Stars littered the night sky, winking like diamonds from behind the clouds. The sun had gone down hours ago, leaving the world enveloped in a quiet darkness. Hardly any light was given from the small sliver of the waning moon, leaving only glimpses of true light across the shadows. All was silent and still as if anticipating some sort of momentous event. The night seemed to hold its breath, while the planet Earth waited for an inevitable impact.
A ripple flowed across the sky as if someone had tossed a pebble into the inky depths. There was a bright flash of light that a true comet could never hope to achieve, followed by a muffled sonic boom as something sleek and brilliant penetrated the layers of atmosphere. The small, pod-like thing, raced like a bullet towards Earth, leaving in its wake a burst of blue fire and dark smoke. Broken and unable to be steered, the pod hurtled into the ground only moments after it had broke through the layers of the planet’s atmosphere. The sound of impact occurred after the pod was buried, nose first, into soft soil.
Silence reigned once again and was only broken now by the muffled cries of a small child. The crying became louder as a dark figure broke from the confines of the escape pod. Kobe cuddled the little prince closer to his chest as he moved from the remains of the unsalvageable vessel. The Zercan captain knew that they were not safe yet. The wooded area where they had crashed was much too open. He had to get to safety and tend to Prince Ferris’ wounds and his own. Kobe knew that the quiet night offered only a small reprieve. They would be coming, and very shortly too. The captain knew this.
Staggering over the uneven ground that the impact had caused, Kobe raced towards an unknown destination. Blood seeped sluggishly down his leg, being readily soaked up by the light fabric of his tight body suit. His sword, clinging to his back, was rubbing against his wounds painfully. However, the male ignored this, making soft hushing noises to calm a frantic and still crying Ferris. The child was too young to have gone through what he had. Kobe would have wished the chaos away if he could but it would do no good. He had to keep his mind on the present. He had no idea if the King and Queen were still alive or not. His only objective was to keep the Prasidions from killing his precious prince.
Beams of artificial light from towering lamp poles broke apart the darkness of a quiet suburban street. Kobe blinked, momentarily stunned, as he tried to regain his night vision. A little disoriented from seeing black spots dance in front of his eyes, he hurried down the streets as he kept to the shadows, avoiding the pools of yellow light whenever he could. Panting for breath, mouth open, Kobe huddled in the shadow of a cluster of tall buildings, pausing as he listened for the horrible clicking voices of his enemy.
When he was met with silence, Kobe sighed a little loudly. He needed to get higher, to a place where he could see his attackers coming while he waited for dawn. After that he didn’t know what. He’d just have to keep moving.
Kobe spotted what looked to be a set of stairs that climbed up the side of the closest building’s walls. Without hesitation, he clambered up the rickety fire escape without making a sound. The top was reached quickly and he squatted down on the matted metal as he protectively curled around Ferris. The stucco wall was to his back, a solid form of safety. It was one less side he had to protect himself against. Blue eyes darted right to left to front, straining to see any movement. Save for the rustling of the closed curtains behind the window to his right, he could discern no movement. The captain waited, tense and ready for whatever was coming to greet him before the dawn came.

Leonardo wasn't sure what time it was by the time he found himself finishing his current work of art. He at the moment was standing in a room he had set aside for his art. The last thing he needed was a messy sleeping environment. He found he couldn't possibly keep a place messy even if he wanted to. When he saw something in his home that was messy he had to clean it. He didn't have to now but it had become a sort of habit over the years and he didn't imagine he could shake it. Well, it was that and he wasn't sure he cared enough to. It wasn't like it was a bad thing so he barely spared it a thought. What he needed to focus on now was what he was going to do now.
Now that he was done he needed to get cleaned up. That was a good way to start things off. The last thing he wanted to do was get paint or anything else for that matter all over the place.
It was with that thought Leo left his painting where it was and went to wash up in the bathroom. Even with all his cleaning in there it seemed the bathroom sink was forever dyed a multi of colors. All what he assumed was left back from the months of painting and cleaning up. Then again he supposed that he hadn't tried hard enough to clean them. It was something he considered as he stared down into the sink with sapphire blue orbs that seemed to reluctantly wander towards the mirror.
When he saw him done the clothes he wore when he painted. Some old white shirt, well not old at all, that he wasn't afraid to get mess. It had quite a few marks made by some form of art. Mainly paint. That was what it seemed like he worked with more often then not. Not that he didn't work with other things but that wasn't what he had all over his person or rather in traces as it could be called in his case. After he was done here he figured he would go back and look at his finished artwork. There wasn't much else to do at the moment besides that.
Leonardo was still thinking over the things by the time he left the bathroom and headed back to the room he used for art. Really, this was just something to do to past the time. Not so much the finishing his art but just looking at it. He more so enjoyed doing it then anything else. He was very well considering what to do when he stopped in the room with all his art. Canvases were here and there. Some filled and some empty. He just took a brief look about before focusing on the painting he had finished with.
It was awfully...colorful. That was how he would think to word it. There were different colors here and there, sort of at random. If asked he couldn't really say how he figured out what to put where. He never really thought about it. Well, most of the time. But all the same he always found it something he was able to loose himself in. Considering that perhaps he needed to do more then wash his hands. He supposed it was back to the bathroom now. He didn't linger about the room and longer as he decided to take a quick bath to get out of the messy clothes he wore.
Before doing so he made a quick stop to his room. There he picked up another pair of clothes to put on. He knew he could always pick out something after but he had his reasons for not feeling comfortable walking around with simply a towel on. Even though he lived by himself.
It took really a minute or so to go in and out of his room as he picked up what he needed and headed straight back to the bathroom. Now he was going to be quick about this. Lingering about in the shower wasn't something he did unless he was tired or was in a certain mood. Today he just wanted to get clean and head back to his room.
He could relax a bit there. He really didn't have anything he needed to do now. He could cook if he wanted to but he wasn't exactly hungry now and he refused to cook out of habit. If he was going to do anything it was going to be because he wanted to. With that in mind he brushed the thought aside.
Especially as he got into the bathroom where he headed straight towards the shower coming to strip only after setting the close down that he would be wearing and after turning on the water. After he went straight in to take a quick shower. Which was exactly what he did. He imagined he spent about ten minutes or so in the bathroom before he finished and went to turn off the water. He really didn't think to linger about here.
Getting dressed after drying off was something he did right away. Leo was sure to put up the towel he used and put the clothes he just had on to wash. Something that took a little walk to the wash or laundry room. He wasn't going to just leave them around to pile up so he went ahead and dumped them in the washing machine. It was only after that he went off to his bedroom. It was relatively cool here and he figured that was due to the window.
He couldn't exactly see if it was open now with the curtains but he figured it to be that still. It wasn't something he cared to think on. He just found himself sitting on his bed in his pretty much less then filled room. All he had in it were the basic things. He had a bed, a dresser, a little table by the bed he placed an alarm clock on, and a desk with a computer on it. He would call that pretty much nothing special. Though he had a few things on the wall.
Perhaps his room wasn't less then filled but he wasn't minding what was inside the white room. He always considered painting it but never went through with it. He couldn't say why. He never thought into it. He didn't care to. There might have been a reason behind it. But if there was that didn't matter now as he came to lay across the bed in his room and just stared up at the ceiling. He figured he would take a nap now maybe. He really wasn't sure if he would though. It was at least something he felt he could do now.

The sudden wash of pale yellow light through the windows curtains was startling. Kobe jumped nearly out of his space suit, growling in the back of his throat softly before he could stop himself. The lion knew he was way too tense, knowing that it would do him no good if he got all kinked up from sitting defensively for so long. Maybe the Prasidions wouldn’t find him. Maybe the sun would come up before that happened, scaring the nocturnal creatures off. Kobe eased down against the wall until he was sitting more comfortably against it. Who was he kidding? It was only a matter of time before those bastards found him.
A shuddering wisp of breath escaped him. The toddler in his arms fussed and the big male shushed Ferris, making soothing noises that sounded suspiciously like a purr. Prince or no, how could anyone think to harm such a precious little baby? Kobe smiled wryly to himself. What was he thinking? The Prasidions were evil to the core. What was a child to the domination of the universe? Thankfully, the prince calmed once again, burrowing deep against his protectors chest until only the back of his head was seen with its tuft of aqua hair. It seemed the boy thought nothing of it. Good.
In a suddenly violent movement, the image of the street that Kobe was looking down on wrenched almost in half just as two beings settled into existence there. The street was calm, exactly the same a moment before, save for the insidious creatures that the tremor had left behind.
They had found them, while teleporting directly to the Earth‘s surface. It came as no surprise, but Kobe shuddered nonetheless. He could hear them talking in their foreign speech, clicking and whirring like the devil himself. The captain understood none of it, but knew that whatever was being said wasn’t good. Every instinct told him to flee, to get as far away from the enemy as possible. It would do no good though. They would keep coming after him. Kobe knew that if he killed these two, only more would come, like a plague of locusts.
Kobe had a decision to make. It was simple. Fight or flee. The minutes ticked by as the lion warred with himself. However it seemed that Ferris made the decision for him. The child suddenly cried out in a loud wail, a high pitched noise that could wake the dead. As if in slow motion, the bug-like heads of the Prasidions turned to Ferris’ cries. Their lolloping gait soon began a full out run. Panting with the adrenaline rush that Kobe’s body supplied him, he set Ferris down inside as empty planter box that jutted out from the window.
Ferris was crying loudly now, panicked and afraid as if knowing what was to occur. Not caring what the humans saw or heard, Kobe left Ferris, leaping straight off the fire escape. Midair, he drew his sword in a sifting of glinting metal. With a deep bellowing roar, Kobe faced the two Prasidions, fighting with the fury that he was known for. His mind was blank, nothing penetrated it except for the deep desire to protect Ferris. He had to kill the vile beasts in front of him. The sound of claws and metal rang through the night air as the lion desperately tried to do the one thing he hated so much. Kill.
The battle was fierce, Kobe tried to hold off the two as best he could. He thought he was succeeding, until one of the Prasidions block him while its brother dashed to where the still crying Ferris was.
