Van stood and grunted before crossing his arms and saying slowly, "You. Love. Only. Me."

Gamma frowned. "So you act out like this because you think they're trying to take my love from you?"

Van said nothing just stared at his father with fathomless blue eyes.

Gamma sighed. "Van. I love you and your brothers more than anything else in the world. I wouldn't allow it if anyone treated you terribly and I will not allow you to do so to them. Do you understand me?"

"But I don't daddy," he said, his face once more angelic.

"Van. If I hear anymore reports of this, you will be in trouble. Okay?" Gamma said.

"Of course, daddy," he said batting his eyelashes before heading back into the living room where his siblings were. Halen was drawing in his sketchpad while Misha colored. He met both of their eyes and smirked.

Halen made a face at the little demon before going back to his coloring as Gamma went to go see about his mate.

Jiri smiled up at Gamma when the man entered the kitchen. He'd replaced his shirt and thought nothin of embracing his mate and kissing him softly before muttering. "Our son hates me."

Gamma sighed. "He...thinks you all are trying to steal me from him. It's a daddy complex like I've never seen." he said, shaking his head. "Why do you not discipline him when he does these things?"

"I try to make him go to his room but short of picking him up and carrying him there I just don't know. He paused a moment to collect his thoughts before admitting. "I don't know how to deal with him, Gamma. He seems very aggressive in a way I've never seen. Besides..." he shifted uncomfortably. "I've never struck a child before and I'm not sure its something I would be able to do."

Gamma sighed. "I know you're uncomfortable with it, but sometimes it must be done. My parents beat my ass--though, as a Jeskaran I suppose it was more out of hellishness than discipline."

Jiri shrugged. Though he himself had never been spanked he had seen his siblings get a smack when it was warranted. "I know," he finally sighed. "I'll try to do better."

Gamma looked at his mate. "You know I don't want you to do anything you don't wanna do."

Jiri met his mate's eyes. "it's not about what I want to do. it's about what is best for the children. Besides," he frowned, "Van is mean to Misha. I must protect him as well as teach Van how to treat others. This is what i signed up for when we decided I would stay at home with the children while you worked."
