House hunting sucked. Oh, Delano had found something, but apparently the rent on the place was really expensive. It would take a while for Fiore to forge documents and such before he could even think of moving in. Groaning, Delano trudged depressingly back to the diner from earlier. Maybe seeing Kyrs would make him happy.

Kyrs had the late shift, so he got his best friend Gabriel to watch Cods for him. He sighed as he swept up the considerably less busy dinner before heading back inot the kitchen.

Delano was sitting at the bar, same place as before, and munched down on a very rare burger. He'd ordered properly this time and was pleased with himself. Wanting to see Kyrs, he tagged the waitress, sending her to the back to get him.

"Ay Krys, some dude's askin for ya." Said Mindy, the waitress as she popped her gum. Kyrs sighed as he headed out from the kitchen to see the guy from before. "Can I help you?" he asked, cocking his head.

Kyrs looked around the otherwise empty restaurant and shrugged. "I...guess." he said, shrugging.

Delano smiled for fully as Kyrs agreed. "So, what was that thing you were doing earlier in the water? I was at the beach earlier and saw you." Of course Fiore had explained things, but he wanted to hear it from Kyrs.

"Ah, I see." Delano nodded, trying to look wise. "This is my first time being so close to an ocean." At least an ocean on earth so he decided his words were MOSTLY truthful.

"Mmh...sure." Delano finally purred. "But only if you're my teacher." He wasn't one for water but if he could snag Krys for a few hours, he'd put up with anything.

Krys ran a hand through his hair again. "Look, I normally wouldn't mind, but my sister sorta left me saddled with her six-year old, so my schedule is pretty much just work and taking care of him so...."

Delano tried not sigh and managed to keep the smile on his face. "That's okay. Maybe we could do something your little kit would like? Zoo or something?" What was it that human children liked anyways. Well, whatever. Delano just wanted to be with Krys. HAD to be.
