Skirting the Issue (open thread)

Nei smiled nervously, laughing softly. "Umm... Well... We went down to... to the lake... We fell in...," he mumbled, wrapping his arms around himself to try to get warm.

[Nero Initium]

Sarah shook her head, “Well you better go get dried, dinner is in about 15 mins, okay”
Nero smiled and caught hold of Nei’s hand and pulled him along,
“Come on, we don’t wanna miss her dinner,”

[Neimo]

Nei smiled at Sarah as he passed, trying to be polite. "Alright! Alright! I'm coming!" he said with a laugh. "I wonder what's for dinner?" he asked softly, to nobody.

[Nero Initium]

Nero laughed,
“I didn’t tell you who Sarah is. Sarah’s like a maid, she takes care of everything in the house.”
Nero pulled Nei towards a door, he stopped, opened the door. He grabbed a towel and threw it to Nei

Nei barely caught the towel before it hit his face. He sighed before running the towel over himself, trying to dry off. "Thank you...," he mumbled.

[Nero Initium]

“You’re welcome,” Nero smiled at Nei as he dried himself off.
“Now let’s go eat dinner, I have no idea what Sarah made. But it must be good,”

[Neimo]

Nei laughed lightly. "It must be? Why is that?" he asked as he ran the towel through his hair.

[Nero Initium]

Nero smiled, “Well, Sarah’s a really good cook. You see.”
He finished drying himself off, and stuffed his towel in the basket behind the door.
“Done?”

[Neimo]

Nei finished drying himself off and nodded. "Yeah," he mumbled before placing the damp towel in the same basket that Nero had put his in. "So... Shall we eat?" he asked lightly.

[Nero Initium]

Nero smiled, as he closed the door. He grabbed Nei’s hand and pulled him up a stairway, as soon as they reached the landing, Nero pulled Nei through a corridor, until they got to a huge oak door,
“This,” Nero pushed the door open, “is the dinning hall”

[Neimo]

Nei looked into the room and gaped. "Wow... this is really nice...," he mumbled.

[Nero Initium]

Nero grinned, "I know it is," He grabbed Nei's arm (he seemed to be doing that a lot lately) and pull him into the room.
