Loving a Stranger (Nikita/Kira)

Kira frowned. "I mean you no harm. It's just dangerous to be out here in these kinds of storms. Trees fall in this forest all the time...you can stay in the guest house if you'd like."

[clementine]

"No. I don't care." Nikita shook his head fiercely. "I won't come with you." There would be no convincing him. He didn't trust this Zercan, being told that vampires were apparently hated things. He didn't want to stick around to see if that was true or not.

"I'll be fine." He added, hoping the assurance would make the male leave faster.

"Look, I'm telling you--it's not safe out here, and if you get found out here, they'll jail you. It's a violation of property rights and such. Just come get warmed up and you can find your own place to stay. You don't have to follow me even, it's just outside of the treeline and I'll leave the light on." Kira said, the temperature was dropping a bit and the rains were falling harder.

A sudden flash of lightening followed by a roll of thunger made Nikita squeak in a little fear. He was already shivering from the continuing onslaught of rain and had a feeling this male wasn't going to give him any peace.

"Fine." He chattered. "You promise you won't...do anything?"

"Do what?" Kira asked, he already had a boyfriend. What would he want with some random, shivering rogue?

"I will harm you in no way. Come with me." he said, frowning.

[clementine]

"I don't know. Call your authorities or whatever it is you Zercans do." Ninya snapped, finally lowering his weapon. "And you go. I'll follow after you go back into your house." He added, ever suspicious.

Kira turned without another word to the boy, shifting in midstride and padding off to set up the guest house and return to his rooms.

Nikita was rather impressed by the shifting and stood for a moment to watch until Kira was out of sight. Slowly, the halfling gathered his things up, bundling all the items neatly together before heading after the Zercan.

The guest house was easy enough to find and Nikita entered the place slowly. When he saw no one was about and that there was only one entrance, he quickly shut the door and locked it. He halfheartedly toweled himself dry before falling into the narrow bed, exhausted.

Kira was already asleep and come the morning, he headed outside to go for his morning run and maybe check to see if the Majikadai had followed him.

Nikita was holed up in the guest room. He had woken momentarily because he was freezing cold. After piling the bed high with the extra blankets and towels, he burrowed into his makeshift nest, falling asleep again.

Kira saw the little male through the window and continued on his way.

After Kira was gone, Nikita stirred once again. Looking blearily around, he cracked his neck after a tired yawn. Well, it seemed he was still alive at least. Though, it might be better if he left now. After a quick shower, Nikita got dressed and grabbed his things, trying to sneakily exit the guest house unnoticed.

Kira was currently outside training. He may have earned his place in the tribe, but he still liked to train. He was currently shooting at several targets, his arching skills being put to the test. Out of the corner of his eye he saw something move and looked at the male trying to escape. "Going somewhere?" he called.

Nikita froze, crouching slightly as he swung his head towards Kira nervously. "Yeah." He replied, not moving.

"Alright," Kira said with a small smile in the male's direction. "Be safe." he called.
