Reluctant Heart (Killian/Talen)

"You should sleep, Tal," Killian says softly as he lays them back. "I'll wake you in the morning."

[Ninia]

"Mmmhmm" Talen rolled onto his front and gently clutched the sheet in a loose grip. He opened his eyes briefly and looked at Killian "Night" he mumbled before he let sleep take him.

[mesmu]

"Good night," The giver smiles and watched his mate sleep a few minutes before sleep takes his number and he's snoring lightly besides Talen. An arm draped a crossed the bearer in an act of protection.

[Ninia]

Talen woke up early in the morning. He slowly opened his eyes to see Killian's peaceful face in front of his. He watched him sleep for a moment before he slowly sat up trying not to wake Killian. He slid Killian's arm off him and stood off the bed before he moved to the bathroom.

Killian instincts are to wake up at the slightest of movement, so he groggily opens an eye to see Talen heading for the bathroom. He yawns as the other closes the door and mumbles to himself.

[Ninia]

Talen looked at his reflection in the mirror. Dual-coloured eyes stared back at him. He slowly traced a finger under one, he had faint bags under his eyes. He hadn't been getting a lot of sleep lately, dreams of his parents haunting him but last night was surprisingly peaceful. Talen turned away from the mirror and started running a shower. He folded his clothes then stood under the hot spray.

Killian was about to fall back to sleep when he hears the water get turned on. Smiling to himself he heads for the bathroom as well, might as well save water, and he stripes as he goes. Once inside the smaller room he heads for the shower, slipping in behind Talen, "Good morning."

[Ninia]

Talen jumped and stumbled forward. He spun round and stared at Killian with wide eyes. "What are you doing?!" He felt his face grow hotter as his eyes slowly traveled from Killian's face, to his chest, then slowly lower-
Talen spun back round so his back was to Killian. "G-Get out Killian." He mentally cursed the stutter in his voice.

"Calm down," Kill doesn't leave, instead he puts one hand on Talen's shoulder and the other rubs soothing circles into his mate's upper back. "We're just showering together."

[Ninia]

Talen was tense but slowly started to relax under Killian's touch. He let out a soft sigh and closed his eyes, enjoying the warmth from both the water and Killian's hands.

Killian smiles, "That's right, Tal... Just relax." He grabs the soup and begins washing his mate, and kissing his neck. "I'm right here, nothing to worry about."

[Ninia]

Talen bit his lip and let his head rest back on Killian's shoulder. His skin felt hot where Killian's hands touched him.

[mesmu]

Killian smiles and soon finishes washing his mate's body, "Want me to do your hair as well?"

[Ninia]

"Y-Yeah" Talen nodded, letting himself enjoy the moment.

[mesmu]

Smiling the blond takes the shampoo bottle and gets a gracious amount before rubbing it into his mate's hair, massaging the scalp now.
