I have to leave... after you find your mate," he explained.

Hors laughed at that. "Me? A mate? I don't think so...," he said with a small smile. "But what about you? You could just as easily find your mate as well. I'm not restraining you here because of the fact that you're legally mine or something else like that, you know. You could leave me rather than being forced to go."

Jouthren shrugged nonchalantly. "Why? Where would I go? The chances of me finding a mate are slimmer than yours, you know. Besides, you seem nice enough. You're much better than some people I've been with," he stated.

Hors smiled and nodded. "Well, that's good," he said, standing. "That you like it here, I mean...Though we still have to get food for you. Since my brothers and I only feed on blood and sex essentially, I only have a little bit of stuff that's real food for Rohs' mate."
He walked over to the phone and dialed in a number, looking over at the Zercan with a smile. "Hello? Shor? Hi! Yeah. No, I did. He's here right now actually. Of course you can meet him...When you get back from shopping. Well, I don't want to leave him here, so I'll get a list of stuff he likes and you can pop in here, pick it up, and than go shopping," he said before rolling his eyes. "Yes, I know. Now, stop by in five to ten minutes. Bye!" He hung up the phone and smiled.
"Well, that means that now you'll have to write a list of the stuff you like," the halfbreed said, bending over to look in the endtable drawer for a pad of paper and a pencil. "Shor will go out to buy it and we can get to know each other better while he's gone."

Jouthren blinked, staring at Hors in surprise. "You... You don't have to do all this for me...," he mumbled, "Just... just... I dunno, but it really isn't necessary!" he argued, standing from the couch.

Hors laughed and moved over to the couch and gently pushed the other boy back down. "Just write. What else would we do? Let you starve? Really, it's no big deal. We're not exactly poor and since we don't eat food, than we save a lot." He handed the pad of paper to Jouthren and smiled. "And Shor doesn't mind going out either. It means more of a chance meeting up with some unmated Zercan."

Jouthren sighed, shaking his head as he let himself admit defeat. He took the paper and started to write down a list of things that he liked. "Do... do you have any... uh... you know, like... pots and pans and stuff? It's kinda hard to eat if you don't prepare the food first. But... I guess if you don't really eat food... that you wouldn't need that stuff?" He looked up at Hors with a curious look. He hadn't really thought of that before, but it was a good thing that he had thought of it. What if Hors didn't have anything like that? It'd make everything a whole lot harder to eat...

Hors paused, thoughtfully before smiling sheepishly. "Um, jot that down than. I know we have a few things like some silverware and some bowls...We also have a wine glasses, but that's it," he said, nodding at the piece of paper. "Write exactly what you want, so Shor will know which ones to get."

Jouthren nodded, a sign that he'd heard the other, and kept jotting things down. When he was finished, he looked up at Hors and blushed. "Ah... I'm sorry... it's kind of long...I should take few things off," he mumbled, looking through the list for things that he could remove.

Before the other boy could change anything, Hors yanked the paper out of his hands and smirked. "Nope. It's fine." A knock on the door could be heard and the black haired halfbreed winked. "Besides, Shor's here."
