There was nothing. Nothing but silence to be heard as the Zercan known as Darius sat back in the captains chair on deck. Not that there were lots of other chairs. This was the only one. He was actually the only one on board. And for good reason. He wasn't going on some sort of vacation. He was traveling about for a reason and that didn't require a partner. All he needed at the moment was his ship. It was a way to travel about from planet to planet and could also hold up a good conversation. There had been silence so far but moments before Talim, the A.I. of his ship, was holding the most interesting and yet random conversations as it was stated they were coming up to their destination. Now mind you Darius wasn't much of a talker.
Due to that fact he had to wonder sometimes if Talim spoke as much as he did due to his lack of talking. Maybe that was it. Or maybe in general it had a persona that like to go on and on and on. He never thought about it. He didn't really care. It filled the silence. Something he had no problem with but didn't really care about either. To him the talking was just perfect. One way or the other he was fine. Though he sometimes was put into a position to speak a few short responses. Something he also didn't mind. He did after all find he quite enjoyed the ship he had.
At the moment Darius had his dark amber orbs rimmed with black staring listlessly ahead at nothing in particular. He was thinking on nothing in particular. Just the brief thought that they would soon be arriving on the planet they were closest to now came to mind. The planet they were approaching that he knew was called Earth. A planet that his kind were allowed to go to in order to search for the lifemates and that was exactly why he had come. To see if he could find that one special person for him. But the planet was so big. He wasn't sure if he would even come across anyone that would possibly be who he was searching for. He had no idea if anyone on this planet would be the one for him. He however had to come and take a chance. What else did he had to lose. Nothing. So he was here now and as he had last hear from Talim they were about to land. He didn't need to be here. He could have been in his quarters. But he had been restless. He needed to feel he was doing something. So he sat himself here and had a conversation with his ship. A conversation being that he spoke a few words every now and then to whatever it was Talim said. That was it. That was how it was. That was how it always was. He wasn't complaining and neither was his ship. Well, sometimes Talim would go on to say he should speak more often but that was it. He let it drop then and went on about something else at random that he would say a few words to. That was how his travels were. Inspired by one sole reason behind it for the time being.
How much time had passed? Darius asked himself this as he heard Talim had come to start the landing process. Entering the planets atmosphere and all. He was never sure on the details. He just knew his ships A.I. was perfectly capable of handling all the technical stuff of his own. All he heard was something like a “Well be landing soon, isn’t it exciting.” It was all spoken in an excited tone the Zercan was use to hearing. Talim always seemed to be quite positive if not plain cheerful the majority of the time. The majority of the time meaning he had seen when Talim hadn’t been so cheerful. It just happened that he got along quite well with him so it wasn’t very often that happened. Then when it did happen it wasn’t always directed at him. Well, not directly something he was at fault at. It wasn’t necessary to think on though now. He was on peaceful terms with Talim and so that was all that mattered. With the landing coming to take place he let his thoughts wander as to what to expect. It had been decided earlier as he had come to decide to go to Earth that he would be landing at random. He knew next to nothing about the planet specifically. He just knew the basic things. What he could and couldn’t do. What more was there to know? Not much he hoped. He would be landing soon so it was to late to really go off and look up information. Besides any information he needed he was sure the A.I. would let him know. With that in mind he really didn’t have much to do but imagine what Earth would be like. Besides the information he knew that was basic. He had heard quite a bit about the planet. It made it hard for him to choose what part of the planet he would go to. Which had him getting into an actual conversation with the A.I. An actual conversation where he spoke more then a few words. He could recall it ever so clearly now.
The Zercan had just decided to go to Earth and told Talim that exact information shortly after. The A.I certainly hadn’t expected to be heading to the Back water planet. “Are you sure, you want to go there?” Talim had spoken to him with a clear note of surprise in the voice of the A.I. “That’s right, I’ve decided to go there next.” That was all he planned to say but then he heard the A.I. go on.
“But there are so many other pleasant planets to go on, you don’t know a thing about Earth.” It seemed Talim had something on his mind to have spoken that. Perhaps something stored in his memory.
“I don’t know much about the other planets either.“ That is besides his home planet.. “Besides, I feel I have to go there so no more talk on it, plan a course there as soon asp possible.“ There was a moment of silence after that as Darius looked at a screen that had sudden come to settle a little ways in the line of his vision. There the face of slightly pale blue-eyed raven black haired male hair that came strait down and framed his face. It was just a screen that displayed the face of a young man. There was nothing more there to see. The male on the screen seemed to hold a scrutinizing look on his features as he stared at the Zercan seated on the deck.
It was perhaps a few minutes or maybe even a few seconds that passed before the young male spoke. “Alright, I’ll plan a course now. I’m assuming we are leaving now.” There was a brief moment of silence again before the Zercan spoke. “Of course Talim, I’m not thinking to waste anymore time here.” Darius spoke in what sounded like a monotone voice before the A.I. went on to speak again, saying something about being in a hurry before the face was gone from the screen and their ship was surely on the move. Not that the Zercan recalled having sensed any movement.
His ship ran so smoothly there just wasn’t any notice of such. He just relaxed then and decided to go into his room for a bit. Speaking that curtly before he was gone laying to rest. However over then and now the Zercan had become quite restless and had gotten back up after a bit of resting or quite a bit. Well, no matter how much time had come to pass they had been close to arriving to the planet so he just stayed out where he was now.
It was then where they decided to land would have been discussed. To cut it short the coordinates were chosen at random. All Darius had in mind was that he didn’t want to land in the ocean or any large forms of water or any water period. That was how they came to where they seemed to be about to land now. He really didn’t bother thinking on all of it again. By the time the Zercan had come to finish reminiscing on the past he found that he heard Talim speak. The A.I was announcing their arrival. They actually landed. He really must have been out of it to not have noticed sooner.
