He smiled down at Pheonix contently and started stroking his hair. "Anything for you," he murmured.

He turned a bit, careful not to spill what was left of his milk and smiled. "You're sweet," he commented, nibbling on his cracker again. The saltiness clung to his lips and he licked them, finishing off the rest of his food.

"So are you," he smiled. He leaned down to kiss the red head lightly, tasting the salt and cheese on Pheonix's mouth. "Very sweet. But a little salty, too. And cheesey," he said in mock thoughtfullness.

Pheonix laughed outright. "Well, you are a bit cheesy too, but I didn't want to say anything." He stuck out his tongue in playfullness.

He nodded and licked his lips again. "Kind of like that new popcorn....I tried it the other day when my mom bought it." He snuggled up against Cleons stomach and sighed, tracing patterns on the boys robes. Suddenly he turned to face him again. "Kiss me again," he requested, smiling softly. "I like when you do..."

Cleon nodded silently, and happily complied. This time he took his time, though. Drawing it out, but making it as gentle as before. He stroked Pheonix's face gently as he pulled away. "I like when I do, too," he murmured.

He closed his eyes and enjoyed the kiss, enjoyed the way Cleon drew it out and made his lips tingle. Pheonix sighed when it ended, blushing a light pink as Cleon stroked him. "That's good....I think I could live on your kisses," He murmured thoughtlessly before turning beet red. Yes...that wasn't meant to come out of his mouth.... He wrapped his arms around Cleons waist and buried his face in his stomach.

The teen wrapped his arms around his mate, amused at what had just happend. He leaned down next to Pheonix's ear, whispering, "Ditto." Cleon kissed the other boy's cheek before holding him closer.

Pheonix shivered in his embrace and smiled to himself. Atleast they were thinking on the same terms. He didn't sound like such an idiot now. Of course...now that he thought of it, it hadn't been such a bad thing to say...just something that was true...He loved Cleon so much that he believed he could live on anythign the boy gave him. Whether it be affection or outright love.

Cleon shifted slightly to get more comfy. It was nice just being able to lay here and cuddle. He was not sure how much time they have to cuddle when they were finally home. His family would want to hang out to get to know Pheonix, of course, and he would have to introduce him to the villages and everything. Plus, they would be staying at his parents' house until they could get their house built. So there was not much time for just them. But no use thinking about that now, when they were able to have alone time.

Pheonix just lay, allowing Cleon to adjust his position before snuggling back in. He was no longer hungry, nor was he tired. He just liked to sit and cuddle with his mate. Cleon was warm and always had some sort of comforting words for him. His mind returned to the idea of meeting Cleons family and he sighed, biting his lip. "I watched movied where the kids are always asking, 'Are we there yet, are we there yet?' I feel like doing that," he murmured quietly, smiling a little.

Cleon laughed quietly. "We still have a little over twenty two hours," he answered. "It will be awhile before we are there."

Twenty two hours.....Almost one whole day.....! If he were tired he'd suggest sleeping it away...but he wasn't so he didn't. "A long while," he mused, reaching up to take a lock of Cleons hair into his hand. He played with it, braiding it as far as he could before gently taking it out, starting all over again and threading miscellaneous thread around his fingers.

Cleon smiled. Pheonix's fingers felt nice when they were braiding his hair.
