Sabre sat there shocked. He kept looking down at the limp but angelic sleeping face and then back up at Jake.
He just couldn't believe it. Talos had suffered? Talos had killed?

Becca put a hand over her mouth, just as shocked as Sabre. "My God... Talos... went through something like that...?"
"Yes... But, to him, the physical scars weren't as painful as the mental and emotional ones... The loss of his mother, the betrayal by his father; that is what did the most damage to him. That's why he keeps to himself all the time; if he doesn't build emotional bonds with people, they can't hurt him like that..."

Sabre dared peck Talos on the temple. "I'm yours now." He whispered under his breath. "Now you have me always."
Sabre purred softly as he relaxed uunder Talos. "I...ummm...love him." He admitted quietly. "Like Love love him."

Sabre blushed bright red. He hadn't expected Talos to hear him. But he was glad Talos did. Now he knew that Talos knew that he really truly did love him."You don't mind being seen with a free peace sign tye dye wearing lifeguad like me?"

Saber purred deeply. His chest rumbled with love. "Sounds good to me. But, did I pass the test? Do you trust me? Do you trust that I am here to love and protect you and cause you no harm?"

Talos simply smiled, before snuggling into Sabre's chest.
"Hey, Becca, let's give them some time alone, okay?" Jake whispered softly, standing up slowly.
"Want to go get a soda?" Becca offered, leading Jake out of the house.

Sabre cocked his head curiously when both Becca and Jake stood up and headed for the door. He was grateful for the privacy though. He leaned down gently and kissed Talos' soft lips.
