"Ice cream sounds good. Movies, too, or mall - but ice cream first. Maybe in the mall? Or is there an ice cream place in the mall? If there is, we could go there and do two at once...? I can do reasearch. For my novel. That's probably never going to be finished, but life's more about the journey."
He grinned at Xandyr.
"Whaddaya say? Interested...?"

"Well... Um... Alright... Oh and..." He thinks back to something some one once told him. "I believe in that new mall, east-something... There is an ice cream place in a movie theater in that mall..." he nods to himself. "Unfortunately its a long walk from here... So, um... Yeah... maybe not..."

"Well, we could always take a cab... or the bus... that sounds like a great place to hang with friends!"
He stuck his hands in his pockets.
"Unless there's somplace else you'd rather go?"
Green eyes met amber. He felt, once again, like he was going to be pulled in.

"Um," The male worries his lip a bit, looking away from star filled eyes. "Uh... I don't know if I'd have enough for a cab, a movie, ice cream, and other various stuff... But I... I,uh..." He's flushing lightly, trying to find a way to explain he's scared of buses, heck, he's scared of public transportation.

"No worries, then, I'll get the cab and the ice cream and you get the movie?"
He smiled.
"Or we don't go actually see the movie, we just hang out and eat ice cream and you can get the ice cream and I'll get the cab."

"Hmmm..." Xandyr thinks this over before nodding in agreement. "Yeah. That'll work just fine... Although, it might end up with you having the bigger bill though..."

So they get a cab and head to the movie place because its still pretty convenient. Once there Xandyr hops out and waits for Jaryn to join him on the side walk.

Jaryn stepped out of the cab, paid the driver, and stretched, looking aound.
"Aw, man, this is the greatest place ever! There's a whole lot of stores, and - is that the theater with the ice cream? Aw, man, this is just great."
He waved to Xandyr. "Come on, what are we waiting for?"

"You," Xandyr replies simply as he paces over and begins to head around back for the theater. Its easier to get to the ice cream place from the back... Plus, he wants to see the frogs again. Looking in he sees no one is working at the back desk, but the door are unlocked. So he walks in, heading towards the stairs, stopping when he gets around the small wall between him and them. Looking to his left he smiles, the frogs are being misted right now so they're mostly hiding. But a few brave souls stay out and about. He turns to Jaryn. "Dart Frogs."

He crouched to stare at the frogs with a smile on his face. "They're so tiny... really cute, huh...?" He turned to look at Xandyr again, his smile softening to something a little less giant and goofy, a little more soft and tender. "This is awesome."

Xandyr nods, watching the frogs a moment more before pointing out one. Its an almost blue green with black legs and spots, "This one is my favorite. Don't know if it has an official name, but I call 'em Gems." he waves to the little frog as it hops into shelter from the mist. "What about you? You have a favorite?" The question came out with an ease that he didn't think he would have, but then again... frogs...

"Gems, huh...?" He looked at the frogs, then back at the other boy. "Do the rest have names, too? At least... have you named them...?"

He nod begins to point each one out, "Aqua, Topaz, Ruby, Umber because that one hides under the fake tree bark, Ion, Rusty, Glimmer and Shimmer see they look almost exactly alike expect Shimmer has one less tiny spot, Spots, Copper, and Seth..."

"You've spent a lot of time here," he commented. "THey're all beautiful..... I ca see why each of them was named what thy are. Except.... well..." He chuckled. "No offense, but... why 'Seth'?"
