Loving a Stranger (Nikita/Kira)

"Yummy!" Nikita cooed. "Will you teach me how to cook this?" The halfling asked Shion happily.

Shion smiled, "Of course, little one." he smiled at the cute vampire.

Nikita beamed and happily went about his meal. Sometimes stealing bits of food from Kira's plate.

"Hey!" Kira frowned, playfully, nipping at Niki's shoulder.

Radish stood sometime during the meal and stalked off. It wasn't that the hated his brothers, no, not in the least. He just hated that everyone was happier than he was. But he talked himself out of that mentality, going back to focusing on his new chemical equation.

Nikita giggled, batting at Kira just as playfully before blinking in surprise when Radish just got up and left. "Why did he leave?" The halfling asked.

"Rad's...chronically miserable. All he does is sit and do equations--he's a freaking genius. We've tried to set him up a few times, but the poor kids always come back all crying and stuff." he said, shaking his head.

Shion looked after his son before standing, going to take him a piece of strawberry cheesecake.

"That...doesn't sound good." Nikita replied with a frown. "So he's unhappy cause he's so smart? That doesn't mean he has to be rude though."

"He's unhappy cause he's a dick by nature." Kira said, "No one will put up with him--but he's still only fifteen." he said, shaking his head. "Just a bit younger than you, matter of fact."

"Really?" Nikita asked curiously. "Does that mean you think of me like a brother?" He asked.

Kira looked at Nikita. The beautiful face, curve of his neck, small, sexy body...he cleared his throat and his thoughts.

"Not exactly..." Kira said, biting his full bottom lip,.

[clementine]

Nikita's pout ended. "Good." He said with a nod. "I wouldn't be friends with you anymore if you thought that."

Kira blinked up in surprise. "Why is that?" he asked, blinking in confusion.

Nikita looked at Kira like he was crazy. "Cause I don't like my brother. I don't need any more. Besides, I like you." He nodded as if this logic explained everything.

Kira rose a brow."You like me?" he asked.

[clementine]

Nikita flushed and smiled shyly at Kira. "Well...yes."