But then he didn’t care whether it was noted or not. He just came to stand up now hearing Talim go about mentioning where they were in some desolate area with some city being a ways from them. But they were cloaked and far from anyone living beings. He was also warned it was cold. Was it? He’d deal with that. He would head to the city. His clothing was normal enough to pass by. He had some Earth currency from a friend to help him out. He also had a pack with clothes in it. Not a large one. He wasn’t sure how long he would be here but he intended to get by. Already he was heading off to retrieve that back. His current clothing conspired of a plain white short and black pants.
If he needed to keep warm he had a jacket. He wasn’t going to put it on though. If he needed it he would put it on later. He just wanted to hurry and see this city. Perhaps he would get lucky while he was here or perhaps he was wasting his time. He wouldn’t know until he exited the ship and checked things out.
It took but a few minutes to collect his things. As soon as he did he gave Talim a few orders if he didn’t come back soon. It was the usual. The A.I would know just what to do. He would be gone for awhile, a day or so, and would get in touch with him if anything happened or was needed. He actually had to remain a few minutes listening to Talim talk about these sudden last minute warning, telling him to be careful and things he was sure he heard his life giver tell him when he was child. He knew how to take care of himself. No one needed to treat him like a child.
Still he listened with a stony face. He didn’t really express many emotions. He was like that until the end where he gave assurances that he would be alright and wasn’t exactly sure when he would return. With that said and a few more words exchanged he exited the ship and set on his way to making it towards the city. One he believed he was told was called Reykjavik. He was quite curious as to what the place looked like but he figured he would see it soon enough. He very well considered changing to his other from to get there quicker but he couldn’t risk being seen.
He just went about his fairly long walk with a fairly medium size pack slung over his shoulders. For the moment he ignore the weather and tried to pick his pace up bit as he was in a hurry here.
Darius wasn’t sure how long he walked for but he did spot the city he was told about in the distance. The city called Reykjavik. He wondered what the humans would be like there. He wondered what to expect from humans in general. It was something to occupy his time as he came up to the city he now entered hoping to pass by as a typical or average citizen. Now he would take a look about here. He already caught sight of humans here and there as he walked about the many buildings he could see.
He wasn’t sure if he should expect anything to happen but he wasn’t going to take chances. He was going to be prepared. He considered contacting Talim but out in plain view was not the place to do it. But then again he didn’t need to. Not yet. He still needed to look about. He had accomplished nothing but arriving at the place. That was honestly. To him, just the start of things. But he wasn’t sure where to go from here. He supposed he would just figure out things as he went.

Bjorn shuddered as he stepped off the plane in Keflavik airport. He had just come from visiting one of his older brothers in Oslo, Norway. As he stepped off the stairs on to the tar mac, he pulled his jacket and scarf close to him. Just as he did, a lite snow began falling, making people smile and cheer. Bjorn cheered too, who couldn't love the snow? The small party of passengers made their way into the terminal, then parted company to other destinations. Bjorn's was a fly bus into Reykjavik. He had just enough time to pick up a cappacino and a magazine before he boarded on the bus. The drive into the city was un-eventfull, random people chatting quietly. Bjorn sat, reading his magazine, and sipping his cappacino. The bus finally pulled into the station. Passangers slowly filed off, catching their various ways to their houses. Bjorn's choice was to walk. He had spent all his money on the magazine and cappacino, and he had no funds for a taxi. The walk wasn't that far....he only lived about 20 minutes away.
The time flew by for Bjorn, and before he knew it, he was walking up the lane to his mothers house. He jogged up the walk, pulled out his key, then went inside. He inhaled the scentes of the house, coconut and lime, and smiled. His mother came out of the kitchen and ran to him, he dropped his bags and embraced her tightly. "Oh my darling," she shouted "I missed you terribly. It gets so lonely around here with out you!" Bjorn smiled, "I missed you too, momma."
"Oh Bjornsie, would you mind doing your dear mother a favor?" she said sweetly. "I need you to run to the market and pick me up the things on this list. I know you've just returned, but it is imperative that I have these things." Bjorn laughed, "Allright momma, perhaps I'll meet some one?" he said with another laugh. Bjorn's mother kissed him on his forehead, "My dear boy, the only person that will ever bee good enough, will be one who can bring you a hat full of stars, and place them at your feet."
Bjorn's mother give him the money then sent him on his way to the market. Bjorn smiled, musing at his own thoughts. As he walked into the market, he threw a penny into the street. He had no idea why, but he felt to. He walked into the market and began looking for the things his mother sent him for.

Darius kept his gaze looking here and there as he went about the city. He still had no particular place in mind to go. He was sort of moving about at random. Walking straight this way at a rather slow pace then turning this way or that. Really, he had no guidance towards where he was going. He could have spoken to one of the locals, that reference being to the people of the planet and not just the city he was in, but then he didn't care to talk. Even if he did it really would do him no good. He had nothing to say, nothing to ask. He didn't know enough about this place, this city, to ask any specific questions referring to directions. He was lost on that matter the moment he came onto Earth. He was only remotely aware of what was aware as he was told about the city being where it was by the A.I. of his ship. It had access to such information and shared it with him. But even Talim could just tell him so much. He was on his own for the most part for now. He needed to consider the basic things he would need during his stay here. That he might be able to ask questions about or should be able to but he wasn't sure.
