Fly Me Away... ((Von and Aubry))

Von chirps softly before whispering in Aubry's ear, "And if I'm a shape shifter who is just stuck right now as a bird?"

[ode]

"Then you'll have to bloody well prove it," Aubry said. "And even then it'll probably be weird."

[mesmu]

And Von laughs lightly, "Course pretty birdy."

[ode]

Aubry paid and headed back to the house. He didn't like being out in public too much. Made him antsy.

Once back on Von's room, he released the bird and set about putting up the bird's new stuff.

[mesmu]

When Aubry was putting stuff up Von was thinking, making him quiet. He knows he wasn't actually born a bird. But he doesn't know how to change back. He sighs and imitates a sneeze.

[ode]

"Are you okay? Are you getting sick?" Aubry asked, concerned.

[mesmu]

He just replies, "Sound good?" And returns to his own pondering.

[ode]

Aubry eyes him a long moment before finishing setting his stuff up. "Benai will be back tomorrow to check on you. He'll be able to tell if you're sick or not."

[mesmu]

"Mmmkay," He cooes and begins preening. He was tired from all he did today already. "Night."

[ode]

Aubry cleaned up the wrappers and such and patted the bird once more before heading out the room.

[mesmu]

And shortly Von is asleep, dreaming of being tall and featherless.

Aubry went back to his library where he usually stayed. Well, where he had before yesterday when he'd gotten that bird.

[mesmu]

Von naps until late at night when he wakes with a shriek. Visions of Aubry bloody and dying flashing before his eyes as he screams. And he is unable to do anything. "Aubry~!!!"

[ode]

Aubry is brought from his work by the loud mouth bird screaming - his name? Fearing something may have gotten into the house to get at him, AUbry ran upstairs and burst in the room. "Is everything alright? What's going on?"

And instead of a bird jumping on him a teen does. Multi- colored hair splaying as he does, "Aubry!!!"
