Darius smiled softly, leaning up to kiss Sonny lightly. *Perhaps.* He whispered. *But not yet* He could barely handle the relationship with Sonny, let alone that of a mother. Sighing a little, Darius moved from Sonny's embrace to put the now sleeping baby back securely in its crib. Darius looked at the baby a moment longer wondering if he really did want children.

Suddenly, one of the toddlers pulled at Sonny's sleeve and he looked down at him.
"Is that your mate, uncle Sonny?" he asked, his twin shyly taking steps closer to Darius.
"Yes," Sonny asnwered. "Why do you inquire?"
"He's pretty, can we play with him," said his nephew beside him while his twin pulled lightly on Darius' arm.
"Will you play with us?" asked the twin.

Darius flushed with pleasure at the first twin's comment before he felt a tug on his arm. He turned, squatting down to the toddler's level. *If you like.* Darius said kindly, ruffling the blue hair gently. *Is it okay Sonny?*

"I suppose I can't have you to myself all the time," Sonny responded teasingly and lightly pushed the twin that was still standing next to him toward Darius before taking a seat close to the baby crib to watch his nephews and mate play.
"Let's play tag," inquired the twin that had approached Darius. The other twined nodded and turned to Darius. "You're it," he said before they both switched into small blue kittens.
"Their barer is a Zercan," Sonny said in explanation.

Darius laughed delightedly when the boy's turned into cute fuzzy kittens. *I've never seen one before.* He said in awe as he chased the closest tumbling kitten. Seemed he hadn't seen a lot of things.
The Fae pounced on one of the twins, tickling the furry body with nimble fingers. *Have I gotten you?* He asked playfully.

The kitten mewed in protest of getting caught and turned back into his human form while his twin batted at Darius feet before jumping away taunting him to catch him.
Sonny just laughed and started rocking the crib in which his baby newphew lay.

Darius whirled around to try and catch the other kitten, fingers just brushing the stubby little tale. The Fae smiled in excitement as he reached underneath a chair that the kitten hard darted under, trying to grab him through his giggling.

Sonny chuckled at the sight of his mate crawling around the floor darting after fuzzy blue kittens. He thought it was cute.
The kitten hissed playfully at Darius before running away and tackling his twin in the process. Both rolled away and into a wall stunned for a moment before they started to cry in their human form.

Darius frowned, worried, as he made his way to the twins. He drew them both into his arms to comfort them. *It's okay.* He rocked them gently as if it was the most natural thing in the world. *Don't cry.* He kissed their teary faces, urging them to stop.

The twins both sniffed comforted by Darius and buried their heads into Darius' shoulders. Sonny had been worried about his newphews but quickly calmed back down seeing Darius was doing fine with them. Just the seeing such a site made him love his mate even more.

Darius patted the top of the twins' heads. *There now.* He soothed. *All better?* The Fae looked at Sonny as nearly gasped at the look in his mate's eyes. He flushed, looking away. No one but Sonny had ever look at him like that! Darius couldn't help but smile to himself.

The twins nodded and climbed out of Darius' arms yawning in unison. Sonny stood up and pulled out two mats from a closet for the twins to sleep on. "It's their nap time," he told Darius, "we should leave them."
The twins grabbed onto Darius in protes. "No, we want you two to lay with us."
Sonny smiled and turned to Darius in question.

Darius gave the twins an indulgent look before nodding to Sonny. *I'm a little tired anyway.* He said, moving towards where the twins would be sleeping, giving into the tugging. He'd rest with them, if only for a little while
