All Oddities Aside [Mina/Oliver]

[clementine]

Oliver scrunched up his nose, looking rather comical. "I don't like clothes." He replied rather petulantly. "They itch. Can you teach me anyways?" Not about wearing clothes, but taking care of animals in general.

"Of course, but I'm sure you'll have to at least wear a loin cloth or something--people here get nervous when they see others...uh, dangle." he said as he sat down to work on a few charts and reports.

Oliver frowned, looking down at his exposed manhood, the useless thing hanging limp between his legs. He gave a long suffering sigh, but wanted to please Mina just the same. "I suppose that'll have to be fine. Where can I get such a thing?" The shifter asked.

"My great-uncle owns a clothing store," Mina suggested, "We can head over there when I close up." he smiled, before blinking as a customer came in. "Please help! My pet was playing and...a transport--" the hysterical female cried.

Mina was up at the look on her face and was already bringing the animal to his table. "Wait here, miss," he said before pulling on a pair of gloves and looking at the broken body, the animal whining in pain.

Mina immediately grabbed several objects, setting about cleaning the wounds and examining the pup.

Oliver shifted then, transforming into a small dog with the same brown-red curly hair. He left Mina and jumped to the woman's lap, trying to comfort her from where she sat. Oliver had a feeling he'd do more harm than good hovering around Mina, so trying to calm a hysterical female was the next best thing.

Mina worked on the animal for hours, having sedated her and setting about sticking and assessing her wounds. She'd live, but she'd need a lot of rather expensive medication for a while.

Mina placed the pup into her own pen before headed back out to the front once he'd washed all the blood from himself.

He told her owner the news, writing a prescription for the puppy, the situation having made him very serious.

Oliver jumped from the woman's lap to let her pay for Mina's services. He didn't like that the male wasn't smiling and whined, scratching at his leg lightly.

Mina looked down at Oliver and smiled a bit before returning to handling his customer. He'd keep her (the dog) in the animal hospital just in case, to monitor her.

Mina sighed as he watched the tearful woman leave and bit his lip. He hated days like this.

Oliver whined against, this time jumping up against Mina's leg. He wanted to male to pick him up so he could cuddle him and make it better. Oli didn't like seeing Minakat's sad face.

Mina chuckled, picking Oliver up, and smiling. He kissed his nose. "I'll still call you Beauty, even though I know your name." Mina grinned, putting him down.

Oliver growled at the nickname before he was cuddling up against Mina, licking every part of the male's face he could get too. The shifter was glad his Mina was smiling again and he waggled his little curly tail in happiness.

Mina shook his head and placed the Jshiko on the ground again, laughing. He got ready to close up, yawning as he called the animal hospital and the night watch nurse to come in.

Oliver shifted back to human form, pleased that Mina was laughing. He stuck to the male's side like a silent shadow, watching Mina putter about.

Mina sighed. "Alrighty then, naked friend of mine--let's go." he smiled.

[clementine]

"I like being naked!" Oliver announced regally as he followed Mina out. "You should be naked too. You'll like it I bet." He announced seriously.
