Xan coils his muscles before racing after the others, trying to keep up with the elder lion and the blue dragon. Be careful, they might miss someone. Xan thinks to himself as he tries to keep up with Zeke who is attempting to lead them out of the building. Bracken and Nah are more than a few strides ahead of Xandyr and he still keeps Nah safe on his back as he runs.

"I've got that covered," I mumbled, feeling the blurry feelling I was associating with the strange shifts of consciousness. I hadn't changed yet - at least, I didn't think I had - but I could feel it coming.
Was that even possible?
Every instance had been dreamlike, surreal. But the person Nah had called Master was paralyzed somewhere back there, because of me. And Xan had seen me, back there, when we'd met up again. So it couldn't have been a dream, or a hallucination - my body was really changing when those things happened.
How was that possible? I was human.
Wasn't I?

Xan nods as they follow behind. After a few turns Bracken races ahead of the group. Nah weakly directing him as he goes. Zeke ends up following those two. The younger lion follows them all, growing excited as he began to smell fresh air. Its an amazing thing. We're almost there, Jaryn! We're gonna make it!

"Yes...! Yes.....!" I called, urging him forward with my mind. Every nerve thrummed with excitement, nto just mine but the others' as well.
We were almost out...! Almost....! Almost....!

And then they were out. The nighttime world thrumming around them as they come to a slower walk. Xan exhales and they move quickly into the dense forest. Bracken had slowed as well, Nah slumping on him now. Zeke meanwhile has zipped ahead only to zip back and jump onto the the blue dragon with a purr, changing into a person halfway through. Xandyr slows until he can let the human down from his back.
Zeke then shouts, "We did it!"