“NO!” Kobe snarled. In a movement quicker than he had ever achieved before, he cleaved the bug-like body of the Prasidion in two. The insubstantial creature, now dead, turned into nothing more than a pile of dust. The was the only good thing about the creatures. Kobe never had to worry about a body when he killed one. With his first foe dead, the captain sprinted towards Ferris in a ground eating run. He could see where the second Prasidion was scaling the wall of the building like some grotesque spider. The thing was almost to Ferris!
The lion, with his running start, leapt high into the air, scrabbling against the stucco walls for purchase. In a last attempt to stop Ferris was being taken, Kobe flung himself at the Prasidion. His well muscled body impacted with the hard exoskeleton of his enemy, sending them both careening into the window he had thought closed. Kobe clipped his shoulder against the side of the window pane, sending glass scattering everywhere. He vaguely registered that he was in a bedroom of some sorts. The sudden introduction of light into his world, left his practically blind and he had no clue if there was someone around or not. Or even if there were object in his way. Kobe only continued to fight against the Prasidion. The growls and buzzing of the squeamish were punctuated with Ferris’ cries. Finally, Kobe saw his opening. When the Prasidion bit into his upper arm with its pincer-like mouth, the lion swung his sword in a high arc, lobbing off the creatures head.
Panting and shaking, Kobe crouched on what he thought to be carpet as the Prasidion was reduced to nothing but dust. He gripped his upper arm, trying to staunch the now freely flowing blood. He barely heard Ferris in the distance, but his mind wavered from exhaustion. He paused for a moment, head bent over the dust of his conquest as he tried to regain his waning strength.

Leo wasn't sure how long he had been staring up at the ceiling now. Just laying across his bed and staring up at nothing. He was sort of lost in thought and then not so much. He really wasn't thinking about anything, not minding anything, but he seemed lost in that. He might have started to drift off to sleep. He would have. But he found the once long silence he had been enjoying, besides the noises he made which was nothing other then his breathing, was shattered just like that. At least he noted that there was something going on. Something going on right outside his window or on the ground floor at least. It was enough to make him sit up. But he did nothing more then that. Although he was curious he didn't feel the need to look out and witness anything. No, he was better off right where he was. Besides he didn't imagine anything really happening around here so it probably was nothing. That's what he told himself.
Suddenly sitting crossed legged, on the bed he had yet to remove himself from, he found his sapphire blue gaze locked on the window. He felt tempted but wary at the same time. More the latter then the first. He would have shrugged it all off but then he heard crying. Crying that sounded like a child. But what could possibly be going on out there! He didn't see why all of a sudden something was happening. He had hopes that he wouldn't have to be the one to do anything. He felt he should move but he found himself rooted to the spot. He didn't quite understand why. Perhaps it was for the best but he couldn't really just do nothing if someone was in danger. Well, more specifically if a child was in danger. He couldn't consciously turn away from any sort of problem like that. If only someone else could come and do something about it. Someone other then him.
Now Leo wouldn't think to call himself something of a coward but he felt that way now. He felt he should have jumped up to do something but here he found himself hesitant. Far more then he would have liked. He knew at that moment he was frowning, still rooted in the same spot and wasn't quite sure what to think. He just seemed to be drawing one big blank for some reason and he still didn't understand why. However, it wasn't long before he found it was actually a good thing he seemed frozen in place. For one moment he was trying to figure out why he wasn't doing anything and the next he found that if he had he might have been in the way of whoever or whatever it was that suddenly came thorough his window.
It happened so quickly. Leonardo found his gaze widened and he quickly back up against the wall his bed was perched by. Now maybe he should have considered running away but his mind wasn't processing everything as he thought it should. But right now it would have been helpful. It wasn't everyday something like this happened. Where some man, he could tell that much, and some thing, it was definitely a Thing, were fighting. He at least thought that was what was going on. Well, it was noted, not so much thought on. He was lucky to even get movement from himself let alone think about doing anything. It was just an automatic reaction to distance himself from whatever was going on. Something he could see would have seriously gotten himself hurt. But still in the background he heard the crying and while a part of him was lost to whatever this was before him he still felt the to do something. He simply hoped the child wasn't injured.
It was bad enough when Leo had just been sitting frozen on his bed but now he was frozen against the wall. Not any better really. He found his gaze couldn't seem to turn away from the man who suddenly appeared to kill whatever that thing was and in its place was nothing but ashes. Was this for real? He wasn't one to really close anything out but he wasn't sure if he was dreaming or not here. It had to be. But he was sure it wasn't. All the feelings going through him told him otherwise. But there was only one thing he could feel right now that would really point out if this were some crazy dream. One of the things he wasn't feeling now and something he never wished to feel. If he were able to pinch himself to cause pain then he would have. Well, maybe he would. If he could do anything now it would be to see where the crying was coming from. He still felt compelled to check it out but fear rooted him in place. That had to be it. But he didn't like this feeling. He didn't like feeling restricted like this and partially knowing what was the cause. He really hated it but what could he do.
Who was this man? At some point Leo had his thoughts processing slowly but steadily and that was one of the first questions that came to mind. Well, besides what was going on with the child. Something he would have seen for himself if his body recalled it could move and wasn't literally being held in place or being repelled by whoever or whatever this person was. For a very brief moment he parted his lips to speak but then nothing came out. He didn't understand how he could loose his cool so easily. Right now he was really hating his situation. He was really hating his own actions and his lack of control. He didn't know what was going on but even if he couldn't jump up to do something he at least had to do or say something about the kid he was hearing. "The Child." He uttered the words feeling for the first time since this all started that he could willingly move and he did. Moving back or rather more to the side against the wall. His aim was to get to the window though he wasn't sure if it was safe. He just had to see what was going on out there. He had to see if this kid was alright. That was what he was thinking to do but at the rate he was moving he wouldn't be surprised if the strange male in his room beat him to it.

Kobe remained where he was, the human boy in the corner having not escaped his notice. Deeming the male as non threatening, he ignored the human as if he was not there. The lion was too busy trying to catch his, cataloguing his wounds. They weren’t too bad. With a few days of quiet, he would be healed fully in no time. That is, as long as there wasn’t another attack. Kobe wasn’t sure how much more he could handle. There had been so many Prasidions that he had lost track of how many he had killed. With the feeling of danger dissipated for the moment, Kobe’s energy ebbed, leaving him spent and damn near useless.
That’s what he felt like anyways. He was sure the fight was gone from him for the moment, at least until the little human mentioned Ferris. Kobe’s head snapped up. His dark eyes glinted like mirrors in the rooms light, fury lancing his expression. Without thought for his actions, other than to protect, he launched himself at the human, teeth bared like some wild beast. Kobe grabbed at Leo with an iron, pushing the foreign human until he was able to pin him to the bed. He ignored the smell of fear on the boy, simply snarling in his face.
“No.” Kobe rasped out. Blood dripped from his shoulder, splashing across Leo’s face like some kind of macabre paint. He wasn’t going to hurt the boy, not really. That wasn’t his intention. The moment could have been rather intimate if Kobe hadn’t just wanted it to be clear the Ferris was his cub and if the human can anywhere near the baby, he’d rip the male’s arms off. Normally, Kobe wasn’t in this frame of mind. Most of the time he was very polite and easy going. Not now though. Not with Ferris’ life in danger. He would jump over any hurtles to protect his prince. Scaring a silly human wasn’t below him to keep Ferris protected.
“Stay.” The fact he had digressed to one word sentences showed just how tired Kobe was. He’d need to sleep and soon. Hopefully there was a safe place nearby. He didn’t trust this human not to do anything. With one last growl of warning, Kobe released the boy beneath him, limping quickly over to where he had hidden Ferris. He picked up the toddler, cradling the boy in his arms.
Standing by the window with the night as his backdrop, Kobe looked infinitely gentle. The sight of the large man cradling such a small defenseless child would have been comical if it hadn’t been so sweet. Kobe cooed softly to the hiccupping Ferris, before casting a dark look towards Leo. Moving once again, the lion lodged himself in a corner of the room, as far as he could get from Leo. Back to the wall once again, Kobe sat down, hunching his shoulders protectively. He rest for just a moment before leaving the human and his strange home behind.

Leonardo had only good intentions when it came to the child. The only other place his thoughts came to during his current situation. Maybe anyone else would have run off but he couldn't bring himself to do that and he would never think to do so. However it seemed he was meant to have some sort of regret for considering what he had with what happened next. The fact that it seemed as soon as he mentioned that the strange man in his room had come at him.
How he suddenly turned on him and came at him, pinning him onto the bed, was beyond him. Well, he knew the movements it took. He meant that he had just been so shocked and then he found himself in this position. He was being restricted even more! Now in the literal manner as this man, who looked quite beyond talking to, held him down given rise to more fear and brief flashing memories that seemed to come and go. Like this overall situation wasn't more then enough to have him frozen stiff.
If it had been possible to Leo would have gladly sank into the bed simply to be out of sight. Especially when he heard the man spoke followed by blood actually spilling across his face. Something that caused his eyes to widen visibly. He was sure now this man probably would end up taking his life anything else wouldn't seem very logical but this whole situation was illogical so he couldn't help if his thoughts sought out every negative scenario possible.
Whether he was or not was beyond his grasp too noticed. At the same time he found himself losing to his fear he found himself at a complete loss of himself as well. It was like he was there but then he wasn't at the same time. Something he hadn't experienced in a long time and certainly hoped never to experience again.
Leo was scarcely away of being told to stay. Not that he would have done anything else. Not with the fact, whether or not it was to happen now, that this man could easily do whatever he pleased with him.Something he was sure on without even considering if that was a possibility. He didn't need to be warned in anyway to keep to where he was. Though if he had any thoughts about going anywhere they would have been diminished with the growl of warning directed at him. Even after his release he didn't move.
Though at first it was simply fear and the fact he was somewhat at a loss at the moment. Only for a moment. Then that's when the other Leo replaced the fear frozen one that was very close to possibly passing out. A definite, in general, bad thing to do when in the presence of a stranger who could do who know what to him. It was then also when some of that fear Leo felt was turned into instant curiosity.
