Sabre frowned. **First off, they aren't my dolphins. They are their own living breathing beings. Secondly, I never once mentioned mating to you. You, brought up the subject. And third, I don't know what happened to your mom but whatever it is, you need counseling and a hug.**
The school of dolphins fell silent then swam away. They didn't even say goodbye.
Sabre watched them go and began to follow. **All I wanted to do was say thank you. But you know what...Thank you.** Sabre then transformed back into his humanoid body and surfaced quickly.
Solemnly, he swam back to shore. He didn't know why this hurt so much but it did.

Talos blinked. The hurt he felt... Quickly, he swam after the giver.

Sabre stopped swimming to listen to the other male's apology. That, and he was finding that he was indeed really liking the merman.
"He smiled carefully. "Forgiven. Now can we just be friends for now? If something happens, it happens?"

Sabre reached out and grabbed Talos' hand. He smiled gently even though he had felt the telltale shock. "Well, you have one in me now. I hope you like BIG parties because today we are having a birthday party at the lodge in an hour. You are coming with me."

Sabre lifted up a rock and pulled out a spare pair of swim trunks and wiggled into them as he resurfaced for air. "I saw that I was missing something." He joked with a wink. He retook the other man's hand and continued swimming back to shore.
