Michael snickered and stood. "I think so. I usually make breakfast, though. My dad has cholesterol problems, so I try to make him eat healthy things. I think we have some Cheerios, but I, personally, don't like the taste. I could make some bacon and eggs if you'd like. Or pancakes, or French Toast, or something," he offered, leading the other boy into the kitchen.

"Mmm," he mumbled, closing his eyes and scrunching up his shoulders happily. "That sounds wonderful."
"Let's do that. Bacon, eggs, pancakes... french toast?... and waffles and maybe some fruit salad. It'll be deliscious."

Michael turned to give Ruaidri a wide-eyed look. "All of that? Can you eat all of that?" he asked in surprise. He moved to the wrecked pantry and picked a frying pan up from the floor where it had fallen before going to the sink to wash it off.

The Zerca laughed. "Of course. I haven't really eaten anything since, hm, two days ago. Except that fruit. Like you, humans seem to think that I like raw meat. That's so disgusting," he muttered as he started bouncing some sort of strange purple fruit in his hands. It had been laying in a bowl with other strange purple fruit.
Rauidri placed that fruit back and walked up behind his mate. The boy was washing a frying pan.
"Want me to help you cook anything?" he asked, a hand raising to rest comfortably on Michael's waist.

Michael blushed darkly, his body becoming stiff. No one besides his father had ever been so familiar with him. The dark-haired boy glanced at Ruaidri from the corner of his eye before staring down at the frying pan he was cleaning. "Ah... no... it's fine," he stuttered out quietly. "Just... make sure you get that shelf fixed before my father gets home. That's all you really have to worry about. I can handle everything else... but I don't know how to work on anything like that."

He laughed lightly, amused both at Michael's blush and the fact that he didn't know how to fix things up.
"Well, I'll have to teach you some things later. For now, I'll fix it myself while you cook." Rauidri had the urge to kiss his mate then, but was not sure how he would take it. On one hand, he figured, they were mates and the human should become used to that really soon. On the other hand, he did not want to upset Michael. The Zercan settled with squeezing the boy's waist before walking over to the pantry to start repairing his mess.

Michael's blush did not improve. He nodded once before taking his now clean pan from the sink to dry it off with a towel. "I think... there are some tools in the garage. It's through the door at the end of the hall," he explained softly before setting the frying pan on the range. He went to the fridge and started to pull out all the things that he would need.

"Great," the teen murmured. "Thanks." He had just been about to ask about tools, and here his mate was already reading his mind. It was so cool! The brunette glanced over at the human, smiling slightly.
Red stood up from the floor and headed for the garage. He was back in minutes with some tools to fix everything. First he had to sort of out all the different boxes of food. They all had strange names, but he didn't have time to figure out what they were. As the kitchen filled with deliscious smells, Rauidri finished fixing the pantry as good as new.

After frying up the bacon and eggs, Michael started on the pancakes, only making one small batch, before making a few slices of French Toast. Every once in awhile, he would glance over at the stranger in his pantry. However much he tried, he couldn't quite make himself think of the other as a stranger. There was, as the other had said before, something that was drawing them together. If anyone else had done the things that Ruaidri had done to him, Michael would definetly have acted differently. He would not have been so calm. He sighed in resignation before flipping a piece of bread.

Hearing a sigh, Rauidri glanced over curiously. He was placing the last boxes in the pantry when he heard his mate make that noise.
The boy finished up and set the tools aside. "Everything smells wonderful. You're quite the little cook, hm?" he grinned as he walked up beside Michael.

Michael glanced up, a small smile lifted his face before he turned to stare shyly back down into the frying pan. "I... guess so. I haven't really had much of a choice but to improve. My father can't cook at all, so I'm the only one that can feed us. We can't afford to eat out a lot," he explained before changing the subject swiftly from financial status. "The food is almost finished. Go ahead and get cleaned up," he offered, scooping the French toast onto the spatula to drop it on the plate with the rest of their breakfast.

"I see," he said quietly.
The subject was changed quickly. He squeezed Michael's shoulder lightly.
"Alright. You want me to get plates, drinks?" he asked and started washing his hands.

Michael hummed affirmatively as he picked up the two plates worth of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and French toast. "The plates are in the cabinet just to your right," he informed the other before setting the burdens down on the table. He moved to a cupboard nearby and took down two cups. "What do you want to drink? Water, milk, orange juice, or apple juice?"

"Um," the Zercan opened the cabinet. "Orange juice."
He brought out a couple big plates for their yummy looking breakfast. After glasses were filled and plates covered, the two young men were sitting quietly around the table. Well, more or less quietly. Rauidri did not have the best manners when he realized how hungry he actually was.... He was halfway down when Michael was barely starting.
"This is great, Michael. Wonderful," he said when his mouth was empty for a moment.

Michael bit his lip to keep from laughing. "And here I doubted how hungry you really were," he stated lightly, "How silly of me!" The dark-haired boy took a bite of syrup-drenched bacon and grinned happily. "I'm glad you like it!"