Certainly not anything to make him consider moving from where he was. Curiosity had the power to make some do foolish things but he was never the fool. Never unintentionally so if it could be helped. And usually it could. Here he was at a loss.
Curiosity was now what had Leo simply watching the other male from where his former self had been pinned down with no chance of escape. Not that he would fair any better. He could tell that much no matter whether he was at front or not. And he had clearly noted the warning on moving from where he was. He however wasn't told not to speak. He wondered if he should dare venture that. As he considered it his expression revealed a thoughtful look on it where fear had once been clearly noted.
The blood that had fallen onto his face remained as he didn't bother with wiping it away. He was far more into what he was witnessing before him. Something that certainly had him wondering what the overall situation here was. Something that he couldn't comprehend perhaps. He really did wonder. Especially seeing as how the strange man here had busted in his room in some fight with a creature. And then there was that child. Something his thoughts didn't have a hard time tuning back into when he noted the man having what he must have heard.
It was really amazing to Leo to witness how one moment the man looked as if he could kill, he still did actually, and then have this certain gentleness about him. He couldn't really think the man intended to do wrong here with whoever the child was. It wasn't just something he was considering at random either. This matter wasn't something that he easily discarded either. Though he knew nothing of the situation he was...concerned.
That was it simply put. But merely for the child and not so much the man that had caused his appearance. Regardless of how somewhat gentle he looked with the child. He would say he looked entirely so but with what just happened he didn't think gentle was a word he could fit with this stranger even if everyone else could say so. But then again it was hard to sat otherwise. But the details of that didn't matter. He needed to focus on what was going on and that was it didn't look like the strange man with the kid was going anywhere. In fact as if to enforce that thought he saw the look he gave him before going off into the corner.
Who did this guy think he was?! It had him suddenly very miffed as he found himself frowning but still not moving from where he had been pinned. Even he was wary of moving from the spot he was in.
It seemed obvious to Leo now that this guy here wasn't going to do anything to him. It just seemed he was protecting the child. He was observant enough to notice that. But watching here wasn't going to get him anywhere or make him understand things better. He needed to take some action and the only thing it looked like he could do was talk. The guy couldn't do anything to him for doing that, could he. Well, he could but he doubted it. If anything he would just hope for the best here. "Hey guy." He called out, in a not too loud voice, he didn't care to disturb the child, simply to get the attention of the man who seemed to take residence in his room.
"Besides the fact you look like you need medical help," That and some serious class on how one should break into peoples home looking ready to kill, though he didn't doubt he wasn't willing to seeing as how he killed something. "I'm going to take the high road here and ask if you need anything..." He trailed off for a moment, hoping his intentions were obvious.
"So, let me know if you need anything, anything at all, I mean it." He spoke this all from where he lay on the bed with his head turned to look at the man with his sapphire blue orbs intently set on him. He wasn't trying to be sarcastic either. He tried to avoid sounding like he was with how the overall situation was. He was really trying to make the best of it. So instead of simply laying here and considering napping or staring off into space, it was what his other half had been doing earlier so why not, he thought to take some action.
Really, this was better then nothing. He was sure that was the best way to go about things. Perhaps if he wasn't out that would be the only option, the laying here doing nothing, or probably not even a choice. If he passed out or fainted he really wouldn't be able to do anything at all.

Crouched in the corner of the room, the lion regard the human with midnight eyes. The boy smelled of fear and…something else. He didn’t know what. There was definitely something strange about the human in front of him, yet Kobe didn’t know what. He continued to stare at the male a few moments longer, occasionally rocking Ferris, who was starting to fuss again.
The small child nuzzled against Kobe’s chest, searchingly, only to give a tired cry of hunger when his objectives for food were thwarted. This wasn’t missed by the captain. He couldn’t remember when the prince had fed last. He had no milk for the baby and therefore nothing to offer as food. This was turning out to be a problem. While Kobe could go for days, a week even, without food, Ferris, who was barely two, needed to eat everyday. That was why what Leo had said was even taken into account.
Kobe knew he had been wicked in treating to boy the way he had, but there was nothing he could do about it. He had to protect Ferris at all costs, not trusting a human not to bring harm to the little cub. However, even as silence descended on the room, Kobe thought. He couldn’t trust this human, knew that he should…but, he was without a ship or provisions. There was no way for him to get home immediately and he had no idea how he was to get a message to his home planet, what with being so far out of the way from everything.
The words the human utter were heavily weighed. Kobe was out of options and running out of energy fast. If he was to take care of Ferris, then he had to take stock of his choices for survival. The human seemed the logical answer, however, Kobe didn’t want to take advantage of the male. For some reason he just couldn’t bring himself to do it. Had he not already scared the creature out of his wits? Granted, now the fear seemed to be replaced with curiosity, but Kobe still felt remorse for everything that had occurred so far.
The lion dipped his head over Ferris, the honey color of his hair mingling with that of bright aqua. Kobe stared into the little prince’s brown eyes as if trying to discern the right path to take. After a moment, he looked back at Leo intently.
“You won’t…you won’t call your soldiers, your please-men?” Kobe’s voice was surprisingly warm sounding. Without adrenaline filled words, the lions speech was that of a lilting, cultured baritone. He was, of course, referring to the Earth’s authorities when he asked his question. It was of the utmost importance to him that he was not captured and taken. He had heard horror tales of other’s races being experimented on and the thought made him physical sick. Would this particular human, after all he had been put through, actual help him. Kobe knew he didn’t deserve such attention from the male on the bed, but it left him feeling hopeful. Maybe he would make it off of Earth alive.
“Milk.” Kobe offered at last, having decided the boy’s help was the best course of action. “He’s hungry.” His voice held the tiniest bit of worry as if Ferris being hungry was a killing offense. “Nothing else matters right now.” It really didn’t. Even as the blood ran sluggishly down his arm, caking to his black spandex space suit, it didn’t matter. Kobe’s first and only priority was taking care of Ferris. The poor captain was the type of person to run himself into the ground for another if they needed protecting…and boy did Ferris need to be protected. Kobe said nothing more as he watched the human boy, with a rather beseeching looked that showed no violence from the moment before. He really would never have harmed Leo.

Leo figured he would be stuck on the bed until this guy left. Whenever that would be he had no idea. It left him to deal with boredom and tempting thoughts he shouldn't have. The him that wasn't here would have thought without a doubt that being threatened and possibly being throttled or killed by the other male was a definite no no. Not that he was a yes yes on that matter. It was just sort of a turn on then turn off. But getting on this guys bad side was...well, bad.
He had no idea what he would do and besides the kid put a major king in things. He might have done something if he wasn't here but he was. Or well he thought the child was a boy but could care less. The kid was a kid and he wasn't big on doing things around kids. Actually, he never had a chance to really. But he found the idea to be a turn off so he laid there. Just waiting for the time being so he wouldn't make a wrong move. At least that's how he saw it when dealing with this stranger.
Although he liked to tempt fate at times, to a particular limit, he didn't mess with things in a manner he knew would be plain foolish. And messing with someone who could obviously easily take ones life was on the top of that list.
Now it was just bothersome to look over at that guy and the kid. He would have tried to think over who he could be but he knew he wouldn't guess right. There was no point in dwelling on it either. He was sure no matter what he thought of it would be wrong and a waste of time. So considering no matter what odd pair he had in his room it was no concern of his. It was why he partially considered passing the time by drifting off or something.
What really kept him up was that he wanted to be here to see what happened with this guy. Well, he would be able to note whatever happened whether he was out front or not. It was just there were somethings that he could do that his other side couldn't. Not referring to things that went on in bed. He referred to the simple fact like with what just happened. He dealt with those things better. It was practically why he was here now so he would ride this train to see where it went.
Referring to the fact he would like to linger about here to see whatever happened with this guy and he didn't imagine him being around forever so his time was limited.
To occupy Leo's time he mentally hummed a song in his mind. This was done in order to block out what was going on around him which was very uninteresting to him now. His only concern was for the child so seeing he seemed to be in good hands he had no reason to mind him. However his offer was more so for the child then anything else.
Well, not exactly. Anything was anything but he doubted the guy here would use any more force on him. That was a shame. He had a preference towards liking things rough. An inappropriate thing to consider now so he tried to keep his thoughts from wandering in the direction. There really wasn't much else to focus on though. All he knew for himself was that the guy here, although frightening in a way his other half couldn't deny, was just as intriguing and not just because he looked like he would be a decent partner in bed. That and he looked like he made a decent care taker for a kid.
Though honestly kids for him weren't something he himself was going to have with any girl he met. Although he didn't think to have any for himself he wasn't loathing them or anything. He just rather not deal with them sometimes if it could be helped and right now it looked like it could so he didn't think to change that.
Why was it when Leo thought the man wouldn't talk to him he spoke. He found himself frowning as he caught on to what he said and simply raised a brow at it. His response at first was a bit...uncensored. He supposed he was immediately angered at a question he thought should be obvious. "I'm sure you could kill me before I even thought to do so." He stated this, thinking it as a fact. "And I don't care much for police or trying to explain this situation already." He wanted to completely avoid anyone judging him as someone who lost it.
He already reached a certain point to be here and now he wasn't going to sound as if he were on some powerful drugs. That's what someone had to be on to say they saw what he had. He considered saying more but it wasn't exactly anything pleasant so he found himself silent for the moment. He really couldn't imagine calling the police. The fact they didn't come to mind at all should have said that much. He however considered them now but was quick to brush the thought aside. Even if he could call the police he found this situation to be far too interesting to disperse in anyway. That and he wasn't going to be responsible for separating a kid from whoever this guy was to him. Seeing as how he wasn't treating the kid bad he went with that he wasn't someone bad and that was all he needed to have it fly with him or basically be alright with him. He really had nothing against kids.
Hearing what was asked for had Leonardo sitting up and soon enough standing up. If he was to bring back milk then he had to. "I don't have any bottle here." He stated this. standing at the side of his bed thinking to simply give what he had. "But I can get you some milk." With that said he moved towards the door and thought to head straight to the kitchen. However, before he exited the room he said one more thing.