Talking to the humans about wasn't exactly the most appealing of ideas to him. Although upon taking a moment consideration to it a bit more then he had before he realized it may be a must at some point in time. Lacking in knowledge of the city there were probably many things he could find out about the city itself with what he may need. Now Darius hadn't taken that many things into consideration besides the fact he wanted to search around for his other half here. What he considered now made him realize he needed to stop and take the time to actually think things over a bit. He wondered briefly if Talim had come to consider any of this himself. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. He could figure a good reason as to why he wouldn't tell him. Not to spite him. But to give him a reason to contact him or even to go back to the ship. Then he'd have to sit through some long talk about how he should have had the sense to think things through a bit more, as he seemed not to do more often then not, but all the same he was glad he came back to the ship or just contacted him. Only after all that would he get whatever it was he needed. Well, he was going to try and go without that for awhile. As long as he could help it at least. The first thing to come to mind to consider was the fact that he needed somewhere to go besides his ship. That is to sleep. Looking about on his way here there wasn't any place he could even settle down outside the city. This would be a bit bothersome. Well, he was sure he could figure something out. A place to stay was the least of his problems. He just thought to focus on looking about the city and taking in all he could before he came to decide on what he would do when the day came to a close.
If one were to ask the Zercan the time, Darius certainly wouldn't have anything to say to that. He had no idea how long he had been wandering about let alone the exact time on the planet. All he was aware of here was the fact that it was the day time. During the time that the Zercan had come to think on his situation a bit more he had stopped b one of the many buildings he came to walk by and leaned against it's wall in what seemed like an alley between the two buildings. He wasn't planning to do anything but to stop and think and he briefly readjusted the bag he had slung over his shoulder. It wasn't at all a bother to him with the amount of strength he had. He just thought to readjust it as his movements seem to cause it to slide off his shoulder a bit. So far he really hadn't thought of much besides that he might as well wait till the end of the day before deciding what to do. But then that was waiting until the last minute which wasn't the best thing to do. He was sure Talim had said something about that at some point. He was sure the A.I. had. Either way though he supposed he should look for a place to reside. He did have money on him for this planet. But he would have much rather preferred to find a place he could rest without having to pay. Not that he was cheap but he had a limited amount of money and he wasn't the type to spend on just anything unless he had to. What was he to do about that now? He had to ask himself that but then he decided to brush it off for now and to just keep his eyes open for anything that looked like it would help. Perhaps he would have to talk to the humans about. He was still reluctant to do it but if it was a must then it was a must.
Pushing off from the wall he was leaning against Darius removed himself from the alley and back out onto the sidewalk. There he started walking once more in the same slow manner as before. He still had no destination in mind so he had no need to be in a hurry anywhere. His dark amber orbs encircled in black took in everything he passed by and made mental notes of where he had come from. If he needed to he would go back to his ship. He had to recall how he got where he was now so it was a good thing to remember. Other then that he noted all the shops and buildings he passed by. Nothing interested him enough to actually go into. There was nothing and there was no one. It was unfortunate he seemed to yet to really come to anything that would attract his attention and keep it. Perhaps coming here was a mistake. But he had just arrive.d He wasn't going to take off anywhere anytime soon. He had to be absolutely sure there was nothing here for him and if that was the case he would go to a different part of the Earth. He just wasn't the type to give up on anything so easily. Especially something like this. He wouldn't dare think to. It wasn't even a thought that came to cross his mind. All he kept to really thinking was that he was thinking to keep up with what he had in mind until he thought he should do something else. That coming to be when it became dark outside. Then he would decide on his next action but still intended to do what he could until then. He didn't care to go back to his ship just yet so he had to figure out something.
After wandering around for who knows how long it seemed that Darius had come to a market like area. It probably was a market. He didn't go inside. It was just another place he noted and had no reason to go about in. Though upon the thoughts of a market he came to a stop in front of it thinking. What would he do for food? Of course he had some but that was back at the ship. He should probably get use to the idea of eating the food from this planet. Maybe he should enter. But if he heard correctly, about this planet, he didn't need to go in here. It wasn't like he had a home to cook at. Though he supposed he could manage something back at his ship. Once again though it was something that referred to the ship that he didn't care to go to. He wanted to see what he could do on his own. He would just need to think on another thing to go with until then. Once again he was sure he would figure something out. It just took time and he was in no hurry. For the moment he just stood there thinking of what he would come to do.Regardless of the humans about that may have spared a glance his way. He didn't intend to go about doing anything else until he settled upon something.

"Good day, Mr. Gunnar!" Bjorn shouted over the commotion of the market Mr. Gunnar the meat man smiled at him, "Ahhhh, young Bjorn! What'll itbe today? The usuall sheep, trout, snow chicken and blood for black pudding?" Bjorn shook his head yes, "I'll come back for it in a little while. I have to go for some other things." Bjorn told the man to put it on his mothers tab. Bjorn then left the mans booth and began walking around the market, looking for the next things on his list. Meat, Vegitables, Flour, Sugar and Milk, he said to himself mentaly. He soon located the woman selling the milk and sugar. Upon further looking he alos located the booth selling vegitables and flour.
Before he ended his market trip, he had allready been given far to much to carry. He had spent all his money, and had no way to afford a cab. His mother had pushed him out so fast, that he also left his celluar phone at home. Bjorn sat down on a bench outside of the market. He feircly kicked a rock, in his fustration with being left with far to much to carry home.
Bjorn looked around, but spied not a soul. He knew everyone, so had someone been there, they could have helped him carry his stuff home. The night was setting in, and he was begining to grow fearfull. As he looked around, he noticed a figure in the shadows. Leaning against a wall was a young man, porbably a few years older then him. Bjorn coudn''t see much of him untill a bight of light shone on him. When it did, Bjorn gasped, this was the most beautifull man he'd ever seen! Silky red hair fell down his back, light hazel eyes danced in hishead. He had strange tatoos under on of his eyes, Bjorn thought they were pretty. His tall, athletic build made Bjorn practically melt. Before he knew it....Bjorn was gathering every bit of boldness he had.
