Of Ukes and Smoothies (Zehl/Kau-MATURE)

Kau giggled a little and tugged gently on Henry's arm, as he began to stumble and fall back to the house, pouting and and just resorting to crawling. He Caught up to Papa and looked up at Triem with concern, knowing that something was going to happen between him and papa, and it never turned out good. Once inside the home Abel simply dropped the Zercan to the floor with a thud and walked back to Daren taking Nebby back from him smiling happily down at his kit.

Zero looked over to his brother and scooted closer to him, purring lightly as he rested his head on his brother's, almost falling asleep. Kau stood up and began preparing tea, he tried to reach for the cups, but they were all too high in the cabinets for him and he ended up falling. He turned to Triem still in the hall, "H-help?" he managed to get out.

Triem's anger is snapped away when his sensitive ears hear a small call of help. He comes in quickly and leans down, first giving his brother in law's cheek a lick before glancing upward, "The cups?"

Zehl had followed closely behind Daren and Gravity had glared at his cousin the whole way, upsetted by his presence.

While Sheba begins to walk with Henry. Keeping the pregnant male balanced and a watchful eye around them. Unknown to everyone Sheba was attacked in these woods the first time he tread through them. But he won't let a kitten, even if heavy with kits himself, ever be harmed by an outside source. He's rather get killed.

Henry looks around the forest. It nothing like the one near his home. It was huge! And there was exotic plants every where. "Look at all the pretty flowers!" he said cheerfully, trotting next to Sheba.

Abel walked next to his lover, Daren, listening in on Henry's and Sheba's conversation. "I see you like my forest, but don't go up and start smelling one, they might eat you, I can't get rid of those ones though, they grow wild here, so they'll just come back with a vengeance," he continued as he made a funny face for his baby, completely obsessed with him, just like the day he found Kau. As soon as the thought entered his head his face darkened and he held his babe close, mumbling something in tongues, he knew the kit wouldn't know until he was older.

Kau blushed feeling his brother in law lick his cheek, and nodded silently when the man gestured to the cups. He motioned for the man to set them on the counter while he began to re-fix breakfast, the eggs were done for, the biscuits were fine, pancakes and waffles were too, sausage, and bacon, everything but the eggs were salvageable. He began breaking some eggs as he began to re-heat everything the oven. He let the eggs cook preparing bottles for the kits.

How Kau managed to do this was out of most peoples minds.

Zero growled at Gravity wanting his attention, and for him to stop glaring in the direction of Nebby, he found nothing wrong with him.

Triem does as shown and leans against the counter. He watches Kau with a wonder filled gaze, "You don't ever give up, do you?"

Zehl mean while had set his kits down near the couch and crouches next to them. Gravity hisses back as his gaze is continued to stay glued to the new born with a still upset look.

Sheba shakes his head at Henry, "Mind what Abel says now dear."

Henry nods in rply to sheba and walks in the house. He skips over to kau, "Food!" he looked at kau with eager eyes, "Pudding?!"

Kau blushed darkly, he forgot about that, he put the bottles down, and put the eggs on a plat, before rushing to the fridge. He pulled out the whole jug of milk, two sticks of butter, and a bottle of aged vanilla. He rushed to the pantry and pulled out the sugar, flour, and Cocoa before running to get an almost obscenely large bowl. He poured his sugar, flour, and cocoa into the bowl and mixed it gently on low heat as he added the milk. He waited for the pudding to thicken some and the added the butter and vanilla, continuing to stir as he did so with one hand, and put the eggs on a plate with the other. The pudding was done but warm, and stuck it in the freezer for a few minutes, giving him enough time to set the table again, this time he added more chair he dragged in from the parlor.

Zero, almost attacked his brother, getting angry since his attention was constantly being denied. He cried and his head under his brother's sniffling.

Abel looked down at Gravity and cocked his head to the side, still holding him close. He squatted down next to the kit and pet his head. "Don't worry, he won't replace you, you still have a place in papa's heart too," he said cheerfully.

Gravity purrs then nuzzles his twin, asking for forgiveness. Mewling softly. Nebula purrs when the soulless gaze of his cousin leaves him and curls up in his mother's arms, whom came to see what Kau's commotion was.

Zehl smiles at Abel, "Gravi says he loves you too." Before returning to the wonder of his babies.

Sheba glances around before slipping off to call his second baby and ask him if he will bring his AI to his father.

Henry smiles widely as Kau made the pudding, "YAY!"