"I'll be right back." With that now he exited the room and headed towards the kitchen. He passed by a phone along the way but he didn't stop by it. If he did anything it would be after he got the milk. Something he did as he went into the kitchen and made due with a cup which he pured the milk in. He thought he poured a good amount before he moved to exit the kitchen and head straight back towards that man. Really, if it wasn't for the kid he definitely wouldn't be doing this.
He didn't think he would call the police but he wouldn't play the kind card. Although the kid here was a stranger all the same he didn't like the idea of something bad happening to him and that was something that would always sink in on both sides. The general idea at least so the kid was no one special.
It was thoughts like those that preoccupied his mind as he walked with the glass of milk in his hands after placing the milk in general back into the fridge. He had to wonder what he was thinking now. If he could kick this guy out he would have. Well, if he was by himself. Well, actually if he was by himself he wouldn't exactly think to set the guy out on the streets. But once again that was inappropriate thinking.
Especially as he came to walk back into the bedroom only thinking to hand the glass of milk he brought back to the strange guy in his room and leave it at that. It what he decided upon as he stopped in front of the guy after walking back into his room only holding out the cup for him to take. "Here." He said this, wondering what this guys story was. He couldn't help but wonder with his current situation.
Although Leo didn't have any desire to do something foolish. Well, he didn't want to do anything that would get himself killed. But he had this practically undeniable urge to make something clear and he did just that as he spoke standing there. "Look, I don't know your situation and I don't think I care to know but as long as you're here I want to get a few things straight." Well, at the moment it was two things here.
"I don't like you, but I don't hate kids." That left a bit of a complication with him and a sort of contradiction. Being attracted in any way, for one reason or another, contradicted his dislike but it wasn't anything but how any human was attracted to an attractive being. That's how he figured it anyways and then he couldn't just ignore the kid here. That would be cruel. Although he was good at that. "And I don't want you to ever, ever touch me again." That was said with an obvious cold look and tone set upon his features.
It however wasn't exactly what he desired. Not what he the present Leo desired. More like he voiced what the other Leo desired but wouldn't ever come to say. Not without lots of time and still it wasn't likely. Suddenly, without any plausible reason, a disgusted look settled upon his features. One that might have seemed like it was directed at the man before him but it was cast towards himself. He really did hate to contradict himself.
If it was just him, the present Leo, things would be a lot easier to deal with. In his mind it was. But things were always more...problematic this way. Well, who was he to say that. If things went that way then he wouldn't be here now. He would be back where he started and perhaps still going through what he in a way took off from.
The 'in a way' part being that it wasn't him that ran off but his other half. When it came to such things he didn't run away from anything. He dealt with it in his own way which always seemed different then the way of his other half. It was how he seemed to contradict himself so easily. It was how he found himself to be quite annoying if not bothersome at times. But he wasn't going to get lost in such thoughts. He just wanted this to be over and done with. If anything he would go into the room with his art. It was his art to.
That part had no difference to it no matter what side of him was out. He however didn't like the idea of anything else dangerous happening and messing things up there. It had him stuck between wanting to be there to protect his art and then be away to do the same thing. This merely brought a frown upon his features but that was it. For right now at least.

Kobe had the grace to look scandalized at the anger in the human‘s words. Was it really thought that he would kill so needlessly? Never had the thought even occurred to him. Even if these police had been called, Kobe would have just ran for it and done nothing more. He supposed that he was rather fierce and the way that he had been introduced to the human had been very bad. Under better circumstances, Kobe wasn’t so…overwhelming. At least with people he knew anyways. He knew he was a big guy, tall and muscular. Some people felt that they should be intimidated by him, but when they were not, came to be surprised. However, this didn’t seem to be the case with Leo as the male was still obviously afraid of being killed.
Leo’s comment about the police had went unanswered. As much as it bothered him, Kobe decided to continued the whole scary-killer-act. Not to take advantage of the human by any means. No. It was done so that Kobe could keep himself detached from the situation. He generally liked people as a whole and got along well with everyone. If he got to know this human now, it would only mean trouble later. The human would be one more person that he’d have to protect when his enemies came calling again. Hopefully though, the lion would be long gone by then, leaving the human in peace.
Glad that his plea for milk was answered, Kobe waited patiently for the human to return. At least now Ferris would be fed. Which was good. He wasn’t sure what to do about the no bottle issue. In his head, Kobe counted the months since Ferris had been born. The toddler was about thirteen months and had been breast fed for most of the time. He wondered if the baby would take well to a cup, especially one that wasn’t a sippy cup. He shrugged, it would just have to work.
Consternation rippled through him when he actually saw the cup, the opaque liquid sloshing around inside. “Thank you.” Kobe said quietly, though sincerely, even as he was unsure if it would work. His attention shifted off of the human and back to the babbling Ferris. The baby seemed to be wide awake now, the tears having dissipated. It was good that milk was given to him. Ferris was wide-eyed and ready to eat. Hopefully that would make things a whole lot easier.
Silent still, Kobe reached into his pocket, pulling out a silver, translucent packet. Inside was a powdered substance, much akin to baby formula, yet so much more different. Kobe didn’t hesitate to put the stuff into the cup of milk. Even as Leo spoke to him, seeming very earnest, for all intents and purposes, it seemed that the lion was ignoring him. His mind was too much on the subject of getting Ferris fed. He listened with half an ear though to what the human said. A moment after the powder had been poured into the milk, the white of the liquid turned a light blue and heat began to drift out of the cup in smoky tendrils. Zercan technology at its best.
Grim faced, covered in sweat and blood along with God knew what else, Kobe propped Ferris up so that the toddler was able to stand firmly in the circle of his folded legs. Praying that the baby could handle the cup, he held the rim of the container to Ferris’ pinky mouth, tipping forward gently. Ferris seemed not to know what to do such with such a thing. In his very short life, he had never encountered a cup and had no idea how to react to it. The toddler’s confusion on what to do with his mouth, caused a little milk to dribble down his shin and onto his blue jumper. When Kobe thought the whole thing was a loss, Ferris figured out how to work the cup and began to slurp his dinner down messily until the cup was empty.
Burbling and happy now, Ferris burped loudly when Kobe placed him over his shoulder and patted his back. Smiling now for the first time, the thin scar lines down Kobe’s cheek only served to make him look more merry instead of vicious.
“Thank you.” Kobe said again emphatically. The lion was undeniably handsome when the force of his bright smile was direct on the human. “I understand.” This he said in response to the humans wish not to be touched and the fact that Kobe now knew he was disliked. He saw the look of disgust from the male and wondered how he could be disliked so much. The feeling was a new one for Kobe as most people liked him. Maybe humans were different and didn’t like the same qualities as they did on Zerca.
Before he could stop himself, Kobe let an apology pass through his lips. “I’m sorry, to have frightened you.” He said gently to the human standing in front of him. Whether it was the fact that he wanted to remedy the boy’s disliked for him or not, wasn’t clear. “I promise not to harm you. I’ll be gone shortly.” As soon as he could stand that is. “I hadn’t meant to impose on you so forcefully.” As Kobe spoke in his genteel way, Ferris struggled out of his protector’s arms, wanting to look about. He toddled to Leo, grabbing the human’s pant leg, drooling a little on the fabric, before going off to cling to the comforter of the bed. Kobe let Ferris wander while still keeping a fierce eye on him, making sure the child went no where near the glass and dusty remains of the Prasidion.

Leonardo had hoped with earnest he hadn't wasted his time getting the milk. Not that he had anything better to do though. It was doing this much or not doing anything at all which seemed to have been what he had been about to do. Or rather what he had been doing. Although wasting time really was the least of his worries. It translated as that to the present Leo but the other Leo would have simply hoped the child could consume what he had brother. Not that the feeling was his alone. Just out in a nicer way. The present Leo could do nothing at the moment but watch as he saw the guy take the glass from him with a thanks he wasn't expecting. It seemed rather pointless to thank him. The guy did after all bust into his place having this clearly threatening demeanor. Looking ready to literally kill him and he had indeed thought that. He was just glad he was still able to stand here.
Watching whatever the strange guy did was interesting to say the least. Better then what else he could do. Nothing. That's all he saw there for him to do besides talking some more and he really didn't have loads on his mind to say. Well, not exactly that much and nothing appropriate. At least the subject he thought about didn't seem appropriate. It was never appropriate. At least anything involving intimacy was never appropriate when it came to dealing with strangers. And this guy was as strange as he had ever seen so far in his lifetime. Really, the man was an absolute mess. Even though he was a mess though he couldn't deny he really did look quite attractive. It had him regretting the words his other half compelled him to say. The man could rough him up all he wanted. As long as it didn't lead to death he would be fine. A little rough play never killed anyone as long as they knew what they were doing. The fact he didn't know what he was dealing with kept him at bay. For the time being at least.
It seemed whatever the strange guy in his room was doing was something he knew about. That is, seeing how he added whatever he added and gave it to the boy to drink told him that. He highly doubted the guy would do anything bad to the child. Who he noted now seemed more like a toddler. Well, no matter the details he still doubted this guy had any ill will to to anything. It would have to be quite the opposite with all the trouble he seemed to be going through. He just wondered what that was exactly he put in there. But he supposed as long as it was safe he didn't care. Something that showed he did really care for the toddler here in the general way. He didn't like to see anyone hurt a kid. Not really a big surprise though. He didn't need to he one of those mind doctor's to realize the bots and pieces that made up how he was now. He really rather not be either. He had enough with dealing with all the thoughts he had in his mind in the present or rather those referring to the past.
Sapphire blue eyes showed a bit of relief at the sight of the toddler actually drinking the milk. That was definitely a good thing. Now he had to wonder what he was supposed to do next. He had particular thoughts he knew he shouldn't really dwell on in a possible life and death situation. Though he found himself considering that he wouldn't have to worry about that bit. Still what happened was strange enough, or should have been in his mind, to make him wary of the guy. It would be a lie to say either side of him suddenly felt safe. Although he didn't look it he wasn't trusting anyone here. Trust wasn't a thing he had to spare. Whether he wanted to commit acts of intimacy with one person or another. There were never any feelings in the matter other then the moment. Besides it was usually during such times he was around. Why would he care for anything else. He just didn't care to give it any thoughts. Such would surely only lead him to some psycho mumbo jumbo and he didn't feel the need to read up on himself at any point in time.