"Exscuse me, we don't know each other, but could you please help me take my things back to my house. It's to much for me to carry by-myself." Bjorn asked the strange young man.

Darius wondered how long he had been standing outside now. As it seemed the streets had come to clear to a point he was sure it was getting late. It was getting late and he hadn't come to a proper decision with what he would do. From the looks of things he would more then likely be heading back to his ship then finding some place to stay. Finding a place to stay would involve him actually walking about and talking to the inhabitants of the city. Something he wasn't thinking to do quite yet. Not that he was shy, far from it, he just wasn't much of a talker...period. He could talk when he needed to but when he didn't feel he needed to he just didn't bother with it. That was ho he had felt today. He just didn't need to bother with talking to anyone, not having anything to say or ask. It may have come to get him into his current situation. Not having accomplished anything though he had gotten to look around a bit. It was a bit disappointing though.
Even with the Zercan's disappointment or any other feelings he may have felt at the moment his expression was unreadable. It appeared as if were the rather serious type. That is with his lips set in a rather thin line and his features not expressing anything that would tell anyone how he was feeling. He wasn't really being serious or anything specific at the moment. It was just how he was. He didn't come to express himself very much if at all. Like with how he spoke very little. It was just not necessary. It wasn't like he didn't smile or frown. He just had to be around the right person or just feeling an emotion rather strongly. Even then he would only show it if he wanted to or if he let it slip. The latter was usually not the case. He just hadn't been in any situation where that would really occur. Well, it had but only a few times when he was with his family. Otherwise it never happened. He supposed it happened even less since he became a bit older. That is when he really felt the need to leave his planet and generally search for his other half. His sister was so lucky. She didn't have to search like he did. But she had. At some point. He just had to now himself. It was unfortunate. He had yet to come across anyone he could feel as that other half he felt he was missing. If he was the type to he would have sighed. Instead he merely let his gaze wander off to the side before looking up thoughtfully. He was looking up towards the sky. Thinking. Perhaps he wasn't lucky. He really was envious. Of his sister. But he supposed that was one of the last things he needed to think on. To think of her and her mate. He needed to focus on what he was doing. The here and now. He did have things to do after all and couldn't stand around all day. But still his thoughts tended to wander a bit longer.
It seemed even though Darius told himself to focus he didn't quite come to do so until he heard a voice. One that caused him to look over towards what looked be be a human male. He said nothing at first looking at the youth, he looked young, with his dark amber orbs. He was listening to what was being said but he felt something. There was something about this boy here, though he couldn't say what his exact age was, he was sure he was younger then he was. But that wasn't the point. He was trying to decipher what he was feeling here when he noticed the boy had finished saying whatever it was he was saying. It seemed he heard a bit and then tuned out a bit as he simply stared at the boy here. But then his memory, his mind did seem to acknowledge the words spoke here by the other male, he realized he had been asked to offer some assistance. What should he say? He really didn't feel like he could say no. He wasn't quite sure but he wasn't thinking to dwell on it. He felt like he should go with this. He would. "I'll help you." He actually managed a smile as he spoke, which even surprised himself, as he moved to approach the youth here who had spoken to him. He at the moment still had his pack over his shoulder but he paid little heed to it still with the fact it still did not bother him even though it had been sitting upon his shoulder all day. It didn't feel heavy with the strength his kind was gifted with.
"Let me know what you'd like me to carry." Darius stated this as he came to a stop close to the youth here. He looked him over for a moment, his eyesight fairing well with what little light was well, and he found the male here to be quite physically appealing. He really wished he could figure out what this was he felt. He imagined it would become a bit bothersome but he couldn't help but feel that things would be rather pleasant. Well, that was quite a contradiction. Why was that? He considered it for a moment but then he didn't see himself getting anywhere so he brushed the thought aside. He at least was able to note it seemed to be the boy's presence that caused this. But what did that mean? He needed a bit more time to think about this. That meant he would need to be able to hang about the other here for a bit longer and what better way to do that then to help him out. Besides he wasn't so unkind as to ignore someone who asked for his help. Whether or not he felt anything here.
The thought of getting in touch with Talim came to mind. Though he told the A.I. he would be back in a day or so and said he would contact him he could imagine the A.I. waiting impatiently for a call to come in any minute. It was that or he was waiting to see him spend the night on the ship with the lack of information he had. He really should have inquired about all the things he seemed to forget to think on. But if he forgot about it there was no need to really inquire about it. At least it didn't make sense to do so to him. But that was another thing he didn't need to think on. He still needed a place to stay so he would have to either head back to his ship or he would have to go about finding a place in town. After he left the youth he would look into that. It was a bit odd as he considered that last thought. Leaving this youth he just met dissapointed him. It really was quite confusing. He definitely needed to think on this. Perhaps talk to Talim about it when he had the chance to be alone. He could contact him from where he was so it wouldn't be a problem. He just didn't care for anyone to see him messing with some really advance technology. Well, compared to the current bit of technology on this planet at least which was far behind.

"Oh, thank you ever so much!" Bjorn cried out. A very handsome young man was helping him carry his things home! It was like a romantic movie! Bjorn had to know more about this man. Where he was from, what his name was, why was he in Iceland? He had more than enough time, he would walk at a slow but steady pace. That wasn't the hard part, Bjorn could sense this man wasn't the talkative type. Of course, Bjorn was gifted. He could make anyone open up. Bjorn looked at people like flowers, and he was the sun and the water. He could make anyone open up into the beautiful blossom they were.
