"Cool," Cherub said. Though he'd had some water, he cold feel the thirst at the back of his throat. He really needed a decent feed soon.

Not known of Cherub's little problem, Adeline happily led him down the street. He'd never gone food shopping with a friend before and was glad to have the company. "I hope you know what the ingredients are, because I sure don't." The teen chirped happily.

"Yeah," Cherub replied tapping the side of his head, "got it all up here. There's not that many ingredients.

"Okay." Adeline nodded, thinking Cherub was rather smart as they walked into the store. The teen headed to where Cherub's ingredients would be.

Cherub grabbed a bag of over large tortillas, a block of mexican goat cheese and a block of normal cheese, got some salsa, and went to the vegetable aisle to get some peppers. "Okay, I'm good. Anything else you want?"

Adeline shook head. "Nope. I'm good on snacks and stuff." The teen knew basic cooking but it was going to be exciting to see what Cherub made out of all the ingredients.
With no more shopping to do, the duo headed over to the cash registers to pay. Adeline made sure to whip out his wallet first so Cherub couldn't pay. The teen was still a little touchy from earlier.

Cherub frowned at Adeline paying, but only said as they left, "You'll have to take pay out of my check for rent, okay."

Surprisingly, Adeline just scowled and said nothing on the matter. He didn't even think of doing such a thing. Cherub was in need after all and he was just helping the fellow out.
"Sure thing." The teen finally smiled, but it was a lie as they headed back into the flower shop and up to the apartment.

"And I'll cook for you and stuff, sound good," Cherub offered looking for a place to put the food down.

"That sounds good to me." Adeline chirped, motioning for Cherub to set the bags on the small kitchen counter. "I should have all the cooking stuff you need. It's all pretty much brand new." He added with a laugh.

"I'd say," Cherub said pulling out a flat pan that still had a sticker on it. He took the sticker off and put the pan on the stove. "You hungry now or wait a few hours?"

Adeline laughed at the sticker pulling. "I can eat now." He replied, going over to bounce on his mattress. There weren't any chairs in the room after all. The teen settled himself, getting ready to watch Cherub in action.

Cherub placed a tortilla on the pan warming it before plopping down slices of the normal cheese and crumbling a mound of the mexican cheese. Once that started to melt, he mixed the slasa and already diced peppers before pouring that on the tortilla, topping that with more cheese and another large tortilla. With ease, he flipped it and waited for the other side to warm before placing it on a plate and cutting it into little triangles. "Wha la," he said presenting the finished product to Adeline.

Adeline clapped, taking the plate from Cherub. "That ws so easy." He explained, even knowing he would habe burnt the food himself. "Thank you." He added before taking a huge bite out of the cheesy triangle, humming in pleasure at the taste.

"It's not too spicey is it, I tried to use peppers that weren't as hot as what I would usually use," Cherub said.