It seemed Leo had gotten lost in thought for a moment as he had noted one moment he child had been drinking and then he was done. Done and seeming well field. He actually would have liked to be able to provide more but he could only do so much. That and his present state, the side of him now, wasn't big on the idea of doing all he could do now. He had meant what he said before. He didn't like this guy here and he didn't hate kids. He didn't say he loved them either. He just had his own personal thoughts on the matter. Not all that different from his other side who he would hope laid dormant for the time being until he dealt with this situation. Things would hopefully be taken care of by that time. Something he was looking to be sure of as whatever effected the Leo not present effected the present one as well. No matter who was present it was the same body and he couldn't get another. Even if he sometimes pondered on the idea of being a constant individual. Or at least being around all the time instead of things going the other way around. But no need to get lost in thought on that again. He really needed to mind the strange guy and the child with him.
Looking intently at the man before him once again he noted for the first time, as he saw him taking care of the child, that he had a scar. One that had him quite curious as to how he got it. He thought it made him look...rather silly. No, he supposed that wasn't the right word. He didn't look like he was ready to kill but his overall state told him this guy was a complete mystery.
There was yet another thanks. One Leo only thought to frown at. He wasn't thinking to jump to say anything at the moment. He just stood there watching him hearing what he had to say. It seemed he acknowledged what he had said which was both a relief and an annoyance. Not so much a relief to the present one, it was the latter for him. But at the same time even with the present Leo could feel some relief. Still he found he regretted his words somewhat. Somewhat being he couldn't deny why he had said it and it couldn't be helped whenever he wasn't here. It wasn't bad but he didn't find it good. He definitely wanted to see what this male tasted like. He wanted to feel exactly what he seemed to be hiding underneath whatever he was wearing. But first there was something that needed to be taken care of. He really needed to get cleaned up.
Leonardo couldn't say he didn't notice the cuts and all else that was on the guy here. What had he been doing exactly? He couldn't help but wonder as he looked at him thoughtfully now. What was the creature he had seen earlier? Why did he suddenly feel like he was in some sort of science fiction movie? That was how he concluded he felt here. With this guy coming out of nowhere like he had with some kid. He didn't see any resemblance so he couldn't assume he was his either. Well, he felt some relief at that. Though he supposed it wouldn't matter either way to him. Really, he could know the guy was wed and still care to do the guy. He really didn't care for the details on much of anything. Well, sometimes but for sure when it came to such as the subject he considered now.
Now what was said next definitely caught Leonardo by surprise and had his attention intently set upon the strange guy. Was he really apologizing? He couldn't help but look slightly amused at that before he simply found himself quickly frowning. With how this was going he could only think this guy was nicer then he appeared. Something he was considering with the promise give and the fact he didn't seem to want to intrude. What was this about imposing on him? If he hadn't then he wouldn't be here right now. Something he was considering as he spared a glance at the toddler he found had come free of the strange man who held him and came at a brief stop by him, on his pants leg, before moving on. He couldn't help a very faint smile at that amusing sight as well.
Well, it was more like cute but he wasn't going to go on to lose focus on what he was thinking on now. He was quick to look back at the larger man before him. "Oh no, I really should thank you." Not for everything though but for the part that had him here. "I don't appreciate the mess but you seem to be very...interesting company." He thought that summed it up in a simple way. "However, I still don't like you and most likely won't like you later either." He referred to whenever he left and his other side returned. "Actually, I'm sure, I definitely won't like you later either." With how things had gone earlier, with the position his other half had been put in, he would be more wary then before of the man. He really couldn't imagine him wanting to be in the same room either. Which is why he just had to take advantage of the time he spent with this guy. Whether he was capable of taking his life or not. It really was a once in a lifetime opportunity and he didn't let such chances slip from him.
There was quite a bit Leo needed to consider now. Though it may not look it as he stood there suddenly folding his arms. "Stay as long as you want, I mean it." He suddenly thought to say this considering that the guy could leave at any point in time. Especially with what he had just said. "I admit I'm curious to know about what's going on but I don't know if you'd tell me and I don't think I really care for the details." He really didn't. He wasn't a detail oriented person. Not right now at least. "You know you look quite the mess." He stated this nonchalantly, as if he was having an everyday sort of conversation.
"Do you need a first aid kit?" His offer was merely that of someone who wanted to gain some favor in a positive way. Nothing more and nothing less. He sort of had a goal in mind now. "After all this I think you owe me something." With that said Leo found himself moving a bit to reach up and kiss the other male upon the lips in a quick kiss. He would have lingered but that wasn't really an option. Not with the child who he found himself suddenly looking towards in a glance before he looked back at the strange guy in his room. Really, he didn't think this situation could get any stranger.

The human was scrutinized by the big cat. Was he for real? Granted, Kobe had just cashed landed on Earth from outer space, but goodness. The human male was strange! He had never encountered such a creature. Why would he be deemed interesting company? Kobe cocked his head to the side, very much a cat-like mannerism. If he was in the boy’s place he would certainly not describe his intruder as “interesting company.” He was intrigued to say the least, if not downright confused. The human said such odd things. Kobe didn’t understand him at all and was trying to formulate some kind of coherent response. What did one say to such things? The hell if he knew, that was for sure.
He continued to listen impassively to the boy, while smoothing through the fine hairs of his goatee rather absently. What was he to do? It was dangerous outside, yet it was so strange inside that Kobe found he might almost rather face the Prasidions again. Wait. What was he thinking? He needed this human, if only for the moment. However much he was disliked, Ferris needed to be kept safe. Besides, he wouldn’t be able to go much further, what with his wounds and fatigue weighing heavily on him. He hadn’t slept nor eaten since the time of the attack. In fact, Kobe realized that he was beginning to feel the events of the last few days slowly creeping up on him. It had taken a lot of energy and determination to do what he had done. He regretted that he wasn’t able to save the King, his friend, from danger. He had no idea where the man and his wife had gone, but hoped against hope that they were alright. There had just been too much chaos during the siege that Kobe had lost track of them. His duty was to the crown, yes, but to Ferris first and foremost. That was what made him consider the human before him.
Grimacing in discomfort, Kobe managed to stand. He wasn’t really standing though. The wall behind him served as his support and he was sure that if it wasn’t there then he’d be on the ground again. Silent still, it seemed he was rather a quiet person, he gazed at Leo with dark, considering eyes. There was so many thing that he wanted to say, but the words were hard to find. He wasn’t shy, merely quiet, always having found it hard to speak out what he wanted. He could give speeches when the moment called for it, but this wasn’t the time for speeches. The captain found himself at a complete and utter loss. He wanted this first aide kit. Yes, he wanted to stay for awhile and be safe if only for a moment.
Kobe was about to say all of this, wanted to speak out his wishes. He was shocked though well the human came to kiss him. It was so sudden and out of the blue that the lion nearly jumped out of his skin. Unfortunately he was stuck in a corner and could go nowhere.
The kiss, short as it was, sparked through Kobe like a static shock. He jumped a second time during the short intimate moment, alarmed at this. He didn’t know what this feeling was, but didn’t think that it was too good. He felt his body responding from the very short touch and damned his very tight suit for his sudden arousal was obvious. What was going on? He usually never reacted much to such things. Not to say he had never had such experiences, but being a soldier made it so they were few and far between.
Horrified at the state of his body, Kobe gulped. Not in fear, but to simply wet his suddenly dry mouth. It could be seen that the rangy man was somewhat wary of the human now, backed into the corner as he was. It wasn’t because he was afraid, but simply from his own reaction. He wanted to hold this boy. Kobe felt the first stirrings of the beast inside. He shut his eyes for a moment, drawing in a deep breath as he tried to calm himself. Now was certainly not the time for such things. Cool as ever once again, Kobe frowned at the human, ignoring the heat of his own body, letting the reaction pass.
“Are you always so wonton boy?” Were his first words. He hadn’t meant them to sound as harsh as they sounded, but Kobe wasn’t exactly in the best state. “Do you always offer yourself up to strange men? I don’t understand you. Not at all.” Grasping the wound at his shoulder, he could feel a chunk of skin missing, he sidled over to the bed without touching the human, wanting something soft under his butt before he fell. He glanced at Ferris, who was happy chewing on the comforter, oblivious to Kobe’s distress. Sighing the Captain let his weight sink into the mattress.
“You are so sure that you don’t like me, yet you…kiss me as if you did. You tell me not to touch you, yet you touch me.” Kobe spoke aloud, but he was really trying to verbal work through his confusion. He ran a hand through honey colored hair, his expression torn. “I appreciate your offer to stay and would very much like to do so. This aide kit would be useful as I am wounded rather badly. However…” Here, Kobe paused to look at the human searchingly, the hand on his shoulder tightening to staunch the blood flow. “Do you require that I lay with you for these services?”
He wondered if he had hit the nail right on the head. Really, it seemed that the boy was hinting at this, though Kobe very much hoped that he was mistaken. He hoped that the human would help him simply out of kindness, but that didn’t seem to be the case. The idea was odd to Kobe, only because, once again, if he was in the boy’s position, he would readily help out while seeking no payment from himself.
Thinking, Kobe was sure that he would sleep with the human. It only showed how desperate he was for help. He didn’t want to die after having come so far. And what would happen to Ferris? Kobe would give up his own body if he must. It wouldn’t be too bad, he mused. The human wasn’t ugly by any means, and seemed kind of cute in a rather sinister way at the moment. The male was small though and Kobe worried that he would hurt the boy if they came together in intimacy.