"Could you carry this bucket of blood, and these two pales of fish and lamb? I can carry the vegitables, flour, sugar, and milk." Bjorn asked the handsome stranger. This promised to be a most enchanting evening. The clouds were begining to clear in the night sky, revealing a full moon and bright twinkling stars. A light snow began falling on them as Bjorn pulled out another sack to move the over flowing items into. There was somthing about this man, somthing that made Bjorn feel things he'd never felt before. Oh well, he thought to him self, there would be time for that later.
"My house isn't very far, so if that's to heavy, you won't have to hold it for a terribly long time." Bjorn assured the red-headed dream picking up his heaviest buckets and pails. "It's a beautifull eveing." Bjorn mused with a smile. He began walking towards his house, with this young man at his side. Wait....Bjorn didn't even know his name! And this young man certainly wouldn't do for as long as they had to go.
"You don't even know my name!" Bjorn laughed "I'm Bjorn, what's your name?" Bjorn asked him. By the looks of him, it was probably somthing exotic and masculine. Somthing to probably match the deep masculine voice of his. Bjorn smiled, as he waited for this other mans name.

Darius had no problem coming to take up what the young human male asked of him. He put little thought into what it was it seemed he had been told to pick up. That is he didn't think about the items the other came to purchase. He did notice enough to pick up the right items though. His mind was more so focused on the young human who asked for his assistance. His mind was focused on the young human himself as well as what it was he was suddenly bothered a bit by. Well, he couldn't say he was bothered by it exactly. He just couldn't quite figure it out. It didn't make any sense that he couldn't figure out something like this. There didn't seem to be any problem he could feel about. Like he would have had a good idea of whether he was in danger or not with what was going on about him. The only thing or person about him now was the young human male he was with at the moment. He didn't look to be a threat to any extent. He didn't look like he was up to anything either. Perhaps he was imagining things. He supposed it was a possibility. He wasn't the type to be paranoid though so he didn't feel like that was the case. Still, he didn't think to factor anything out.
Even as Darius came to walk along with the human he was thinking on all the thoughts that had currently come to mind. His only reprieve from them were brought on when the human came to speak. There really was something about him. He had hardly minded what was said but some of the words did register in his mind. From what he actually did seem to really hear, something was said about the humans home. Something about the time. He really wasn't listening it seemed. Well, if it was important he would repeat himself. He wouldn't ask. There was something else said, about the evening. Considering it he looked up and away from the young human male he was with to look up at the area about them himself. When had it gotten dark exactly? The time seemed to go by so fast. But he did note that it seemed like the Earth here, in the location where he was now, had a pleasant enough sky. It was a decent sight. He didn't think to focus on it though as his dark amber gaze soon returned to simply keeping the human he was with in his line of sight. There didn't seem to be a need to do anything else. Though it wasn't like he wasn't minding anything else about him. He was well aware of his surroundings. He was just a bit out of it with his thoughts on the human. He wouldn't be caught off guard so easily. That just wasn't how he was.
It hadn't occurred to the Zercan to really say anything or do anything other then following and remaining close to the young human male here. It was why he was a bit surprised when the human suddenly spoke of names. It didn't seem he even needed to ask that name of the other as it was suddenly spoken. He would admit after the mention of names he was curious on the name of the young human here. Hearing what it was he took some consideration and thought over the name. Bjorn. That was his name. It sounded quite wonderful to him. He didn't believe he heard such a name before. He wondered if it had any particular meaning on this planet. Perhaps he could find out. He was thinking over it a but longer when he suddenly recalled he had been asked to give his name. Should he give it? He had no reason to keep it from him. Not one he could think of at the moment at least. "My name is Darius." He spoke, with a very faint smile settling itself upon his lips for a mere few seconds. "You have a wonderful name." That was what he thought so he stated it. He wasn't thinking to carry on a whole conversation about it. Though he wanted to add something else to it. "I like it." It was why he could say he thought it was wonderful. Now if he didn't like it why would he think positively of it at all. It all went hand in hand to him and that was all he could think to say at the moment. All he was willing to stay. Even with the pleasant feeling he had about this human, something as well he knew he was not familiar with, especially around another being,he wasn't thinking to suddenly become talkative. If anything the bit of silence that came along gave him time to think.
The longer he spent around this young male human he now knew as Bjorn, the more he realized something. He didn't know why he had to think on it to take notice of anything. No matter how he thought on it that wouldn't change how he felt on the inside. Not like an illness or painful kind of feeling. But something he was couldn't possibly mistake for anything. This human here he had to be his. It wasn't some random possessive thing he suddenly had. Well, not exactly like him just wanting the first thing he saw. No he had this feeling, this unmistakable desire, an urgent need, whenever he looked at the boy. The realization of it all came to him suddenly. He didn't need to think on it to have the sudden feeling of possessiveness come over him. Before he hadn't quite been sure of it but now he couldn't have taken it for anything else. He really must have been lucky today. To come across this human. On his very first day here. He was suddenly elated at the idea. Though his expression only revealed a sort of possessive look upon his features as he looked thoroughly over the other male he was with his dark amber orbs. He wished he could see more then he was now. It was a shame he couldn't. At least not at the moment.

Bjorn walked along, with Darius at his side. "Darius" he mused aloud, "It's a very nice name." he said with a smile. "You have a wonderfull name, I like it." Darius told him, making Bjorn blush and smile. "Thank you," he said, "it means Bear in Ancient Scandinavian." Bjorn informed Darius. This Darius certainly wasn't much of a talker, very strong and proper. They walked along, Bjorn making odd points as they walked along the road. The snow had become slightly heavier, and the stars had become brighter. The heavens let the soft white snow come falling, all the while Bjorn was in the company of his dream man. It mast have been his lucky day.
There were so many things Bjorn needed to find out about Darius. And they had a bit of walking to do. It was another 20 minutes before they reached his house. Bjorn usually wasn't this bold with people he didn't know. But he had to get to know this man, everything about him. Bjorn wanted to learn as much as he could about Darius.
