However, picking out papers seemed to take longer than Glwys thought. An hour and thirty minutes later, he was done.

Jax had gotten inpatient and went back home. He told the clerk at the fish shop to tell Glwys where he had gone. When Glywys got done was about the time he started on dinner.

Glwys felt really stupid when he found out Jax went home without him. He quickly rushed back and into the kitchen. "Jax! S-sorry I took so long, it's just, I couldn't decide whether I liked the thicker or thinner paper better, and the colors, and...well..." He hung his head.

Jax looked to him curious, "I figured you had a reason," he told him softly. "Its alright. Dinner should be ready soon..."

Glwys was a little caught off guard. Leaving his mate alone like that was a horrible thing to do. "Lnh...eh...Dinner will be ready soon? Jax, you should be mad at me, yelling, I don't care. I feel horrible. I'm trying to make a good impression on you then I do something like that. Can't you at least hit me, you must feel at least a little annoyed with be left alone, right?"

Jax looked to him confused, "Why?" he asked softly. "Its fine. You were busy, its not a big deal." He sighed, "Why would I want to hit you?"

Glwys just sighed. "I guess you really don't care then. Whatever. If you ever do want to hit me, please do, at least then I'll know you hold some sort of feeling toward me." With that, he left.

Jax frowned confused, "Hey wait!" he ordered following him. "Why are you angry with me? I understand that you were busy. I would probably do that with shopping for groceries, so I understand..."

Glwys sighed. "No, I don't think you really understand. Since we've known each other, I don't think I've ever kept you waiting, have I, at least I tried not to. I know you let me hold your hand, but perhaps I should have asked to do that years ago. It's fustrating."

Jax looked to him then sighed, "I don't understand..." he told him softly. "I like where we are at...you know that..."

"I'm such an idiot," Glwys said. "I know, I know, I can't expect you to want more so soon. Just, next time I do something stupid like that, don't let me, can you do that for me?"

Jax looked to him and sighed, "I do not want to order you around," he protested. "I want you to be able to do what you like..."

"We sigh too much around here. I've got work, I'll come out when the food's done," Glwys said. Arguing with Jax wasn't getting anywhere.

Jax looked towards him still confused. "Your angry," he muttered. "I didn't do anything wrong, why are you angry?"

Glwys forced a smile onto his face. "I'm not angry, I just got a little sad and worried when I found out you left by yourself. I thought you might have really wanted to walk back together."
