Family background: Son of an Irish catholic woman and a French-canadian catholic man, Randy was raised to be a fervent catholic. It's too bad he's gay. Not that he'd ever tell his parents who think that he's something special to have been born on Christmas day. He's the middle son of five, all boys. His oldest brother is the family outcast, also gay and living in Montreal's Gay Village with his boyfriend of five years. They don't talk about him often...
Appearance: Randy has his mother's green eyes and his father's black hair. He's short for his age, something his father disapproves of and his older brother teases him about. Sarandon hates brand names so wears old, used clothing, generally passed down from his older brothers, or found in small thrift shops. His skin tans when he's out in the sun, which isn't often. Hey, with winters like there are in Montreal, you wouldn't go out most of the year either....
Personality: Quiet and withdrawn. He doesn't quite fit in at school and makes no effort to. He doesn't talk about himself much, mostly to avoid getting anyone suspicious. He is rather docile, especially when it comes to pleasing his parents. He is a born doormat, though he occasionally shows sparks of temper.
Other points of interest: He wishes that he got along better with his parents. Really he does. But they have a preconceived image of what their darling christmas-born son is like and he'd hate to pop their bubble, so he is a bit distant.
