He was excited....very excited. There was a festival being held...well he thought it was a festival anyway, point being it was a fun place to be! and he was allowed! He couldnt believe his parents had actually let him go! Walking down the street he had a big smile on his face, showing his happiness. He was greeted by many people who knew him and returned their greetings with a happy enthusiastic wave of the hand.
This day he wore what he considered his special outfit. A black sleeveless tank cut to show his well formed stomach, white lowcut baggy pants with a studded belt around his waist, fingerless leather gloves over fishnetted mesh that went to the middle of his upper arms and his favorite black boots. Topping this all off was a sleeveless trench coat with a fur trimmed collar that he left open. His hair was in a loose braid and his bangs were left to fly free.
Stepping up to the entrance he paid the fee before going in, excited to beable to attend such an event.

Gabriel told himself again and again not to sigh...but it was hard when you were standing on a stage facing a huge man holding a sword with nothing but your fists. The mage wasn't sure how he had gotten wrangled into this particular side show, but he was here now and regretting it.
A man in a top hat was shouting at the top of his voice to "come see the magnificent display of skill and speed". The man was Jack, Gabe's old friend who had bullied him into the open air show. This particular show was to start off a string of further performances and challenges that people could participate in during the festival, being able to win prizes later on.
A sigh managed to escape Gabriel's parted lips as he rolled his neck in a bored manner. He was wearing nothing but a pair of blue pants that were sheer save for a dark swatch of fabric over his groin. The clothes were mirrored by the muscle man across from him. Wasn't the light weight versus the heavy weight a little overdone? He rolled his eyes. He would laugh at anyone who stopped by to watch.

He had come across this show, head tilted in curiousity. He wasnt about to enter it but that didnt mean he couldnt be curious as to what they were doing though he did find himself briefly wondering why anyone would wear such a ridiculous looking piece of clothing.....didnt slaves where clothing like that?
He shrugged, settling into a spot to watch what was going to happen, odds were if it bored him he would leave, he never stayed with anything that didnt catch his interest.

"Oi, Gabe!" Jorge hissed, Gabriel's opponent, hissed. "Try not to look so bored. You'll ruin the act." The mage merely shrugged and rolled his eyes. That's right. The entire thing was a hoax to lure people onto the stage to fight Jorge. If the audience saw how easy it was to beat the huge male then contenders would surely come calling. It always worked. Instant money maker really. No one ever beat Jorge.
So, with that in mind, the act begun after much cajoling from Jack. A rather large crowd gathered to watch, some having paid to sit in seats. After that, it was all mechanical. The fight seemed real but was all acted out...at least until the last bit.
Gabe's attention wavered for a moment as his eye caught sight of a boy with red hair. Distracted, Jorge actually punched Gabe full in the face. The mage reacted on instinct, sending Jorge flying off the stage into the crowd below with a single swipe of his leg. He stood stall, panting as he rubbed the blood off his face while Jack tried to do damage control. Oops.

Just as he thought, it hadnt interested him, he could tell the difference between an real fight and a planned one. He hadnt left though, wanting to see the bring outcome of a boring set up. He blinked in surprize though as the unexpected happened. Green eyes watched the outcome. His head tilted before shrugging and exiting the tent, moving off to look into another attraction he thought would interest him.
One thing was for sure though, even if nothing here interested him he would enjoy his freedom while it lasted.

Gabriel escaped Jack's ranting, leaving the show to Jorge. The mage sneaked out the back flap of the tent to cool down. The stupid gauzy pants were driving him out of his nut. He looked around to see if anyone was coming before stripping down to his skin. Throwing the pants to the ground in a wade of silk.
He stood at the water flask at the back, wanting to clean himself up. No one comes in the back, he thought as he doused himself in cold water until his blond hair was soaked.

He had actually managed to find a few things that he liked! Hed even one a few things too. His favorite was the animal show, the ringleader would bring out various animals and do tricks with them, the variety was wide too. Hed even been lucky enough to win a rare gem necklace though hed have that in itself tested just to be sure when he got home. He usually didnt much care for jewelry but he liked this piece, it was a studded choker type thing with gems that matched his eyes.

Feeling refreshed, Gabriel changed into a pair of tightly fitted jeans and a simple white button down shirt. He pulled his wavy hair into a horse tail at the back of his neck before heading out into the crowd. Most of the vendors knew him and greeted him. Once even called him over.
"Heard you fucked up the show." The vendor smirked.
"Eh, what can I say?" Elios shrugged. "Saw this really hot guy and I got distracted. Seen anybody with red hair wandering around?" He asked.

"As a matter of fact I have" The man smirked "He won the jeweled choker off the wits game....last time I seen him he was working the bell, little reds got strength" He snickered.
and indeed he was, everytime he hit the thing it resulted in a loud 'ding'. He had already one his prize and now he was doing it because people bet that he couldnt do it so many times in a row.

Gabriel smiled at the information, nodding to the vendor before walking off. He joined the crowd to watch the kid. He really was strong! Gabriel was amazed that such a small body packed such a powerful punch.
"Oi! Switch to the the heavier mallet!" The mage called teasingly as the bets kept coming.

And it was switched in easily though even then it didnt seem to deter his determination, panting lightly and sweating abit though not enough to ruin his clothes. He ended the bets himself, after all one did get tired. However he managed to complete every bet made, earning him his cash.

Gabriel laughed along with the crowd as everyone came in to pat the kid on the back in friendliness. The mage did the same. "Nice going red." He praised. "Heard you won that collar too. Smart and strong. My hero." He joked.

He was leaning on the hammer, catching his breath even as he gave the taller male a flat look "Dont call me that....." That said he took his earned cash and prize, walking off to find a foodstand, he was very hungry after that, thirsty aswell...his sweet tooth was also bugging him for something sugary.

"Hey! Wait a minute." Gabriel called, chasing after the boy. "Why don't you tell me your name? Or do I have to continue on with my sweet nothings?" He said with a laugh. If anything, Luke could get a free meal out of the mage. "You were pretty amazing you know."

He didnt slow, merely kept walking. Ignoring him it seemed. He didnt know nor could he understand why the guy was following him at all. He just wanted something to eat that was all, was that so hard? Eventually he found a food thing, looking at what was available before ordering something.
