Catch Your Wave (Krys/Delano)

"Yeah...sorry. I'm not gay." Kyrs said, as he stood to head back into the kitchen.

Delano squinted after Kyrs. "So, your Daddy doesn't like boys?" He nearly pouted as he asked Codie this question.

"Like boys?" Codie asked, confused. "I'm a boy, and he likes me." He said with a smill frown, not understanding.

[clementine]

Delano grinned and ruffled Codie's hair again. "That's cause you're special." With a sigh, the Zercan tossed a few bills too many to cover the food charge, still not understanding Earth money. "See yah around kid." He told Codie before heading out. He'd loitered to long as it was and needed to find a place to stay.

"Bye, bye Mr!" he said, waving as he swung his feet.

Later on, Kyrs headed from the kitchen and he smiled. "Alright Cods, ready to hit the waves?" he asked.

Delano had able towards the beach, the strong scent of salt in the air having led him to the place. It was beautiful to be sure, and the sand felt good against his bare feet. He watched all the silly humans frolicking about in the water and surprisingly thought it would be a go place to live. But...how to find a house?

Kyrs pulled up to the beach with Codie, getting out to sit on the back of the old trailblazer to pull on his wetsuit.

He helped Codie and grabbed their longboards and headed to the water. "Come on, dude. Let's see if we can get you on those waves." he smiled.

"I don't think humans live UNDER the water, Del." Came Fiore's voice from over the com watch.

"I know that." Delano scoffed softly, ankle deep in sea water, his pants rolled up. "I was just checking." He looked up and out over the bluffs, seeing the houses lined behind them. He started to head off in that direction, wanting a house there.

Codie and Kyrstrpher headed out into the water, laughing. They hit the water and moved into the waves, Kyrs helping Codie ride the smaller waves.

Delano squinted when familiar voices hit his sensitive ears. He turned to see Codie and his daddy-who-wasn't-his-daddy, jump out into the surf on some weird boards.

"Surd boards." Fiore supplied, voice tinny and informative. "It's based on an old Hawaiian--"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Delano cut off his computer quickly, simply watching the males, rooted to the spot.

"Ok Ok, watch me kiddo. Stay in the shallows." Kyrs said as Codie moved to shallower water and Kyrs paddled out to the waves. He caught the waves and stood on his board, pulling a 180 and moving around beautifully on the waves.

Delano himself was definitely watching intently, licking his lips at the sight of all the water washing over Kyrs. The male was absolutely stunning. How could something like that be wasted on females?

Kyrs pulled back in, Codie clapping. "Yah! Go Daddy!" he grinned.

Kyrs smiled. "That's how it goes Kiddo." he smiled.

Delano sighed, heart melting towards Kyrs. Sighing, he just shook his head and splash off. He had to stop day dreaming.

Kyrs continued to surf with his nephew before smiling. "Come on, Cods, let's head in so we can go grab some dinner."