"So, Darius, where are you from? And what did you enjoy doing while you were there?" Bjorn asked Darius innocently.
Bjorn hoped that wasn't a to personal question. He hoped it was general enough. And it porbably was, Bjorn was just a worrier. Darius was so interesting, but Bjorn had no idea why. It could be that Darius was the epitome of the dreams of Bjorn. It was like, someone went into his dreams and created Darius. And that made Bjorn feel like on in a million.

Darius was briefly distracted with his realizations. His thoughts went from what he thought to be a fact and to what he would do next. He realized that, if his feels and such weren't off, then he had an Earthling as his other half. It wasn't unheard of. He'd need to think on this. But before he could think on much more he heard Bjorn speak. It seemed he was thinking over his name. He complimented it. He was quite glad to hear he liked it. He smiled just a bit at that or was it the thank you he was given. He had noted that the others face seemed to redden a bit. He found he liked that. It made him appear even cuter then he had come to realize he already was. It seemed he zoned out for a moment as he thought on the others looks. It was when he heard him speak upon the meaning of his name did he come to focus a bit. So that was what Bjorn meant. It was quite the coincidence he had heard the meaning of it after wondering if it had any meaning to it. He had to wonder if the name suited him. He was aware of what a bear was. He wasn't reminded of one when he looked at the human he was with now. He wondered briefly if he was fond of his own name.
There didn't seem to be much to say at the moment or maybe it was because Darius normally didn't say much. Perhaps he should have commented on his name. But he didn't think it right to say he didn't see the name matching. He still liked it. He found the way it sounded was nice all together. Other then that he wasn't sure what to say. Besides his attention being set upon the male in he walked with he did still keep note of other things. Like the weather. It had started to snow at some point in time earlier. He hadn't minded it much. But with his simple whit shirt and black pants he couldn't help but notice it now. Not just from its look. But from the feel. Regardless of his thoughts and feelings being set on something entirely different then the weather his boy wasn't so thoughtless. Or rather it didn't ignore the cold like his mind did. He couldn't deny it, he was cold. But he would never say anything on it. He wasn't the type to complain. Not that there was anyone to complain to. If anything he would just come to take up the jacket he had with him in the bag he still had on his shoulder. He wondered for a moment if the weather would always be cold like this. If it was he was highly under dressed here. With the clothes he brought along. He supposed he would have to make due. He refused to leave because of that. In comparison to whether he wanted to stay on a planet whee his other half was the decision was made hands done. He would stay here no matter what happened. As long as the one he felt was his, his other half, he would be going nowhere.
Where were they going again? Darious briefly wondered this as he realized he had been so lost in thought on everything it slipped his mind. With the things he was carrying though it was quick to come back that he was heading towards the home of the human he was with now. He would help him carry this to his home and then what? He wasn't sure. He didn't care to go anywhere but then he realized he had nowhere to go but his ship. It seemed he would have no choice unless he had a place to stay in the city tonight. He would be facing the rather long walk back to his ship a ways from town. That would be a pain. He would just have to change to shorten his trip. He would keep out of sight and be there in no time. He would hope he didn't have to go back but if it came down to it that was his only option really. In the morning he would come back and look for the human again. It seemed like it was all he could do and he still refused to just leave due to any difficulty he faced. He would really put up with whatever came his way to stay here.
Now the didn't think to dwell on what he felt he needed to do the rest of the walk. In fact he hadn't really had the chance to keep thinking. Hearing Bjorn speak put a stop to that being a possibility. It seemed the human was actually asking where he was from and what he enjoyed while he was there. What should he say? Could he admit he was from another world? He could but should he? No it was far too soon. He had heard stories of other Zercan's coming to this planet. Laying such information on a human was never a wise idea. It was best to just take it one step at a time and see where things went. "I'm from a place far away from here." That wasn't a lie, he really wanted to avoid doing that, so he said that much. "While I was there I enjoyed going about here and there." That was really vague. He was thinking how he liked to be in his other form and freely go about when he could. However that wasn't something he thought he should say. He imagined it sounded like he liked traveling. That wouldn't have been a lie. Hopefully it was taken as that otherwise he would say such himself. He considered saying a bit more but then he answered all the questions asked about him. What more was there to say? Well, he would have liked to hear a bit about the youth here. Perhaps he could ask.
"Are you originally from this city?" The name slipped his mind now so Darius left it with just asking about the city and not mentioning its name. He considered saying more but wasn't so sure what to say. That's what happened with his like of conversation. When he had a chance to talk he didn't know what to say. He was never one to really keep a conversation going. He did suddenly come up with a question but wondered if that was alright to ask such. It seemed ab it too soon with them just meeting. As much as Darius may have wanted the human here he could really do nothing more then go along with the pace that seem to set itself. He would just have to wait patiently. Though he only had so much patience he felt he could wait as long as he could when it came to this human.

Bjorn thought quietly, as he listened to Darius. He really wasn't much of a talker, somthing Bjorn wasn't use to. But oh well, Bjorn was fand of the non talkative Darius. Some much seemed to be happening in such a short time. Bjorn had never met someone as amazing as Darius. Bjorn had to concoct a plan and fast. He didn't have much time to work with, they were growing closer to his house. What did he have to work with? A bag! Darius had a bag! That must of meant he didn't have proper lodging. Bjorn could work with that. He'd ask Darius to stay at his house. That way....not only could Bjorn get to know him better, so could his mother! It was genius.
Bjorn recived the response to his question, but it was a bit to vauge. Far away place? Go back and forth? Oh well, who was Bjorn to pry. "That sounds lovely." Bjorn said with a soft smile. "Feel free to say anything you like, I won't judge you." Bjorn said happily. He really wanted Daruis to feel comfortable around him. But at the same time.....didn't want to scare him away. That would be terrible!
