Avite wipes away Cyrus' tears, "Don't cry baby." He takes the younger in his arms and begins to rock. "He'll be fine. I just know it."

And he was right, though Kairi has to hunker down and hold in the pain he's getting from his mate's feelings, he's fine. He made it easily to a bus and is now riding it up a mountain side.
"Two more days to go... Hold on sweet."

Cyrus leaned into him and nodded, "Ok..." he whispered just reaching for his mate through the miles feeling him get close.

Sometime later Mark call them in for dinner and they take their seats. The Uncle looks to his nephew, "Do you mind saying grace?"

The trip is long and Kairi decided he might as well sleep now, while he has the chance to. And even though he feels sapped a bit from being away from the lake, it hurts too much to be away from Cyrus. And he just knows the other needs him, he can feel it even in his veins.

Cyrus blushed a bit but nodded and said a prayer over their food, hoping he did it right. He soon slowly ate as he thought about his mate.

With about three miles left Kairi decided now was a good time to become a dragon. And he leaps into the air, flying straight for the aunt and uncle's home...

It was Mark whom was up when a Chinese Lung drops from his roof and onto the back lawn. Staring he shouts, "Guys! We've a mythical problem!"

Cyrus ran out then smiled wide. "Kairi!" he yelled happy. "Oh...I missed you..."

Changing to his human form Kairi rushes over to Cyrus and takes him in his arms, "Are you okay? Oh, I've missed you!"
Avite peeks out and sighs before dragging Mark inside, "Breakfast please."
