Gabby nodded, smiling shyly at the waitress and giving her the orders, getting chicken noodle soup for himself, Dami, and Jixin. "You guys'll like this soup, especially here! This place makes the best soup!" he exclaimed, back in a slightly happy mood.

Damijan and Jixin just sort of nodded in argeement. Chicken noddle wasn't really something they had before because their mom was never into Earth foods. It was mostly the natural foods food on Parinenai or some meat.

It was mostly quiet as they waited for their food, no one really being able to think of anything to say. Or it they did, the conversation would be short lived and awkward. Once the food arrived, Gabby dug in gratefully. At least now the silence wouldn't be so...weird.

Picking up his spoon, Dami put some of his mouth to taste it. There was a short pause before his eyes widened and he looked up somewhat excitedly. "This is good!" he exclaimed. "How do you make it?"

Gabby giggled happily. "I'm glad you like it!" He took a small sip of the hot soup before stirring it around to try and cool it down so he could really eat it. "I don't know how they make it.... I just use the cans of it at home...." He blushed sheepishly and started eating.

Damijan looked down into his soup, trying to analyze its insides. Jixin laughed at his brother and looked over at the other two; a thought just coming to him. "So...Who are you again?"

Gabby blushed. "Ah! I'm sorry I didn't introduce you!" he cried. "This is Mandy, and that's Xander. They're friends of mine. Guys, this is Jixin, Dami's brother." He smiled sheepishly before going back to eating. Mandy grinned and waved at the Wizard, while Xander just nodded and went back to his sandwhich.

Jixin waved as well before going back to his meal, just as Dami finished his. He pushed away the bowl slightly to rest his arm against the table. He looked down into his empty bowl distractedly. "Hm..." He was still pondering the mystery of the chicken soup, it seemed.

Gabby finished up his soup with a contented sigh, leaning back in his seat and placing a hand over his full stomach. He glanced over at Dami, who was deep in thought, and placed a hand on his mate's shouler. "Dami? You okay? What's wrong?"

Dami looked up somewhat startled before smiling sheepishly. "Um...Yeah. I was just thinking about the soup," he admitted, shrugging. "I like cooking..."
The older Wizard beside him laughed and nodded. "He does. Makes pretty goo dessert. Speaking of...Can we get stuff to-go here? We should probably be getting back soon because we have to make a small drop off in Jeskara. It'll hardly take that long, but it is a bit off course," he said.
"I totally forgot about Yeetii's ship, didn't I? Damn...We can just drop in in the port under his name though, so..." The pale haired teen groaned. "Okay."

Gabby blinked at them, lost from their conversation again. He didn't bother asking now though; he knew it was something that couldn't be explained easily in front of his friends.

Jixin smiled as he stood, looking at Gabriel's friends. "Well, it was nice to meet you. We must get going though," he said with an apologetic face.

Gabby hugged Mandy and Xander before leaving the cafe with Dami and Jixin. He smiled sadly up at his mate. "So... are we going to walk there? Or are you going to do that weird transporting thingie?"

Damijan opened his mouth to answer, but saw the sadness in Gabriel's look. Scooping the other into a hug, he buried his face into the Human's neck. "What's wrong? Do...do you not want to go?" he asked softly.

Gabby sniffled. "No! I do! Honest!... It's just... they've been my friends for a long time..." He sniffled quietly, hugging Dami tightly to him before continueing, "I'm gonna miss them, but I really do want to come with you!"
