Gent was pissed but he waited patiently for night to come when he was sure his face would not be seen. Going into the kitchen he got a bucket of water and threw all sort of spices and left overs in to create a putrid mixture before returning upstairs to the Fae's room. Seeing him nowhere in sight, he pulled the covers back poured the mixture all over the bed before replacing the covers.
Satisfied that the Fae was getting come uppance, he took the bucket back to the kitchen before returning to his room. Sure to lock the door against the soon-to-be-pissed fairy, he waited with a grin on his face.

Artemis had been in the shower and hadn't heard Gent sneak in. When he came out and found his bed in such a state, he nearly shrieked the roof off. While he knew it was payback from earlier, Gent had taken it a bit too far. Not only were the blankets and sheets completely soaked, but so was the mattress. That seemed ruined.
Moaning, Artemis got to work cleaning up the mess, throwing the linens into the washing machine. He didn't know what to do with the huge mattress and left it for the moment, instead, sitting in the laundry room to wait for things to be done. The poor fae ended up falling asleep there in a pile of clean towels because of the late hour and stayed there until morning.

Gent frowned when he saw the sleeping Fae. He had been peeved last night when he didn’t hear the man’s shriek of indignation but had quickly but it from his mind and fallen to sleep. But seeing the man now in the washroom, he looked so sad even in his sleep and Gent felt like such a monster. He knew rationally that he had done nothing to the boy that was harmful and with the boy’s quick temper… That was no excuse and he knew. He was a gentleman and this lad didn’t deserve his spite.
Moving into the washroom, he gently lifted the male into his arms bridal style and took him to a guestroom he kept clean when the captain visited. Laying the boy upon the bed, he pulled the cover over him. He didn’t know why he couldn’t resist the urge but he couldn’t and he allowed his hand to stray through those silky blonde locks before pulling back and walking hastily from the room.

Artemis never stirred when Gent moved him for he was too deeply asleep. He only shifted when he was put into the bed, murmuring something unintelligible. He didn't think Gent horrible for what he'd done, a little over the top, but nothing horrific. All was fair in the pranking and Artemis was mildly impressed that the male had done something instead of just shouting about it.
The teen slept for a long time, missing breakfast and lunch because of his fatigue.

Gent still felt guilty, having never given in to any childish antics before and embarrassed to have done such a thing now. He was a gentleman for stars sake! And the man, despite being a housekeep, was a guest in his home… A rowdy, redo everything, loud mouthed fairy… but still a guest. And because of this and the knowledge that sleeping in the washroom was anything but comfortable, he left the boy alone and fended for himself though he didn’t bother cleaning up the dishes when he was done. Really, his self-sufficient ways went only so far.
Bored with the lack of noise and nothing more to do, he moved to the screening room and had his old AI tune in to the dramatization opera currently being acted out in Scrijjx Opera House. The melody was dark and beautiful and the characters were as well, it made him feel at home and yet enamored.

When Artemis finally woke up, he wondered where the heck he was as he sat up in stretched. In all honestly he felt like shit though didn't know why. Smacking his dry mouth loudly, the teen thumped down the stairs, too groggy to bother hovering about.
In the kitchen he saw Gent's dishes and was glad the male had eaten. Now, for the moment, all Artemis had to worry about was feeding himself.

Gent stared intently at the opera, his eyes widening a bit with the height of the dark musical and more when a fae showed himself to be the key to the mystery. The man’s dark wings flapping slowly as he floated majestically down to his love.
Gent was a sucker for romance even though he knew he’d never have such a thing for himself. Still, he remained watching, his heart beating faster and slower with the emotions of the opera.

Sometimes, Artemis hated being able to sense emotion. At the moment, Gent seemed to be all over the place, suddenly happy and then sad. As this was not usual for most beings, Artemis became concerned and found himself walking to the place where Gent was watching the opera.
"Oi, old man!" Artemis called, knocking on the door. "You okay in there? You're fluctuating weirdly." For all he knew, Gent could be having a heart attack or something.

“Fluctuating?” he snorted. “I am trying to watch a cultural dramatization, boy, now leave me to it!” He glared at the door, annoyed at being disturbed. Turning back to the play, he watched the final moments and gave a brief clap of applause just because the production deserved it.

Artemis flushed in embarrassment and agitation. He had honestly been worried for the male and this was what he want. "Fine. I hope you really do have a heart attack." The teen spat, before turning to stomp outside.

Fiinished with the screening room he made his way outside and down the hall to-
"Artemis! What have you done?!" he said, staring horrified at the new decor in his sitting room.

Artemis ignored the male wholeheartedly. He stayed perched on his tree branch, dozing happily. It's not like he'd done much. What was a few vases full of flowers and nicer drapes to let in the light?

Gent went over and snatched the drapes closed. "Stubborn, ungrateful..." he muttered as he continued remvoing things that didn't belong. "Mouthy chit! And to think I was nice enough..." he went to the kitchen and threw the vases into the sink. "Sleeping all day..."
Finally when he was done with his fit, he stopped up stairs once more and slammed himself in the bed. He couldn't even sit at his window anymore without the damned Fae flying up tp bother him.

Artemis was at his wits end when he discovered the vases. No wonder no one could work with the male! One more tantrum and he was sure he was going to kill something. Not wanting to let Gent win, Artemis fixed all the things. It's not like the male used the room anyways, always skulking in the dark like some boogieman.
Once that was done, the fae ate a quick dinner before going to bed himself. At least...he was until the stench of the wet mattress hit him. He hadn't been in the room all day. Swearing to himself, he headed back to the guest room. It was the only clean bed after all.

Gent waited in the dining room for his dinner. And waited... and waited.... He had heard the Fae in the kictchen and was sure the male would be out with some nourishment soon but as the house went quiet and the lights dimmed to darkness, he knew he was being left on his own.
He was pissed to be sure and his first thought was to call Reggie and demand a replacement but... the thought of the ornery little Fae gone just didn't sit well with him. Why, he wasn;t sure, but it didn't. No, instead he instructed Reggie - upon awakening the man - to give Artemis a lecture and ensure that the boy had his meals ready and waiting with no complaints from here on out.
