Adish blushed. "Oh... I'm sorry!" he replied quickly, taking the plate from Kinome and scooping up the other one as well. "But seriouly... please, leave it to me..." he asked before taking the plates over to the couple. "I'm sorry! I was so caught up in talking with you that I didn't notice that your food was ready! I hope it isn't cold, I'm not sure how long it's been there!"

Kinome blinked after Adish, rather stunned at the abrupt departure before hopping back over to the bar. He slid into a seat, glancing sideways at Adish. Agatha and her husband both smiled at Adish. "Don't worry about it, sweeyheart." Agatha stated reaching over fro one of the plates. "Everyone needs to be granted a learning curve."

Adish chuckled lightly. "Ehehehe... Thanks, ma'am!" After making sure they had everything they needed, he moved back to stand next to Kinome. "So... How are you feeling?" he asked softly. "Not ill, I hope..."

Kinome scowled at Adish, rather ruffled at the treaqtment he was getting. "I'm not sick." He snapped. "It's only a cracked bone. Stop acting as if I'm going to drop over and die any second now" He turned away grabbing a cup and proceeding to make something to drink. He resetnted the was he was being treated as a complete invalid when he had grown accustomed to taking care fo both himself and his father.

Adish frowned. What had happened? Kinome was happy before, wasn't he? "I... I'm sorry... I just... I was just trying to make sure you weren't in pain or anything...," he stated defensively. "Sorry for caring," he mumbled sarcastically under his breath.

* Kinome scowled at the comment, hurt coursing through him. He decided to ignore it and pretend it had not hurt. He finished making tow hot chocolates in awkward silence before sliding one over towards Adish, slipping money into the till.*

Adish watched Kinome from the corner of his eye as he sulked. Why was Kinome being mean to him again? It wasn't fair! Wasn't his mate supposed to be nice to him? He started in surprise when a cup of hot, dark liquid was passed to him. "Uh..... Th-thank you....," he said softly, grasping the cup and looking down at it. He glanced up at Kinome and blushed lightly. "Wh.... What is it?" he asked softly in embarressment. They didn't have this on Parinenai...

He swallowed, taking a few breaths before speaking. "It's hot chocolate." He stated softly. "It's a drink... it's not poisonous or anything."

Adish blinked. "I... didn't think it was... I just... haven't ever seen anything like this before... except for coffee... I've seen that... but I didn't like it...," he explained softly before taking a sip. "Owie!" he yelped, jerking back and setting the cup on the counter before putting his hands to his mouth. "Thah's... reahhy hot...," he whined.

Kinome giggled muffling the sound with a hand in front of his face. “It’s supposed to be hot, silly. That’s why it’s called HOT chocolate.” He reached under the counter and scooped some ice into a glass filling it with water before sliding it over towards Adish… “Here, that might help. Be more careful next time!” He smiled at Adish.

Adish blushed lightly at his own stupidity and nodded. Instead of drinking from the cup of ice water, he stuck out his tongue and let it sit in the cooled liquid.... He could have sworn he saw some steam from where he got burned....

Kinome raised an eyebrow at the rather ridiculous sight. His lip quirked in a half smile. "I meant for you to drink it." He pointed out softly. " Not stick youir tongue into it... The hot chocolate can't have been that hot could it?" He frowned at his own glass in worry before sticking his tongue in to test it and flick the tongue back out of the glass, a frown creasing between his eyebrows.

Kinome chuckled lightly. "That's because it is hot." He cocked his head to the side. "Give me a minute." He reached towards the cold milk and pouring some of the hot liquid out he poured in the milk sliding the cup back. "It should be better now."

Adish blushed, smiling sheepishly. "Thank you very much...," he mumbled, taking the cup back. He hesitantly took a sip, grinning happily when he found the drink to be at a more standable temperature. "Yum!" he exclaimed, "You guys drink stuff like this all the time? I'll have to take some home with me!"
