"Is he from the back water planet like our Shodan's mate?" he asked offhandedly as he waited for what he hoped was desert.

"Ah, no. He's just a very accomplished chef. He's Sensaphorian." Artemis explained, going back into the kitchen and returning with a plate of mochigashi, small confectioneries filled with sweet bean paste. "And dessert." Artemis chirped, sitting back down.

Gent finished that up too and licked the spoon clean. "There now, why couldn't you have cooked like that when you first got here?" He paused then as a question emerged in his head. "Why do you do this? Be a housekeeper. You seem smart, you are beautiful and you're witty to boot. Why did you chose this career path?"

Artemis flushed at the unexpected compliment, whatever sharp remark to Gent's first question flying out the window. "Oh, well since I'm a live in housekeeper, it's a lot easier to stay here on Zerca. You wouldn't believe how expensive an apartment." The teen explained with a depressed sigh. "I'm telling you now though. As soon as the routine is settled here, I'm going out."
The fae refused to stay cooped up all the time. It was pretty lame. He wanted to go shopping!

Gent didn't like the idea of the male going out without a proper chaperone but despite the feeling deep within his chest for the boy he needed to realize that he was not the boy's keeper. "Whats... what's there to settle?" his voice was gruff now as he spoke, displeased at the thought of the boy being away from him. "All you have to do is feed me and clean. Even you can manage that."
That growl led to him getting up and stomping away. He was ridiculously hurt that the male wanted to leave from his presence even if he did only want to go to the market or something. He just felt panicky at the thought of the fae around another man. Without him... Bloody hell, he was confusing himself!

Artemis blink in confusion. "What the hell Gent!" The fae shouted at the retreating male. First he'd been complimented and then dissed. Gent seriously needed to make up his damn mind. Huffing in irritation, Artemis got up to clean the dishes and the kitchen as loudly as possible.

"Like I care if he's loud. Stupid fairy..." Gent mumbled as he climbed the stairs. He could find no peace in his room though and could think of nothing but Artemis. "Glak!" he called his Ai, "Show me the boy."
A sheer circular image appeared in front of him. It was an image of the Fae.

And a very pissed off Fae at that. "If I'm so stupid and cleaning is so easy, I'll just go shopping today." Artemis growled at himself, still slamming around the kitchen. "Damn bastard can have sandwiches for all I care." And the teen made just that, though, granted, they were yummy and stuff with beef and cheese.
After setting the food safely in a warmer, Artemis stomped out the back door.

Gent watched him go with a scowl and a prick in the back of his neck began to form. What if another male saw him and fell as hard as Gent had? What if the other Giver was not quite as gentlemanly?
"Glak! Get a fix on him. follow him and at the first sign of trouble you transport him home, do you understand? First sign of any issue and he is to be placed back in the kitchen."
"Yes, Sir!" The AI said and locked his fix.

Artemis had no idea he was being tracked as he flew to the small town. It was only four or so miles out and not too bad of a flight. Once in the village, Artemis tried to relax, flitting from one shop to another. He really didn't have any money to buy anything, but he liked window shopping. It was nice.
The teen was out for a few hours, losing track of time, especially when he gaze at anything sparkly through the shopfronts.

Gent waited at home, pacing back and forth waiting to hear something, anything. What was the boy up to? Why was he taking so long? What in Blanserta would he want to be out therr for anyway!?

Finally, right when storm clouds were starting to roll in, Artemis headed back to the manor. About halfway there, the sky just opened up and a let out a downpour. The teen was soaked within minutes, his glossy wings plastered to his back. Unable to fly, he was reduced to walking, muttering and miserable to the whole time.

Hearing the thunder, Gent couldn't take it anymore. "Glak! Bring him home now! Teleport him to this house this instant!"

On minuted the manor was just a speck in the distance, and then next, Artemis was squeaking in indignation as he was teleported right back into the kitchen. What? When the teen realized what Gent had been doing, he nearly screamed. "GENT!" He cried, nearly slipping on the kitchen floor as he left the room.

Gent said nothing just sighed in relief when he heard the mouthy fairy's screech.
