Fly Me Away... ((Von and Aubry))

[ode]

Aubry pursed his lips. "So what you're saying is you're going to fly around my home knocking over shit?"

[mesmu]

Von sighs, "No. In my room."

[ode]

"Do you want to go help me pick out some things for your room?" Aubry asked rather out of the blue. He was surprised at himself but shook it off. Von was a bird. What different did it make how he blurted things out?

[mesmu]

Von whistles, "Yes, pretty birdy~! Yes~!"

[ode]

Aubry eyed him a moment, "Do you need a cage or something?"

[mesmu]

"Perches, vines, dishes, toys, toys, toys!"

[ode]

"I meant to go to the pet shop silly," Aubry said with a grin as he rubbed the bird's head.

[mesmu]

"Oh," Hops down and runs over to a carrying case. "Go! Go! Go!"

[ode]

Aubry laughed heartily before moving to open the case and allow th bird to hop in. "We'll be there in a few," he said as he locked the bird in and headed out. Catching a quick transport, they were at the pet shop in no time. Once inside and in the bird section with a cart before him, he took Von out and held him on his fingers. "See anything you like?"

Von looks around before pointing out some rope perches, some plastic balls with bells, a tiny free standing mirror, and some wood blocks. He hoots at each and then crawls up Aubry's arm to rest on his shoulder with a churr.

A female with blue hair looks over at them, "Is that Nirvauna?" She comes over and smiles. "So you're the lucky man who brought our smart baby here?"

Aubry frowned at the woman, not liking her talking about his bird. He wasn't used to people and their conversations. "Uh... yeah."

She smiles, "I'm Tera. And if you need anything, just ask." And she goes back to her work.

Von nuzzles Aubry and cooes, "She good person. But Von loves pretty birdy, I love you."

[ode]

Aubry restrained himself from plucking Von before grabbing the birds selected toys and putting them in the cart. "Anything else you want?"

The bird makes a purring noise, "You~."

[ode]

"I may make a habit of talking to a bird. But bestiality is not my cup of tea," he grunted and went to pay for the items.
