The sirens suddenly blared in the far off distance. Cherub dropped the girl he was snaking on and cursed. Why did they have to come and raid this party? Rubbing a hand through his short platinum hair, Cherub sighed. "Well, seems I got to get out of here," he said to himself and took a running leap at the roof of a building landing on it gracefully and starting to run. He couldn't affor to get run out of another town, he was starting to run out of good places to party.

When it was late at night and Adeline found that he couldn't sleep, he would sometimes go down into the shop and start arranging flowers. Tonight was no different. He was in the middle of making a wonderful design involving red roses and forget-me-nots when he heard the sirens. This in itself wasn't unusual as the red-light district and the party district were just a few streets over.
Adeline wanted to ignore the sirens but they seemed to be getting closer. With a sigh of insatiable curiosity, the teen set aside his tools and made his way outside to into the crisp air. He stood there on the sidewalk, he cocked as he looked at the red and blue lights of the police. Probably another rave gone wrong.

Once Cherub felt that the police cars were a good distance away, he stopped and rested on top of a building sighing. His stomach growled a little and he sat up ruffling his hair. "Shit, I didn't get enough blood from that girl," he said sniffing around. There was a floral smell surrounding him and Cherub crawled to the edge of the roof and looked down to see the sign indicating he was sitting ontop of a Flower shop.

Adeline had his hands on his hips, simply standing there until the lights faded into the distance. Giving a shiver, he headed back inside. It was stupid to be standing outside so late at night and he had to wonder why he had done it. Shaking his head, he made sure that the front door was lock after he headed in.
After making sure that the flowers were back in the fridge, the teen flicked off the store lights and headed to the apartment that was over the shop. His aunt and uncle had let him live in the small flat after he had begged them for some independence. It got rather lonely at night, but Adeline didn't mind. He liked living by himself.

Cherub caught movement below him and saw a fairly pretty person walk back into the shop. He jumped down after they'd locked it and stared at the front door for a few moments. "Hmm, I think I'll visit here tomorrow, it smells nice," he said sticking his hands in his pockets and whistling as he made his way away.

Unknowing of the stranger outside, Adelina settled down for the night. The next day, he opened up the shop early like usual. All the flowers were out and sparkling with water in the early morning light. The teen was already working away at the days new flower arrangements as the first couple of customers trickled in, making orders.

Cherub didn't have a home. Usually, he just snuck into a hotel or found a place that was abandoned. If he stayed in the city longer than a couple weeks, then Cherub went looking for an apartment or something to stay in and maybe a job. He'd only been in this city a week and was wondering whether he was going to leave or stay when he walked into the flower shop. He suppose it depended on the cute person he saw yesterday.
Cherub walked around the shop looking at things intently hoping the little cutey would come ask him if he needed help.

Adeline was laughing at the jokes of a flirting older man as he finished the arrangement. "I'll be with you in a moment." The teen's sweet voice called the moment the bell of the door chimed. Finally he was handing the flowers over to the man and biding him goodbye.
"Can I help you with anything?" Adeline asked politely, heading over to the new customer. The teen couldn't help but think how stunning the man was and blushed in embarrassment. He wished he's done his hair this morning. At the moment it was pulled back in a messy tail.

Cherub turned out the cute voice and smiled. The person was really cute and he could plainly see it was a guy now, which was good because Cherub found it hard to flirt around with girls as they were usually not interested in space. "Well, you see, I'm having trouble looking for a flower that's as pretty as you, but there just doesn't seem to be any comparison."

Adeline's smile faltered at the male's words and he blushed crimson. "O-oh?" He stuttered awkwardly, trying to figure out what to do. Flustered, the teen started to tick of flowers. "How about some lilies or carnations? W-who are y-you betting flowers for?" Adeline tried to calm himself and was failing. It was probably because he thought this person was much to handsome for his own good.

Cherub looked around. "Hmm, no, the flowre I'd have to pick would have to be you," he said and stuck out a hand in gretting. "I'm Cherub Neon, your name, pretty flower?"

Adeline laughed nervously, serving only to make himself look even more adorable. Tentatively he took Cherub's. "Adeline Wroth." The teen replied in greeting, having a hard time meeting Cherub's eyes and keeping his lashes lowered.

"Nice to meet you, Adeline," Cherub said grinning stunningly. "How would you like to go on a date with me?"

Adeline's amber eyes went wide and if possible, he turned even more red at Cherub's dazzling smile. "W-well n-now I d-don't know." He stuttered, too startled to do much else. Suddenly, the bell over the door rang.
"I'm sorry. I have to work." Adeline pulled away and nearly ran to the new customer with a sigh of relief. People usually weren't so forward!

Cherub rubbed at his head a little put down then shrugged and put his headphones on his ears walking out of the store and seating on a bench he found. This boy was interesting, so he'd stick around, but that meant he needed a job and somewhere to stay. Hmm, where to work? Cherub grinned when he saw the flower shop's sign.
