Family background: He is the son of a wealthy American ambassador that married a soft spoken Japanese woman. He grew up in Japan, losing his mother at an early age. His father is rather demanding that his son always behave in the proper manner, informing him that appearances are all that matters. As an act of rebellion against his father, who continually pushes his son to excel, he changed his surname from that of his father, Neuman, to the maiden one his mother. He is rather fed up with keeping up the image of the perfect ambassador’s son and is looking for a way to escape the pressures of his father and society.
Appearance: In appearance he took mainly after his mother and his Japanese heritage. He is very small in build, barely reaching 5”1. He has shaggy medium length black hair cut short in the front and grown long in the back which is a point of contention between him and his father. It is not a ‘proper’ hairstyle. The only characteristic inherited from his father, are his beautiful dark blue eyes that stand out among the Japanese people. His clothing is rather reserved, formal. Not by choice of course. It is what is expected of him and should he be found in anything else there will be hell to pay. They are useful in hiding one or two other little signs of rebellion, however. A belly button ring and a small tattoo low down on the side of his back.
Personality: Extremely reserved and formal of course. At least officially. Unofficially? No one knows. The formality has so been drilled into him that he never allowed himself to have nor express his own individuality. Excluding the change of name, piercing and tattoo of course, but everyone is allowed an occasional moment of insanity, ne?
