Sabre shoved the sodas into Becca's hands and then ran out the door after Talos. He had no idea which way the merman went. But he didn't care. He was just too shocked and scared to let it all go down this way.
He was just about to call Talos' name out like if he were calling a dog when he heard crying coming from down an alley. Cautiously, he walked down the alley until he saw a curled up man on the ground crying. He stopped about 6 feet away d=so he wouldn't scare him.
"Hey," He called gently to Talos. He didn't want the man to try to run again. "What happened? If I did something wrong, I'm sorry man. Don't cry. I'll try to be better. I promise."

Talos looked up, his eyes wide and full of fear. The merman recognized Sabre, and hugged him tightly. "I-I'm sorry! T-that word, b-baby, i-it brought back the memories..." He sobbed into Sabre's chest. "Y-you deserve to know what h-happened." The male took a deep breath, and began to tell the story.
"I-It all st-started s-six years ago, on my 16th birthday... A-a group of men showed up at my birthday party, dressed in black. T-they killed everyone there, my mom included, except for me... I-I was taken by them to a-a secret compound... T-there, I-I was... I was... defiled... by a man who said he was my d-dad... He called me baby as he t-thrust in. I-I lived like this f-for t-two long years. I-I escaped, a-and fled here... T-to Earth..."

Sabre clutched Talos tight the very second he was in his arms. He cried with the shivering merman and listened intently to the man's horrible secret. He rocked and kissed Talos' head.
"I promise you my Talos," he pointed out firmly but lovingly. "From now on, you have nothing to fear from him or me. I protect what needs protecting. You, my Talos, are mine to protect."
He lifted Talos' chin up so that he could look into his hurt eyes. Gently, he kissed Talos' forehead.

Talos nodded, before burying his face in the giver's chest. Slowly, ever so slowly, the merman's nerves calmed down. Looking up at Sabre, he smiled, a genuine smile, and gently kissed his mate's lips.

Sabre felt Talos settle down in his arms. He never stopped hugging him. He never stopped rocking him either. But he was really shocked when Talos leaned up and kissed him. He kissed back softly, like a peck. He didn't want to take advantage of Talos when he was so vulnerable like this, especially after news like that.

The merman snuggled into Sabre's chest, breathing in that special scent. "You're warm..." Talos mumbled, before giggling softly. It felt so good to finally share that with someone, He felt like a child again, without any worries of rape or kidnapping.

Sabre just snuggled him. He didn't care that they were in a dark and dangerous alley. He didn't care that the movie already started. He didn't care that Becca was alone right now.
The only thing that he cared about right now was cuddling in his arms and smiling again. He gentle pecked Talos' temple and whispered, "I'm here for you, hot or cold."

Looking up at Sabre, Talos smiled. "I know you mean that, despite how corny it sounds~" The merman winked.

Sabre hummed softly with a genuine smile for Talos. He continued to rock and cradle the smaller bearer. He really loved the feel of this man in his arms. He didn't care if they ever got up again.

Flushing lightly, Talos took Sabre's hand and pulling himself up, and right into the other male's chest.

Sabre hugged him looosely. It felt perfect to have the merman so close and so perfect against him. He just held him there until the other male wanted to pull away. He didn't want to scare Talos by making him feel confined. But he did want to show him that there was definitley some strong emotions there.

The merman, nuzzled Sabre's chest gently, feeling completely content. After a few moments. Talos pulled back and, with a sly wink, took off. "Race ya!"

Sabre was so comfortable in their hug, he was like in a meditative state. His mind and body got used to the other body being pressed agaonst his. When Talos leaned back, Sabre nearly fell forward. And when the boy took off running, Sabre barely had the energy to walk. Bt somehow, he trailed only about 20 steps behind...though, they were long steps..
