"Fallen warrior huh," Al actually eyes his mate for a bit, before giving a light hearted chuckle and taking up a piece of the cakes. "Then open wide, my fallen hero," he was smiling, showing off his pearly whites a bit, while he placed the first powdered covered piece to enter his mates mouth.

Graise couldn't help but laugh as his mate was feeing him. Sitting up, he gave his mate a sugary sweet kiss. "Fate truly knew what it was doing when it paired us my love. I don't think I've ever been so happy."

Was it really so funny? Alphonse didn't see what the joke was, but he smiled anyways, more so after a sudden sugary kiss, making him lick his lips afterward.s He definitely needed to try the funnel cakes before his mate ate them all. "It would seem so," he referred to fate in general pairing them. He could imagine a few people who wouldn't have thought he'd make it so far, mainly his parents.
Just thinking about them irked him though, it seemed forever since he spoke to them, they probably weren't even worried about him. That thought didn't irk him, just was sort of depressing. "This has to be the happiest I've been as well." He agreed, still managing a smile with slightly negative thoughts.

Graise paused and stared at him intently before grasping his hand. "Darling, would you like to go visit your parents? let them see how well you're doing?"

"What?" Al wasn't expecting his mate to bring up his parents. "You seem to read me like a book, don't you?" He had been thinking about them, but he wasn't sure about seeing them. "I don't know..." It wasn't like he didn't want to show them his life turned out great, he just knew how they were, difficult, and would probably end up just upsetting him no matter what he said. He was tempted though, he felt it was worth it, but he wasn't sure about going now.

That was true, and it was more then enough to encourage him to face his parents. "Alright, we'll go then, it's all a matter of when." He'd be able to do it, especially with his mate with him. Even without him he was sure he could do anything with the progress he made.

That was a bit hard to choose, he suppose the sooner the better. "Tomorrow...I don't know about now, I would still like to enjoy the rest of the day with you." He had to work tomorrow though, didn't he. At some point he'd find some time, he'd make this work out.

Alphonse didn't need to be told twice, he bit into his funnel cake, chewed and swallowed, then went on to repeat. He did this, finding the cake disappeared surprisingly fast. It was a shame it was gone, but he could always get more later.
"There," he spoke with some powder covering his lips a bit." He finished, but made a bit of a mess on himself.

Graise laughed and threaded his fingers in his mate's hair, pulling him close to lick the powdered sugar from his lips. "Delicious."

Alphonse couldn't help laughing himself, feeling his lips now moist from his mate getting a taste of them. The sugary confection left over had apparently gotten his attention. "Let's head out now," He was more then ready to go now.