Bjorn heard the man ask him if he was originally from the city. "Yes, I was born and raised here in Reykjavik. And so were my parents." Bjorn hoped Darius would ask him more questions. Probably because Bjorn liked answering questions......but more so, because Bjorn liked hearing the sound of Darius' voice.

Darius hoped his answers weren't going to be questioned. He supposed he could say more if he was asked. He actually expected that he might be. However instead he found that Bjorn seemed to accept his answers. His very vague answers. Did he really accept it? He wondered that question as he kept his dark amber gaze on the young human male he was with. Did he meant what he said? That he could say whatever he wanted and he wouldn't judge. Bjorn really seemed to be quite a wonderful human. Just as he would hope his other half would be. Not to say he had an ideal image of any sort really. It was just he thought everything about his mate would be perfect. Not that he set any standards. Perfection was however his other half was. He didn't think a thing about it in detail. He really didn't care to. How could he went he felt so strongly about all this. His entire being, including his inner beast, told him exactly how he felt about all this. He didn't need to even consider question it.
With what was said by Bjorn Darius tried to think of more to say. He wanted to know more about the human he was with now. He had to learn more. He was remotely aware of how things were with humans and it was a must. Not just that but it was a personal thing he wanted to do. He said nothing at first as he came to simply listen to what Bjorn had to say towards his question. So he had lived here his whole life. He made a mental note of that. That meant he would not be use to traveling. He didn't intend to stay on this planet. But he would have to take that into consideration when he came to convince Bjorn to leave with him. He did intend to do so at some point. For now though he didn't need to think so far ahead. He had to take this one step at a time instead of taking such a large step right away. It was impossible to do anyways. He had to say something more now. "Can you tell me a bit about yourself?" It was a simple enough question that didn't strike anything personal. Although he wanted to know all there was to know about the young human male here he was sure that wouldn't be happening unless he got really lucky but otherwise he assumed it to be quite unlikely. He supposed he could always hope but he wasn't going to go doing anything that would hurt his chances here. Even if it were a mere possibility.
Even with the question asked that seemed to be quite vague but open he considered saying more. It seemed unfortunate to him still he was no conversationalist and it wasn't something that would change even with the current situation. He just wondered if Bjorn thought negatively of his lack of talking. Considering that with a bit of worry he thought to say something without giving it much thought. "Feel free to ask me whatever you would like to." That was something he very well reconsidered after speaking it. But he had said it and thus wouldn't be taking it back. Well, if he couldn't mention it he just would try to avoid saying an exact answer. A vague answer was what he imagined he would have to give. It was at least something there and he didn't think to keep his other half from knowing about him. He would genuinely answer all his questions in due time. He just had to proceed with things carefully until he felt he could speak to him about what he had in mind. Saying the entire truth would just make him look bad. He knew how humans were. He knew what was said about them at least. He was taking no chance with doing something that would make Bjorn dislike or hate him. The very thought actually caused him to feel...horrified. Well, something similar to that if not that exactly. He just couldn't see things without this human he was with now.

Bjorn hoped he wasn't prying. He had just met Darius, and really had no right asking him such in depth questions. All of Darius' questions did seem a small bit vauge, but Bjorn guessed that's just the way he was. Oh well, Bjorn was growing quite fond of this red-headed stranger as the minutes went on. Bjorn wondered how Darius felt about him. Was he fond of him, too? Bjorn hoped so, and be the way things were going, he thought he knew pretty well. Bjorn hoped that Darius wouldn't think of him strangely when he asked him to stay. Bjorn would try his hardest to play the part of sweet host, hoping he would reveal his true feelings.
Bjorn heard Darius ask to tell him about himself. That was fairly easy. "Well, I grew up in Iceland. I have three brothers who live abroad, I live with my mother. I'm the youngest of the four. My father passed away when I was a young boy. It's not a sensitive thing, so don't worry." Bjorn said with a small laugh. He did miss his father, but had excepted that he was in a better place. "I also like to sing, and play the piano. I also like to slow dance, but don't do it." Bjorn laughed. He noticed a small smile come from Darius.
As they continued walking down the road Bjorn heard Darius say that he could ask him anything. "Well, do you have any parents? Any brothers or sisters? What was life like where you were from. Oh, and what brings you to Iceland?" Those were innocent enough questions right? Bjorn hoped so. The thought of scaring away this dream walking next to him, horrified Bjorn more so than anyone could imagine.

Darius was sure to listen intently towards what he heard Bjorn had to sat. He was answering his questions so why would he even think to ignore him. It seemed he learned a decent amount here. The human had grew up in the...country. He had family and was one of four children his mother had. Who he happened to live with alone from the sounds of it. That answered a question he had yet to ask. After the mention of all this family he had to wonder if he lived with anyone. He was after all heading to his home. It seemed like a sensible thing to wonder. If he hadn't mentioned it he would have asked but seeing he did there was no need. It was unfortunate to hear the others father was deceased. That was one less family member he had to come across and someone he could imagine his other half would miss. That very fact saddened him a bit but it seemed Bjorn was quick to move onto mentioning more about himself and he minded this as it was spoken. So the youth like to sing, play piano, and dance. He would keep this in mind. It was really wonderful to hear about him. He wondered what more there was to know that he had yet to hear.
