Artemis smiled. "Oh thanks. Glad I can trust myself around you." He teased, settling against the couch cushions with a sigh. He kind of liked being in Gent's lap. It was surprisingly...nice. "Do you feel a little better now?" He asked rather innocently, his childish side showing.

"Quite," Gent said, still feeling usual need to cover his face with his hand but did not. "And don't, Artemis. Don't trust me. I may believe that of a bearer but I want you something awful and hold a strong weakness for you." He admitted. "You must never trust me with your innocence."

"Gent, you are the silliest male I have ever met." Artemis announced. "And are you sure me personally is making you all hot and bothered? Oh do you just really, really want to sleep with someone?" He asked, not meanly, but just curiously. He'd know that to be a problem before. Males "liked" him and he found out later that they only wanted to sex. Was Gent the same?

Gent snorted at the male's words, "I have been around one housekeeper after another. Some were prettier than others but none ugly and I am sure a concubine can be found even for one who looks as I do. No," he shook his head, "It is only you. I'm not sure why, yet do I feel something terribly strong."

Artemis turned a delicate shade of pink, suddenly becoming shy and looking away from Gent. "O-oh?" The teen stuttered, looking immensely pleased by Gent's words a small smile on his face. He wasn't sure what else to say. He didn't want to say something to lead Gent on...though he did like the male a lot.

Gent knew better than to expect anything. He just thought the boy should know that he was anything but safe around him. Though there was one question on his mind now that his feelings were out there. "Will you leave me now? You are obviously not safe here with me."

The teen wasn't afraid that Gent would suddenly...take advantage of him. Artemis felt he was in more danger of being beaten to a pulp. "Well, now that we've established that I should probably be wearing a chastity belt, could you do me a favor?" Artemis asked, smiling sweetly at Gent. He wasn't going anywhere.

Gent eyes the man suspiciously but nodded slowly nonetheless. "What do you require?"

"Come help me get rid of the mattress in my bedroom." Artemis pouted. "It stinks like hell." That was all he said as he flitted to the door, motioning for Gent to come with him.

Gent supposed he deserved that but didn't mind grumbling all the way up the stairs. "I don't know why I should have to bother with it. You're the housekeeper after," he may have said as much but he refused to let the fae assist in the ridding of the smelly thing. Once the mattress was in the bio-degration box just outside the kitchen door, he turned to the Fae with his hands on his hips. "Can I eat now or is your plan to starve me and take over?"

Artemis was delighted that Gent did it himself. The only reason he hadn't done it himself earlier was because he couldn't lift the mattress alone. Praise Zerca for huge, muscly males!
"Oh, I plan to starve you and take over." Artemis laughed, once they were back in the kitchen. "And don't you look at me like that Mr. Bossman." He added, beginning to take things from the pantry. "Any requests?"

"I'm not picky," then as an after thought, "Just no sandwiches. I've eaten bloody well nothing but sandwiches since the last housekeeper left and you keep starving me... It's a wonder I have any meat on my bones at all!"

"Oh hush you." Artemis said, poking Gent in the side. "Maybe if you hadn't refused two of those meals you wouldn't be so hungry. Well, fine. I'm going to make sushi over rice." At that, the teen went to work making the Earthian cuisine. He also added sukiyaki salmon in case Gent didn't like the rolls. He was adept at making and meal and very soon everything was finished and smelling wonderful.

Gent eyes the little rolls on his plate but didn't hesitate too long in stuffing one in his mouth... and another... and another. Twenty minutes later he leaned back in his seat groaning. "First you try to kill me through starvation now through gluttony. What next? The guillotine?" he asked eyeing the sharp knife the fae had used to cut the fish.
"Where did you learn such an Earthling food anyway?" he asked the last off handedly.

Artemis burst out laughing as he watched Gent shoved the food down. The fae smiled, eating his own meal at a more sedate pace. It was nice actually eating the meal with Gent. It made the manor a lot more friendly.
"Oh, one of my uncle's in-laws is a really good cook. He taught me a lot of stuff." Artemis beamed proudly, remembering how much he'd had to badger Tamber for the lessons.