“Would you honor me with your name boy, or do your prefer that your encounters remain anonymous?” The comment was meant to nettle, but Kobe was feeling prickly. He was sticky and sweaty, covered in blood old and new. His wounds were pulsing in an uncomfortable warmth and he itched for them to be gone. A mess he truly was. In all honesty he just wanted to lay right down on the bed beneath him and go right to sleep. Ferris was sitting on his feet now, burbling with his thumb in his mouth. All he’d have to do was picked up the toddler and they could both sleep. Kobe doubted that this was going to be an option.

Leonardo would be lying if he said he didn't wish he could linger with that kiss he had given. It was far too short. Far too simple. He wanted to do more. Felt like he could but he had decided it was not best for that. He wasn't sure if he would ever have a chance to. Not merely because of the child but the man in general didn't look the type to want to be intimate. Not a surprise though. His situation looked to be one where that wouldn't even be one of the last things on his mind. He would have far more important things to consider. He couldn't help but wonder if he could change that. It sounded sort of like a challenge.
One he would have to consider a but. Regardless of his wants he didn't want to cast aside all common sense and put his life in peril here. If there was anything his current side did the most it was being sure that he was here for the next day and the day after that with his sanity intact. Something he certainly wasn't going to think on in detail now. He just had his reasons for doing what he did and he wasn't going to explain those to anyone. Not even himself or rather his other self.
Sapphire blue orbs were mostly set upon the larger male before him, other then the occasional glance towards the child, to see what reaction he would have elicited from the other male. What he saw amused and excited him. The latter certainly not helping his decision to keep from trying to take things further. But who was he kidding. If things went in that direction he would in no way think to deny himself of such a pleasure. Especially since seeing as how he hadn't really been with anyone in so long.
Not that he had much of a choice earlier but he did here and he knew what he wanted now. He couldn't help but set up a little goal in him. To see exactly what he could get from this male in the time he was here. And that wasn't just referring to when this strange guy left but to the point where he himself wouldn't be here. When the latter happened it wasn't likely he would return anytime soon. That and his hopes of going anywhere with this male would have gone down the drain completely. His other half wouldn't consider anything close to what he physically desired.
He seemed to always do the opposite to some extent and his first impression was not one that would change that anytime soon. In fact it would be worse. So much he felt annoyed with himself, his other self, and didn't look forward to going away. How could he when he had such...interesting company.
This man, whoever he was, was definitely a mystery to him. He didn't exactly give any negative reaction but he didn't give much of a reaction at all. Well, not quite that he didn't react. He couldn't deny there was a definite reaction to his kiss. He just didn't do anything. But what had he expected? Not much. Not anything. He should settle with that. He was thinking to do that for the moment when he heard what was asked of him. It caused him to notice for a moment it seemed he wasn't focusing on the stranger as he should. Now however he had his complete attention. Now what was it he asked? Something about he being wanton.
Did he really seem that way. Well, he took no offense to it. Well, this side of him took no offense. He would hope if he did leave before this guy left that such a topic wouldn't be brought back up. The topic itself was just one his other side would completely wish to avoid. Not enough to bring him back out but enough for him to be bothered by it. Though he supposed he shouldn't be. He knew exactly why the general subject, with the definition of the word used to describe him, was not one he wanted to go over at any point in time. Not so much in a conversation at least. And definitely not something his other side would care to do.
Hearing the strangers words he briefly cast his gaze at the toddler. Still looking as cute as ever. He had no problem with kid here. Well, not in the 'I hate kids way', more like in the 'I could do so much more if you weren't here way', that was how he felt at the moment. But there was no way he would think to be rid of the kid anyways. Not just because he couldn't even if he wanted to but he genuinely didn't want to. It was a long time since he had been around any children. He just hadn't had reason to. He worked with art ant kept to himself. To his other self that was all there was to life.
All he cared it to be. It's why he hadn't been around in quite awhile. If things stayed so...mundane then what was the reason for him even being out. Something to be considered as he would have found things to be more then a bit dull otherwise. Though that was also the one thing they had in common without a doubt. The undeniable love for art. Though the current side of Leo didn't get that end of the stick or whatever reference one could make that he always got the unwanted ends. Well, unwanted by his other side. All he got here was this. These rather...interesting occurrences. Ones he couldn't think to complain about either.
For the moment it seemed Leonardo was silent, lost in thought with all that suddenly crossed his mind that seemed past related at random. However, he couldn't stay that way for long. He was aware of what he had been asked, "Well, I don't usually find myself in the current situation I'm in now." He found himself motioning towards the mess the larger male made. "And you'll that I'm not always wanton as you put it." He looked thoughtful at that.
"You're just lucky enough to bring out that side of me." Something actually meant in the literal manner as he had been the reason he had come out in the first place. "I also don't offer myself to just anyone...just those that manage to bring out this side of me." It was true but then was his answer any different then what could have been the assumption. It was basically. The fact he offered himself up to anyone who brought him out sort of said that was a yes.
"But I've been fortunate enough to only have to offer myself to only one person that I know relatively well." He spoke that with a frown at first but then a smirk was quick to replace it. He felt now he spoke a bit too much on that. He needed to focus on the here and now and not the past.
The way the strange male in his room spoke made it sounded like he contradicted himself. Something he noted himself which was why he felt annoyed at that. For the most part it wasn't exactly himself he was contradicting but his other half who would stick to what he said earlier. "Well, I don't like you and know I won't like you any better later." When he said he didn't like the man he meant he didn't like him in the manner his other half would not.
Loathing him for the way he had come in. Not so much for the destruction that took place before him but for the fact that he brought him out. Or put him through enough to do so. Not that it would be noted n such detail. Whenever his other half came out all that took place with him at present would be a bit of a hazy image if not a blank. Which was why he knew his opinion on this man would not differ.
Perhaps worsen with past reasons as to why things were a bit of a blank. Not due to lack of trying to recall either. In the end it was all for the best. What he didn't recall would bother or haunt him unnecessarily and he would be just a little less wary when dealing with normal everyday things in life. So he served a fairly good purpose here besides expressing what his other half wouldn't. But all that wasn't something he should let cloud his mind. From what was said next he needed to take some action now.
"I don't see a problem with touching you." Leo stated this with a shrug of his shoulders ever so slightly. He really didn't see a problem with it. "Besides it's better if I'm the one that touches you if there is to be touching at all, you won't always receive a sensible reaction if you did." While he was out he would either like or have some understanding towards being touched. When his other half was out, with all that happened moments ago, it would more likely cause unreasonable reactions. Even with a simple touch.
Although things would probably not be so bad if only they had met under different circumstances. That was however not the case so he needed to mind that it himself. Something he was considering as he thought over what had been said referring to the first aide kit. It was amusing how it was said by the other male. That and what he said or rather asked next. He couldn't help but chuckle for a brief moment after hearing it. Did he really think he would ask for that?
Well, now that he offered up the idea he just might. But either way he wasn't going to hold back from assisting with him. The last thing he wanted was this interesting fellow to pass away due to the blood loss even he could note and leave him with the strange child. Whatever this man was trying to get away from he wouldn't doubt that it had suddenly cleared up with what happened earlier with that creature he had seen.
"I'd be lying if I said that wasn't a tempting idea." Leo had no problem admitting that much himself. "You could do that to pay me back, I doubt you have anything else you could offer me." He hadn't really thought to charge him besides a few kisses every now and then at random. But this was him at present. The side of Leo that welcomed intimacy and he was a bit selfish to boot. So it seemed like a must now.
"We can figure out the details on that later though, I Know right now there are more important things to mind." With this said Leo turned towards the door. "I'll be right back." With this said he moved forward and walked right out of the room heading straight towards his bathroom. He knew exactly where he had the first aide kit and he kept it right in the bathroom. He had never needed to use it before but now he was glad he had one. Something he smiled ever so slightly at as he found himself in the bathroom taking up the box underneath the bathroom sink that would be the first aid kit.
A very large one at that as well. He supposed better safe then sorry. Something he thought as he rested the box with the plus mark on the bathroom counter catching a glimpse of himself in them mirror. He was certainly an interesting sight. He took note of his green dyed and now disheveled hair that hinted towards his true midnight black tresses that just old him he needed to dye his hair over again. With the streaks of midnight black that could be seen through it set seemingly at random. What he put in to dye his hair wasn't permanent. For reasons that he needed go over then now.
His face held an amused look to it as he found his sapphire blue orbs taking note of the blood that had fallen on his face earlier and clearly dried up there. He'd have to clean up. Not just himself but his room as well. Now that was just bothersome but something that had to be done. He supposed the sooner the better so perhaps he would mind that himself. Now though he needed to get back to that stranger in his bedroom. With that thought he turned and left with the first aid kit in hand and headed straight back to his bedroom.
The walk was a short one, he didn't have do anything more then walk out into the hall and cross over to the room that was his bedroom. Walking in his gaze first landed on the mess once again, caused by what happened earlier, before focusing on the other male in the room. He really would have to take care of both messes. Not just the mess made in what he saw was a fight but the mess that was this stranger in his room. The man really had a number done on him.
Something he considered as he stopped by the male and set the first aid kit open on the little table top he had set by the bed. He might have set in on the bed but he didn't care risking the toddler getting into anything and then the surface he set it one was certainly high enough to keep the toddler from trying to get at anything without being noticed. "You need to strip." He said this suddenly with his sapphire blue gaze traveling from the now opened first aid kit to the male who sat upon his bed.
"I'd like to take care of your wounds but it's easier done without all that you have on now." He didn't consider whether the male had anything on underneath but he didn't care. Besides he liked the idea of seeing the other male naked. "Unless you rather take care of yourself and no a better way." He had no idea if this guy had any medical knowledge he did not know of. "Also, if you do strip, don't hesitate to ask for any assistance, in fact I'd do it all by myself if I have to." Not saying he wanted to see him that much but he meant it wouldn't be a problem and he'd even help with it if this guy wasn't capable of.
That reminded him of the question referring to his name he heard asked. "I don't really have a reason to keep my name a secret, it's Leonardo." He wondered now what this guys name was. He wouldn't mind calling him Guy all the time but he was curious to know.
"Would you mind letting me know yours now?" He really did want to find out what it was. He was also curious on the child's name but he didn't bother to ask for it. If this man wanted to tell him he would and if he didn't well it wouldn't change or alter his life so why care.