It seemed the mention of coming to ask questions was one the young human male here didn't think to let slip. It didn't seem long after he had spoken that the other had come to speak the questions that must have come to mind. He couldn't come to not answer anything so he chose to reply to everything to some extent if not entirely. "I do have parents and I just have one older sister. Making me the youngest." He answered those two questions in one as he thought that the family related question just went together. "Where I'm from is much different from here." That way he spoke it sounded like he referred to the current city they were in but he referred to the planet. "The people where I'm from are much more open to others." He means they were open to other planets as Earth was certainly not. Thinking there was no other life out there and all. "The forests are is lush and green with vegetation and it has gorgeous deep blue waters." That seemed the best way to describe the landscape without having to show it. "Then there's absolutely no pollution." Far different from what Earth had but then when he considered the planets in comparison he would only think it was somewhat similar to Earth in the manner it had the same basic things that the planet had originally had on it's own. "I came here because I...I was hoping to explore." That wasn't precisely the choice words he had in mind. It wasn't the actual reason or not the entire reason. He had partially told the truth. He had wanted to explore but only with the purpose of finding his other half. That was as far as it went. It wasn't like he was lying at all he just hadn't said everything. He briefly wondered if Bjorn had anything more to say or ask. He tried to think of something more to say but came up with nothing.
At the moment dark amber orbs looked thoughtfully at their surroundings. He briefly wondered how far they were from his home. He both looked forward to helping and dreaded when they would reach the others home. A that point he was sure he would have to part ways with Bjorn and head back to his ship. It was the last thing he wanted to do but he had to do something and this was all that he could do until he found a place to stay in the city here. Perhaps Talim could help with that or maybe he should address one of the people about the city tomorrow. Right now he really didn't see anyone about as he walked along with the other. He had a bit of regret with not talking with anyone earlier but then when he considered it a bit more he had to wonder if he would have been where he had been when he met with Bjorn earlier. Considering that bit he had no regrets and came to accept that he would be heading back to his ship for the night and coming back in the morning. As long as he had the chance to see the young human male here it didn't matter and he refused to let anyone get in his way when it came to such.

Where ever Darius came from sounded lovely! Bjorn had never seen a forest before, he was curious at to what it was like. Of course he had seen pictures in books, but with everything....the real had to be much better. "Where ever you come from sounds lovely! Perhaps I could visit sometime? I've not done much in the wya of travling." Bjorn said absent mindedly. He really would like to visit this place, hopefully it didn't cost to much money. Bjorn wondered why Darius had left his family and came to a foriegn place. It must have been hard, leaving everything you've ever know for some place that holds no promises. For some reason a strange thought came into his head, could you do it? Bjorn had no idea where it come from and shrugged it off directly.
So Darius did fave a family, that was nice. Everyone should have a family, Bjorn was very close to his. And a sister! Bjorn had always wanted a sister, but sort of became like the sister of the family. It was nice to know that Darius was also the baby in the family, allthough Darius didn't seem like the sweet baby type. He had also come to explore, will that was simple enough, Iceland has an interesting history, so who wouldn't want to explore.
Before they realized it, they were walking down the street to Bjorns house. This was where the rubber met the road. They inched closer and closer to Bjorns front gate. Bjorn was begining to breat out in a nervous blush. This was it.
"Well, we're at my house." Bjorn said quietly. They just stood around awkwardly for a few minutes finally Bjorn said what he needed.
"Listen, I notice you have a bag around your shoulder. That leads me to belive that you don't have a place to stay. And you're not dressed to survive the cold nights, so it play out like this......you've been so kind to me, helping me with my things in my time of need. So, in order to repay you, would you like to stay in my house tonight?"

Darius was glad to hear that Bjorn seemed to like the description of his home world. He fully intended to take him there one day. He didn't even consider remaining on this planet. Not with all he knew about it. Not with all he heard about it. He wondered how anyone who was from another world could remain on this planet. He was sure that anyone that had the chance to leave this planet would. But then he didn't consider that anyone may be happy where they are now. Perhaps if he considered that he would have considered that the human he was with now may not want to come. Having not considered it now though he brushed the thought on leaving aside. It would be awhile before that happened and there was no need to dwell on wasn't going to be just yet when he needed to consider what he should do now.
One of the things that Darius thought he should have in mind now was what he should possibly say at the moment. Lacking words to say to the other really seemed to be a major problem. Though he never considered his lack of being talkative to ever be a problem before. He supposed it would only come to really be a problem if Bjorn told him he did not like him for that. It really was just the way he was. However if Bjorn thought badly of that he would either convince him that it wasn't necessarily a bad trait of his or he would have to adapt to being a way that would be liked by the human. He really wasn't sure about the latter or the first for that matter so he sincerely hoped that there would be no problems between him and the other here. But he thought he shouldn't let his thoughts wander too much as he considered saying something to Bjorn. "I'm sure you will get a chance some day." He spoke this thinking that as long as he went with him he would. But then it was an if he didn't like to think on.
Darius wasn't sure how much time passed but it seemed they had come to their destination. He stopped as he saw Bjorn stopped and looked upon the building he assumed to be the home of the young human male he was with. He assumed he would be leaving these things in the house or with the boy if he didn't care to let him carry the things inside. He wasn't expecting what was said then or what was asked at the end. He found himself turning his dark amber gaze on the human he was with. Had he heard correctly? His human really seemed observant. He noted that much or assumed that much. "I was in need of a place to stay." He spoke, thinking to confirm what the youth assumed. "Id appreciate the offer and accept." He did need a place to stay if he didn't want to go all the way back to his ship. Besides he had a chance to be closer to Bjorn this way. He was overjoyed at the chance to be able to do this. He couldn't help but smile as he looked at Bjorn now. An action he had rarely done in the presence of others but found himself doing more often in front of the other here. He considered how he could thank the other for allowing him to stay but then recalling the exact words said he didn't really need to thank someone who was thanking him with a particular action. Still he wanted to do something to show how he appreciated it. But he had nothing in mind now. He would need to think on it a bit to figure it out. Hopefully he could come up with something.
