The male's smile was rather stunning, but when he heard the language Mina sighed in relief. "Thank the Goddess," he grinned. "I'm Minakat of the Oiye clan--descendant of Crat'ka the Great and the Rising Pheonix. Nice to meet you." He grinned. "Now, could you repeat what you said before, language barrier out of the way?" he asked.

Oliver's eyes widened in surprise, both from Mina's handsome expression and his origins. "I know of the Oiye clan. You have a very strong ancestry Minakat." He was about to say more when the disgruntled customer cleared his throat.
"I'm sorry to interrupt," he wasn't, "but could you possible get my pet sometime in this century please?" Oliver just glared at the male, the boy's face paling slightly.

Mina blinked, blushing a bit. "One moment?" he asked Oliver, before turning to the irate customer.
"Sorry about that." He beamed, unperturbed by the male's attitude. "I'll bring Giro out right now," he smiled warmly, before going to fetch a snowy colored large bird with spiked, brightly colored feathers. The animal was perched quite happily on Mina's shoulder, preening.
"She's right as rain, though I wouldn't let her fly for at least another week and a half. I've already given your her prescription, just make sure you only feed her the medicine every two to three hours, when she's not asleep." Mina instructed, handing over the bird, who screeched a bit at being taken from Mina.

The customer managed to soothe the bird enough to be able to take him away without harming him. He had listened to Mina's instructions, gave an actual smile of gratitude, and bolted out of the office quickly as he grumbled something about naked male's being unsanitary.
Oliver just watched the person scamper away and turned back to Mina. "The animals seem to like you." He commented with a quiet curiousness.

"Cause I treat them like people. Not like animals." he grinned, before scribbling something down on a clipboard, humming again.

Oliver scratched his stomach thoughtfully for a moment as he listened to the sweet humming. "So...you are an animal doctor. A vet...er, whatever it's called?" He asked.

"Veternarian. I'm guessing you're my fox from last night?" he asked the extreemly tall male as he looked over what looked to be a very very small horse.

"Yes, that's me!" Oliver grinned suddenly, peering at the mini creature over Mina's shoulder. He reached out over the vet's shoulder and gently patted the creature's nose. It whickered in response and the shifter hummed back in delight.
"Thanks for saving me." He said again. "I don't know what would have happened without you Minakat."

Mina smiled at the jibon's reaction. Ortho never liked anyone. He smiled at the ridiculously tall Jshiko, and shook his head. "It was right to do, and just Mina's fine. All my friends call me Mina--well...they would call me Mina--if I had many. My family does," He grinned. He did tend to be a bit much for other people to handle sometimes, so they generally avoided him.

The knowledge of Mina's not having many friends didn't sit well with Oliver and he frowned. "I'll be your friend then Mina." He replied without hesitation, easily kissing the top of the male's head. "We'll be best friends." And that...was that.

Mina blinked, blushing at the male's kiss. "Um...okay." he said, confused, as he continued to treat Ortho. When he was done he yawned, moving to the next pen, humming another song.

Feeling rather good about how things were going at the moment, Oliver left Mina's side, walking like some nude Adonis through the room as he looked over all the animals. He petted and cooed over most, the creatures sensing that he was like them.

Mina watched the male as he interacted with the animals, smiling a bit.
"Hey...Oliver." he said after a moment. "How'd you like a job here?" he asked, smiling his usual smile.

Oliver looked up from where he was squatting down and cocked his head. "I don't know anything about how to treat wounds." He replied honestly.

Mina smiled. "Then I'll teach you." he said with a grin. "But you'll have to wear clothes. You'll scare my customers off." he said good naturedly.