More confusion clouded Kobe’s senses. What did the human mean by “that side of me?” He wanted to ask, but held his tongue. He didn’t want to upset the boy in some way. The idea of the boy’s different sides still had him baffled though. Why would he, Kobe, bring out this side? There was nothing all that special about him. He was the captain of the Imperial Army, but that was nothing to boast of compared to some.
He snorted though at the male’s next comment Was he so sure that he had nothing else to offer? Kobe certainly wasn’t bad off and would have no issues with paying the boy for his help. The only problem was, all of his monetary items were back home, a million light years away. Currently, he had nothing but the clothes on his back. It was true though, that there were more important things to be done. Kobe had neither the time nor the interest to engage in sex. He was much to tired and even though he wanted the human to like him, even a little, Kobe didn’t want to get intimate with him. It wouldn’t be bad or anything, but Kobe wasn’t one for casual sex. The human would definitely be a casual fling and it wasn’t something he was interested in. He ignored the fact that the lion inside of him was beginning to stir, angry that he hadn’t claimed the boy. Which was strange. That had never happened before.
Groaning a little, Kobe flopped to the bed, staring up at the ceiling after the human left the room. He knew he mustn’t think on such things. He ignored the feeling of his body as best he could, not looking to deeply into the fact that the human had sparked something inside of him. He knew he couldn’t though. There was Ferris to think of. The Prasidions could attack again at any time. That, and Kobe just thought the human plain weird and was wary of getting to close to him, despite what his instinct was screaming at him to do.
The bed was so soft and comfortable that it was very near heaven. The tension leaked from the captain’s body, being much to tired to keep up a tight defensiveness. Kobe must had dozed off, because a moment later the boy was back and speaking to him. He blinked a moment, trying to understand what had been said to him. It was safe to say that Kobe was having a hard time following much of what the human was saying. Even before he had left the room. There were just too many unanswered questions and it left him very perplexed.
“My clothes?” Kobe asked slowly. He grunted from the effort of sitting up again, his shoulder practically on fire. The Prasidion weren’t poisonous, but it damn sure felt like it from the way it was throbbing. “I have no better way. I would be obliged to your help.” He murmured. He had no medical supplies and doubted that he could tend to his own wounds properly. He was just so tired! The fatigue battered at his senses, leaving darkness of crawl around the outside of his vision. At this point he didn’t care if he was naked in front of the rather questionable human.
Aching and sore, his body was able to sit up just enough so that he was able to struggle somewhat out of his jumpsuit. Biting his lip in pain, Kobe peeled off the black material from his body. It clung to his skin like a glove and had to be peeled away. The outfit was ruined anyhow and Kobe tore at it. He managed to get it half way down his body, before he fell back, utterly exhausted. With the adrenaline gone from his body, there was nothing for him to get his energy from. If the human wanted his body completely exposed, he’d have to shed the rest of Kobe’s clothes himself like he said. For the moment, only Kobe’s broad torso was exposed from the waist up. His tanned skin was only blemished by the wounds from his enemies, the chunk of skin missing from his shoulder the most obvious. Blood oozed sluggishly from the wound, dark in color. There were a couple of other injuries, but they were only skin deep and would heal in no time.
“Leo?” Kobe parroted softly. “My name is Kobe. I dare say that it would be a pleasure…but I hardly think that’s the case.” He smiled wryly at the human named Leo. What with everything that had happened, he doubted the human was happy with him in his house.
He was suddenly reminded of Ferris sitting on his feet. As his once last feat, he sat up and bent over the side of the bed to pick up the toddler. “There’s a good boy Ferris.” He whispered, once he was laying back down with the baby beside him. With Ferris so close by, Kobe wasn’t worried that he couldn’t rest a little. His eyes fluttered shut, at the complete mercy of Leo now. He wasn’t sure if he trusted the boy or not, but it was all he had. The human would just have to do.
“I don’t understand you Leo.” Kobe said again, his voice bewildered. He had finally gotten up enough courage to ask his question. “What do you mean by me bringing out a certain side in you? What do you mean by touching? Will you be different somehow when I wake up? I’m sorry if this is something bad, I didn’t mean to cause such a thing.” He hadn’t meant to cause anything. He would have been perfectly happy to remain home with his friends and family. “And your hair’s green too.” He thought to add. Kobe was started to fade in and out. “I thought…humans didn’t have such hair colors.” He didn’t know it was dye as he left his body settle into a swift doze, but not before pulling Ferris against the safety of his body.

Leonardo couldn't help but think once again how messed up the man on his bed looked. Not that he was hideous. He just looked really wounded. He could imagine whatever he fought must have been tough. Though the man himself looked strong. Very much so. It was no surprise he had overpowered him easily earlier. Whether he had been out or not to resist he was sure he wouldn't have one. Even with the man wounded. So he had to assume whatever he had been fighting was a rather tough thing to face. And whatever IT was was definitely an it. He really was in a science fiction movie wasn't he? Well, he didn't care. If his life suddenly turned into a sci fi movie it would be a whole lot more interesting then the way things were now. Not including what happened today of course.
Focusing on the man on his bed now Leonardo heard what was said. So he would agree to strip himself of his clothes. Well, that was good. Not simply due to the fact he would get to see him but he needed to take care of the wounds and he could only do that properly when he took off his clothes. That and he needed to wear something different now. He would have to see if he had any clothes left by David. The man was bigger then him as well so hopefully it would do better then what his own clothes. But he didn't need to think that far ahead. What he needed to focus on now was taking care of this strange man in his room. It was really a sight to see when the strange guy here started to take off the upper half of his clothing. He couldn't help but frown at what he saw. Though normally he would have smirked or even smiled. It was just the overall picture was just as pleasing as it wasn't. The fact he looked as hurt as he did was what set him off. What had he been though before coming here.
With a lingering frown Leo watched as the man seemed unable to continue removing the rest of his clothing. He noted he removed about half of it before he stopped. Well, that was fine. He would manage the rest. He had been quite serious about removing the other males clothes entirely. First however he would take care of the wounds and then strip him later. He was already going over what he would do in his mind when he heard him speak again.
It was...nice or at least not bad hearing his name said by the other man. Hearing his name in return he took a mental note of it. What was this about it being a pleasure. It most certainly was not. If they hadn't met under these circumstances maybe but at the moment it was definitely not. He considered saying something on the matter but then he just let it drop. He really didn't care to say anything. He just mentally wen over the other males name in his mind and left it at that. Even though he realized he didn't know the kids name he was fine with that.
It was, for lack of a better word, interesting to see how the man he knew as Kobe had come to take up the toddler. The way he took him up and lay with him made him wonder if he was possibly a parent or had any children. He certainly looked old enough to be able to. He didn't find himself liking that idea though. That this guy had a wife somewhere or a girlfriend. But he wasn't sure what to make of the child so perhaps. But then maybe he wasn't. He supposed it didn't matter now. He just needed to stop letting his thoughts get the best of him. Besides he almost missed the whispered words. He wasn't far enough to miss out on being able to make out some of what was said. If he heard correctly the boy's name was Ferris. Was that it. Cute name. He wondered where his parents were or maybe he should wonder where his other parent was. Well, he supposed it didn't matter. He really needed to keep focus. He needed to work quickly before his other self came out. Relative was a definite trigger for him to recede within himself and he really did want to stick around a bit longer.
Now it seemed like a good time to get started. Leo was already reaching into the first aid kit and taking out what he needed when he found himself pausing for a moment as he heard Kobe speak. It was then he found his sapphire blue gaze intently set on the man who asked questions. Stating also he didn't understand him. He found himself frowning for a moment as he simply listened and watched the man. He couldn't help but smirk eventually. Something his other ha;f didn't really do. He had reason to do so. This man, this stranger he knew as Kobe, was really something. Did he drift off to sleep now? He couldn't tell. It seemed so. Well, regardless he thought he could at least answer some of his questions. Something he did as he now started to go to work with using the first aid kit. So what did he need to answer first as he went about disinfecting the wounds he had with what he had in the first aide kit. Something he set about doing now. Being sure to get everything that looked like it needed to be treated. Especially his shoulder that he had to wonder if it would heal up on its own or needed stitches. He could do that to if it called for it. He knew how to sew. It was a must and clothing was just another form of art to him. He'd thinking about doing it when the subject came up.
"Honestly," he spoke more to himself then anyone else as he began to speak. "I don't expect anyone to get me. "Really, he didn't and he wasn't disappointed when thinking that anymore. He just accepted how he was. "I'm afraid I don't know if I will be here." He muttered that now with a frown as he worked on treating the strange man in his bed. It was sort of funny when he considered that bit in detail. This would be the first time he ever had another man in his bed and wasn't doing anything. Other then that he also never had another male in his bed here with him. It was amusing in a way but then at some point he didn't care to think on the idea for one reason or another. Besides he still had to say a bit more, didn't he. He wasn't so sure if he would answer the rest though. He was considering the other questions as he came to finish what he was doing and move on to the bandages he had. Something he set to work on using just as soon as he finished what he had been doing with disinfecting the mans wounds. Something he hoped hadn't hurt him but he did recall the stuff stringed. Hopefully he was sleeping so he wouldn't notice.
With the bandages in hand and being used now, being as gentle as possible as he could be, Leonardo thought to say a bit more. He wasn't sure if he would voice it all yet but he felt the need to say something. He was usually by himself. Honestly, he never got to really talk when he came out. Well, most of the time his vocalizations did not involve having to think about anything in particular. But back to what he was currently doing he came to speak. "Looking at you now I don't think I could say it was your fault." Not just because he was grateful to be out once more but he saw his situation and it didn't look like he had many options. Really, he imagined he was just as much a stranger as this guy was to him though he could never see himself as intimidating like this man was. It was funny how he was intimidated by him at first and he didn't really seem as cruel or mean as one would first assume with how they met. It's how he felt.