Kau turned off the oven, and pulled the pudding from the freezer. He put the large piles of food on the table and asked Triem to get the plates again, so he could finish setting the table. Once it was done he took a seat and said, his head falling on the table in front of him with a clunk. Abel walked in following his lover, making a note to himself to learn Zercan. He looked at the table and smiled, as usual, Kau made way too much, he never learned to make enough just for his guests, but for a whole army. He walked to the table and pulled out a chair for his lover and babe. Zero purred happily licking his brother's cheek, forgiving him.

Zehl carries his babies in and holds them while taking a seat on one side of Kau, Triem directs Henry to side on the other side of the worn out incubus. Darren found himself next to Triem and decides to not sit down but instead go check on his first adopted little brother, "Kitten? Are you alright?" His hand rubbing Kau's back.

Its a few minutes after that when Sheba slides in, "Dare, Ze, Tri! You're not going to believe this!"

Zehl cocks his head to the side while Triem states, "Eli finally figured out he's a man?"

Sheba glares while Daren asks, "What Ma?" And that sends Sheba into a fit of motherly squeals.

Its only when the three brother's hear Mortemer's voice on the on the other end that each one is asking their mother what? And then the moody black tiger on the other end growls, "Mother, don't."

But its too late because Sheba shouts, "That's four I tell you!!! FOUR!!!" And goes into a happy dance. "Zehl, then Daren, next Triem, and finally Morty!!!"

Daren almost falls to the floor from laughter, especially when Tri takes the AI and shows off his sour faced brother. Zehl shouts his congrats and Gravity just shouts for every one to shut up and eat with loud mews.

Nebula covers his ears with his paws and hisses at the noise. Which stops Sheba and Daren's noise on the spot, both in tune with the infant. Triem shows Henry his green eyed elder brother, "Look Ry, this is Mort. Our dead sea brother. Aka the birth defected one. The only black haired one."

Henry smiles widely and waves , "Hello!" he says cheerfully. He then turns to the pudding bowl in front of him, grabbing a spoon and taking a spoonful and shoving it in his mouth, "Mmmm!"

Abel sighed at his Mate and sat down in his place with a smile, his ears rang as the family continued to scream and yell, he looked to the exhausted Kau groaning and covering his ears. He remained quiet and let them get it out of their system, knowing it was a special moment for them. He jumped and yelped slightly when Nebby screamed for them to shut up, he held his ears like Kau pressing head on the table as his ears recovered. When the family finally quieted down Abel and Kau finally sat up and sighed, their ears still ringing. Kau having only two senses for most of his life made his ears hypersensitive, an Abel, well, it just comes with being a vampyre.

Abel decided to always, always, remove himself from the room if he ever saw Sheba walking in excited like that. He looked over across to his son, Kau, who seemed to be oddly nervous. Kau looked over at Abel, before standing up and stubbling/running towards the main entrance. Abel cocked his head to the side and wondered what was the boy doing when a very, very, very un-pleasent smell entered his nostrils and made his heart sink. His hair stood slightly on end, before in a blur he closed all the curtains and locked all the windows in the kitchen and dining room, before off to close and lock all the rest without an explanation.

Kau struggled with a heavy board as wide and tall as he was, he leaned it against to metal hooks on the door before sliding it across into two other ones, locking the door shut for a second time, he turned and ran back to his room, nervous, still weak from just recently giving birth. He ran into his room and stripped, before hesitating, he stared down at the red cloth with a sad look on his face, knowing it was the only thing that Zehl had not seen, a side Kau never wanted to show.

Zehl stares worriedly after Kau, "What the...?" Letting his unfinished qeustion hang in the air, the white tiger is torn between his kits and his mate. If Kau wanted any of the three of them around Zehl was sure he would know. But right now a heaviness has settled over his heart. Coming from only one source, this is what makes him hand Zero and Gravity over to his mother, whom is also pondering about his new son in law's well being, and leaving. Quickly heading in the direction his mate went, "Kau?"

Triem had to just shoot a look in the direction of his twin to know something unsettled him, before he was out of the room. But Henry and his babies are what will always sap his attention from his first other half. He smiles at his mate, "That's right. Take your filling, Ry-ry."

Daren comes to Abel's side and hugs his mate's shoulders, "What's going on?" The tension in the air hanging like a blanket over the liger's senses. "Are you okay?" Is your little one okay?

Gravity shifts in his grandma's arms and stares after where both of his parents went. Eyes longing and ears flattened before turning back to Zero and asking him so many things in baby his kitten words slur together.

Nebula shifts as well in his Papa's hands and licks Abel's hand in a sorry. He mewls softly and holds onto his father in worry.

Henry feels the twins kicking inside him joyfully. He gigggles and takes another spoonful of pudding. He looks at Triem lovingly at the sound of his lover saying his petname. He also notices somethings bothering Triem. He reaches his hand over and squeezes Triems hand, "I love you."
