As he stepped into the park, his eyes caught on the complete serenity of another early-bird.... and he stopped, completely.
It was the librarian from yesterday. The eyes that were buried in the book were still shining that odd shade of amber, a shade that humans didn't usually naturally have. The soccer ball under his own arm forgotten on the grass where he'd dropped it in his sudden stop, he walked over to the other man.
"....Hey there, fancy meeting you here." He smiled. "I was just out to get some early-morning practice.... you come and read here often...?'

Xandyr turns a few pages of his book before registering he was being talked to. Slowly looking up he stares into star filled green eyes. He pauses before opening his mouth slightly, or more so realizing his mouth has been hanging open slightly. Then words tumble from his mouth as his brain catches up to what had been spoken to him finally.
"Yes, its one of my favorite parks... Why do you want to know?" He suddenly frowns. "You aren't stalking me now are you?" And the intensity of his voice makes him jump, shake his head and duck it a little. He hadn't meant to be rude after all.

"Stalking...? Well, I was about to ask you the same thing, so I don't think so." He plopped down next to Xandyr. "Maybe it's something more like 'destiny'?" He laughed, shaking his head. "Well, if you believe in that kind of thing. No, I was just planning on stopping by your work tomorrow to return the book I borrowed, maybe pick up some new ones - but that's as far as my 'dark intent' goes."
He grinned, staring back into amber eyes. He could get lost in those. Maybe was gettin lost n them.
"It feelslike I've seen you before somewhere y'know...? Maybe in a past life... I suppose I could pick up a book on Tarot and scry the past... divination's something I haen't done, maybe it's time to give it a try. Of course, it'd be easier to divine you if you'd just tell me a little about yourself so I didn't have to."

"Um. Past... Life...?" The question sticks to his tongue as he thinks over the previous line about destiny. "Well... Everything does happen for a reason." As the other stares into his eyes he felt a little unnerved and broke the contact by looking down.
"... And sure, if we have any books like that..."

Sigh.
"Is it too much to ask to get your last name and maybe, a hobby or two...? I dunno, it feels like we're friends already, but I don't know anything about you..."
He sighed again.
"Oh well. Look, sorry for bothering you... didn't mean to creep you out. Oh for one, sameas it always starts....maybe I need to work on my technique..."

"You did say something about practice, right?" Xandyr comments with out thought before mentally scolding himself. Honestly he slips up so much with this guys around... He normally isn't this mean... "I mean... Zenyth. Xandyr Zenyth. Reading and not cooking."

"I meant my soccer kick, not my flirting..."
He pulled a hand through his hair, then glanced back at Xandyr. "Xandyr Zenyth, huh? Odd name... I like it." He chuckled. "Not cooking, huh? I went through a phase of that. Cooking, I mean. I'm pretty good at it now....... How old are you? You can't be much older than me."

"Jaryn Starr isn't quite common either," He comments practically silently before shaking his head "no". "You're probably right, I'm eighteen... And you, Mr. Starr?"
He glances up as he speaks before looking back down to his book's pages.

"Oh, god, don't call me Mr. Starr, it makes it sound like you're talking to my dad." He grinned. "You saw my age on the form, right? BUt I'll be nice - eighteen also. SO we're the same! Ecept I'm older than you." He grinned. "Want to know how I know?"

"You're psychic."
Xandyr shrugs, although some part of him is thrilled at the idea.

He paused.
".....y'know. That's something I've never thought about trying.... reading minds and all that.... huh."
He grinned. "Man, that's a new one! I have to test it out... got any books on psychic powers....?"
Then he shook his head. "But I'm getting off the subject. Nope, unless you're exactly the same age as me, you can't be older, because I was born on New Year's Day."

"Mmm, makes sense," That thrill ebbed off and is replaced with a slight buffering effect. He sighs ad sets his book down while stretching. A long yawn escaping him.
"sleep well? or were you too busy reading?" He continues to stretch out his back before pulling out his pillow and using it to rest his head on his knees more comfortably. "And... I'm sure we do. But personally, no."

"Hmmm.... ah well. As for last night..."
He let out a heavy yawn himself.
"Too busy doing things. I wrote half a short story, painted half a large chest, drew a few sketches, and did an exercise regimen last night... I've never been this active in a creative frenzy in my life."
He smilled at Xandyr.
"Maybe moving here was goodfor me... do you think so...? Only a few weeks, and I've laready got a new friend and three new hobbies.... I'm doing well...."

"Seems to be suiting you, but you shouldn't pull all nighters all too often... They..." He yawns again. "Aren't too good for you, ya know?"
Remembering his book he puts its away.

"Sounds like you pulled one yourself," he pointed out with a shrug. "You seem to befairly tired.... then again, yesterday, you were sleeping on your book, so I'm guessing you're more of a night person than a day person?"