The only relief Leonardo had right now was the fact he finished, while sparing a glance every now and then towards the child in his bed as well, glad the bandaging thing was over. He wasn't sure if the man would do any better but he certainly hoped. He didn't like the idea of some stranger dying in his bed. He didn't like the idea of this stranger dying in his bed. It was with such thoughts he put the rest of the bandages he had back in the first aid kit bow. Now he had one more thing to do with the guy. Don't think he forgot he needed the mans clothes off. He hadn't and he set to work on taking care of that right now. He needed to be sure this man got cleaned up entirely or at least wasn't wearing anything for the sake of getting cleaned later. He didn't need the encouragement of seeing him make him work on getting the mans clothes the rest of the way off. He worked taking it off thinking it would be a lot easier if he had some help. He might have to wait until the guy here woke up. But then he considered something and found himself stopping the working of getting the mans pants off for the time being. He had an easier way of doing this.
With a faint smirk upon his lips Leonardo moved to the dresser in his room. There in a draw he pulled out what was clearly a pair of blue scissors. With that in hand he went back to the man and started to cut away at each side of the mans pants legs. He really hoped the material would cut and with the cuts he saw in it already he didn't doubt it. In fact he found the scissors was a success. He just hoped the male didn't expect to wear these again. He had to cut all the way up the suit he had on but only entirely on one side and it certainly helped he had it halfway off. Before he knew it he had it all completely cut away and managed to pull it out from underneath him. Now he just had to discard it. For now he took it up and stood with it, he had to kneel down a bit to work with the scissors, with the scissors in hand. He first moved and stopped off first at the draw he had gotten the scissors from and then he moved off, closing the dresser, moving to do something with the suit. Now seemed as good a time as any to start cleaning up the mess so he did just that. First dumping the suit he had in his hands and placing it in an empty garbage bag that he left out in the hall.
The next thing Leonardo set to work with doing was to clean up the mess Kobe made. Getting a dust pan and broom he thought what he was going to do would be obvious if one saw his room. It was just a quick walk back and forth to the place he set the items down. He couldn't help but sigh as he did so though. Going to work to clean up as soon as he got into his room. He started sweeping the dust into the dust pan with as much as he could having to take a trip to the trash can he had in the kitchen and going back again in that order just a few times. He wasn't in any hurry as he did this. Each time he did so he let his gaze linger over the male sleeping on his bed. The strange man he had laying there. He hadn't gotten to take notice of all the details on him. More like everything below the waist. Something he found he really paused to look at the first time he really noted he had forgotten to mind that little, well larger, detail. It was something he couldn't help but smirk at but didn't stop to pay special attention to, if he did he would be tempted to do things he know he shouldn't. Well, naturally it was wrong to do things to people in their sleep. No matter how much he felt he could throw himself at the male and give him all he could get. He really needed to take care of this mess. Something he was sure his other half would mind but wanted to be sure it was out of the way sooner then later.
By the time Leonardo was done minding everything, or cleaning up the mess the other male made, he was thinking he would go take out the trash sooner then later. But really that could wait. Now that he was done he came to make his way by the bed Kobe slept on where he found his gaze lingering on the male overall. He would think he was lucky to get such an attractive male but at the same time he was unlucky. He felt there was quite a bit of trouble ahead and he wasn't sure he wanted to deal with that. Not that he wasn't willing to try, it was just that he didn't want to get his other half into something and find out latter he should have minded that both sides of the coin never saw in the same direction at once and perhaps never at the same angle. He could at least do the later at some point. He would hope. But where was he going with this. As soon as this guy was gone he would be back to his simplistic life. Or as simplistic as it ever got for him. It was with that thought he thought to clean off his face. He knew the blood was there still. It was starting to bother him. Dried up blood was rather annoying to deal with. At least it didn't stain his clothes. But then he realized his bed would need cleaning. For obvious reasons with how wounded the male was but he didn't mind so much. He didn't mind it as he left the room and went to the bathroom and he didn't mind it when he came back shortly after just rinsing off his face and drying it off before returning back to his room.
It was then Leonardo decided to sit down at the desk in his room where he found after all that occurred he wondered if it would be such a bad idea to take a nap. But if he did he was sure he wouldn't be here when he woke up. His other half would be and he didn't think it a good idea, for obvious reasons, to have him waking up to a nude man in his bed. It was with that thought he quickly stood and went to the closet in his room. There he took out a blanket he decided to settle over the other male and the child and did just that. The window was open after all and it wasn't hot in his home. It was relatively cool and if either were asleep it just made more sense to do what he did. Now he went back to the chair he had been sitting in but not before he closed the closet door. He sat there setting the chair to look back at the man and the child where he rested his head upon an arm he propped up on the side of the chair. There he unintentionally found himself closing his eyes. A little rest wouldn't hurt, right. Of course now. His last thoughts he could recall were what he heard Kobe said about his hair. Did he really refer to his as a human? What did that make him? He had to wonder. He couldn't help but smirk a bit one more time. He really was in some sci fi movie. Maybe when he woke up, even though he was relatively sure he wouldn't be here, this would have been some crazy dream he secretly desired. That was the last thing he considered before he drifted off.

The voice of the human, Leo, was nice to listen too. Although Kobe told himself not to sleep, his body said otherwise. His doze was soon turning into a goodnight’s sleep. Not yet though. He managed to keep himself awake, listening to the boy speak. Such strange words he was hearing, the voice was almost comforting, but the words bothered Kobe. The human said he wasn’t understood. He supposed that everyone wasn’t understood by some degree, but the way in which Leo said this made him think differently. Was the boy so strange in that way?
Kobe sucked in a suddenly breath when his shoulder was prodded. He knew he was being taken care of, he was glad of it actually, but it still hurt. He didn’t make a sound though, he tense body was the only indication that he was in pain. The gentle hands of Leo and the warmth of Ferris against him served to sooth him minutely. Kobe sighed, left in himself drift further into the dark oblivion that some called sleep. He wanted to answer Leo but couldn’t find the words. He wanted to reassure the boy but didn’t know how. That, and he wanted to warn him. The Prasidions could still be around and were mostly likely. Kobe knew that he should be more worried about this than he was, but he just couldn’t dredge up the fear. His body was tugging at his mind, taking control for the moment. He wasn’t moving or speaking any time soon until he had slept a little.
Part of the reason why he wasn’t scared for his life and that of Ferris’ was because he felt relatively safe. He wasn’t sure if he trusted the human, but he did feel secure in his surrounding. Leo seemed nice, if not a bit forward. Kobe himself wasn’t forward so it was hard for him to understand such things in others.
When Leo spoke of not being there in the morning, Kobe was alarmed. Confused even. Where would the boy go? He wanted to say something, anything at all really, yet he remained silent. He simply went on holding Ferris against him, listening to the toddler’s sleepy burbling. The baby was as tired as he was. In the back of his mind he wondered where Leo was going to sleep, but just couldn’t seem to dredge up any concern. He would apologize when he woke up. Leave too. Surely the boy wanted him gone.
The Lion flinched when he felt the cold blade of the scissors against his suit. His body was too sluggish in is response though, and remained impassive to Leo workings. When Kobe suit had been stripped away, there was nothing underneath but his own skin. It was a handsome body that was revealed. The lion’s body was firm and muscular, taunt from exercise from his broad shoulders to his slim waist. He was not embarrassed to be seem naked. One couldn’t be shy about such things when you were in the army. Most of Kobe’s men teased him, saying he was hung like an Incubus. Kobe had never seen an Incubus nude, but understood the meaning well enough. Though, he never thought he was much out of the ordinary, even though everyone he knew said differently.
The moment the blanket was draped over Kobe, he was swiftly and surely delivered into sleep. It was too warm and comfortable not to give in to his fatigue. The human wasn’t going to hurt him and Ferris was already soundly asleep next to him. The Prasidions could wait. Would have to wait. Kobe was too sleepy to worry. He prayed that he wouldn’t be found and that Ferris and Leo would be safe while he slept. Those were the last coherent thoughts that Kobe had before he was out like a light.
The sun rose with the morning, chasing away any hint of the night. With the bright rays of light shifting through the still open window, they represented what was safe. The Prasidions couldn’t survive in direct sunlight. They had not been able to find Kobe and Ferris and would have to wait until nightfall to try again. As long as the sun was up, Kobe didn’t have to worry about anything. At least that’s what he thought until he woke up fully.
Blinking into the rather harsh light, he took in his surroundings in a bemused fashion. He remembered crashing into the room and the human Leo…everything else after that was a bit of a blur. He wondered why he was naked, but thought little on it. It seemed the human really had helped as was obvious by his bandaged wounds. Looking around, he saw the sleeping Leo at the desk and couldn’t help but smile softly. He was glad to have met the human.
Being sure not to wake the still sleeping Ferris, or Leo, Kobe stood up from the bed. Other than feeling very stiff and a little sore, he thought he was doing okay. He noticed the mess from last night had been cleaned up and mused over how studious the little human was. As Kobe pottered about the room, simply looking about, he couldn’t keep from letting his gaze shift over to Leo. The human had elicited such feelings in him that he was having a hard time interpreting them. Kobe didn’t know what they were, but vowed to find out when Leo woke up. Speaking of which, the human couldn’t be comfortable sitting at the desk like that.
Quietly, Kobe moved to Leo, gently picking him up and depositing him on the bed. The boy was so light! The lion couldn’t believe how small the other was, that or he was just too big. Smiling wryly to himself, Kobe tucked Leo in, do his best not to rouse the boy. He doubted Leo would wake up, it seemed very early still, but how was he to know that Leo didn’t wake up early? Now that he was able to see Leo clearly, he deemed the boy to be rather cute. He couldn’t help but be glad that the human was still around. He had been unsure if he would have been, especially after what he had said.
Having felt that the two boys were comfortable, Kobe began to hunt around for a pair of pants, or something to cover himself with. He liked a healthy breeze around his privates, but this was ridiculous. He wasn’t shy about his nudity, but he didn’t like to walk around naked. That said, the rummaging through the room for some clothes, started. He wondered where his jumpsuit was, but thought it was probably trashed anyone. So, he kept looking, trying to be a quiet as possible.
