Step and Slide

[Amoris]

Amoris was about to tell Akia that he really hadn't minded the other's behaviour, that he was proud in a way...but that stranger came up. The one from before...And he was claiming to be one of Akia's parents.

The brunette wasn't really sure what to do or say. Was it a trick? ...Or was the man being sincere? He knew that his mate wanted to know and it would probably sadden him if the man was lying.

So he settled on just asking, "Who are you...?"

The sapphire-eyed man just nodded recognition for the young man in front of him, whom he supposed was his son's mate.

"Forgive my intrusion. My name is Palidan. I'm an old friend of Shubitya." His smiled then turned serious, "What I say is true. The young man next to you that you call your mate, Amoris Chilton, is mine and Hoshi's, son."

"He does speak the truth, Amoris."

It was at that moment, Master Shibbs appeared from his secret viewing place of the previous scene. Palidan is a Jshiko that, might I add, graduated with top honors from this school, and his mate, Hoshi, is a Wizard, specifically a High Lord of Parinenai."

After some silence, letting this new and shocking information become known to him, Akia spoke in a meek, almost frightened voice.

"Do you have any proof that you are my...father?"

Palidan turned and approached the white-haired youth, "There is nothing to be frightened of, I know this must be a lot to take in. Here." The older man placed a small disk in Akia's hand. It was a holographic disk and as Palidan pressed a button, an image of a young man became clear. He was indeed beautiful with long flowing snow white hair, a slender build similar to Akia's, and alluring blood ruby eyes. Akia watched the image with wide blue eyes. "W-who is this?"

Palidan smiled again, "That is my mate, your father, your life-giver, Hoshi Akaru.

Amoris looked between the image and the man standing besides them. Yes, if you put the two of them together, their son would probably come out looking like Akia. It was amazing. Though, he did wonder what would happen now that the family was to be reunited...or something like that.

Another question he had involved his master. The Jshiko turned and looked at the black haired man in confusion. "Master, you knew this the whole time? Why didn't you mention it then? I mean, you knew Akia was curious...," he asked.

Shubitya frowned. "Actually, before Palidan came to visit, it never crossed my mind. Only until after we had talked did the idea come to me. I was still unsure though, so you see..."

The brunette nodded a bit. "Yeah, I see...," he said slowly, turning to look at his mate still on his lap or his apparent father-in-law..."So you've found each other..."

Akia kept his eyes locked with the ruby holographic gaze, long after the image faded. Half of him was excited and happy to finally have found out who his real parents are. But he couldn't help but feel sad, and a few small tears fall down his cheeks. Without looking up, he looked up at Palidan, eyes sparkling with his tears. "If you are my parents, why did you leave me on Earth alone. Didn't you want me as your son?"

Palidan was surprised beyond words at this new development, Earth of course, it was the one place he didn't look. Quickly he pulled his son into a loving embrace the first one he'd ever given his son. "Trust me, son I wanted to so much I looked all over the galaxy but when a mere child is thrown into exile there a slim to none they even survive. But I never stopped hoping, I know neither has Hoshi."

[Amoris]

Amoris sighed and scooted out for underneath Akia, so the other could give his father a proper hug. Actually, he was tempted to leave, but was unsure if Akia would need him later. Not to mention he had picked up on something rather interesting...

"What do you mean, 'exile'?" he asked, frowning. His mate had been on Earth for an obviously long amount of time and what crime could a baby have possibly committed?

Seeing as Palidan didn't feel comfortable talking about such a topic, Shubitya spoke in his stead, placing a calming hand on the brunette's shoulder.

"As you already know Amoris, people from Jeskara are not well liked with the Wizards of Parinenai, they are some say afraid of us, however, because someone as high in the social society as Hoshi, to have an affair with a Jshiko, the child to come out of such a union would be considered impure, corrupted, in the eyes of the other Wizards and must be either be killed or sent to exile."

[Amoris]

Amoris was slightly shocked by this and wrapped an arm around his mate's waist. "But...Akia was only a child...It makes no sense. Why...?"

He shook his head and looked over at the silver haired boy with a smile. "But Akia is one of the most pure people I know. He even shines!" he exclaimed, leaning over just enough to peck the other on his cheek. "That's a rather stupid rule or whatever...Will they try to exile him again if Akia goes back to Parinenai?"

To say Akia was surprised by Amoris' sudden movements and out burst would be an understatement. His cheeks burned as Amoris' talked and wondered if this was how Amoris felt when Akia talked to Amoris' parents about him.

Palidan also surprised but it was understanding that his son's mate would be upset, for he also was upset when learned his first-born was pulled from his mate's womb, and exiled. "No one's has ever tried that before, but perhaps you're right Chilton, it would hopefully give us a chance to prove to Wizards that people of Jeskara no different from them." Then his eyes focused back on Akia. "What do you say, my son, Akia," Palidan was still getting used to calling his son this name, "Would you like to see the place of your birth."

Akia looked up at Palidan in a new light, as his father. His arms though travelled down carressing Amoris' arms, which were still tightened around him.

"I will go, but only if Amoris comes with me. He introduced me to his parents, I should be able to do the same."

[Amoris]

Amoris smiled widely and threaded his fingers through Akia’s beautiful hair. “Of course I’ll come with you. Even if Palidan…Erm, your father…said I couldn’t, I would follow you. I’d follow you to the ends of the world, Akia,” he said softly.

He thought for moment before adding on, “Unless you didn’t want me to go, but you do want me to go this time so I’m going.” After all, he didn’t want to disrespect any of his mate’s wishes if the smaller young man hadn’t wanted him there.

Akia tightened his grip on Amoris' arms, as his mate laced his hands through his white hair. He almost broke down crying as he heard Amoris speaking. And he just couldn't control his body's action. Akia turned around in Amoris' arms and threw his arms around his mate, burying his face in Amoris' soft brown locks and shoulder. "Thank you, Amoris. I love you so much." The boy released for not but a brief moment when he came back in to kiss Amoris, with as much passion as he could muster.

Palidan watched the young couple embrace. It was no doubt to him that this was Hoshi's son. Akia even cried and hugged the same way. He wanted so much to see his mate again, and watching the couple brought back memories of when they were together.

Swallowing his pride and a deep sob, Palidan announced, "Well, I guess it's settled, that is if it's ok with your master, Chilton. Never the less, it will take me at least three days time to get my ship ready for us all, right now it's only equipped for one person."

[Amoris]

Amoris patted Akia gently on the back when the other let him go with a breathless smile. “It is no problem, really. I love you too,” he said. “Besides, I would love to meet your parents if you want me too.”

The Jshiko glanced over at Master Shubitya with a questioning look. The older man grinned slightly and tried to put on a disgruntled look, but it didn’t come out so well. “Yes, fine…Leave. Leave right after returning, eh?” the teacher replied before laughing.

The brunette nodded, turning his head towards Palidan. “So, I suppose in three days we’ll all be going to Parinenai.”

After that, and during the next three days, Akia felt so giddy, like he was floating on air. If someone watched him, the boy looked like he was stuck in a dream and never wanted to wake up.

He went to help Palidan, his father, out getting the transport ready everyday; all the while, bombarding him with questions about his life-giver, Hoshi, and Parinenai.

Akia still couldn't believe it. He had wanted to find out who his family was for such a long time, and now he was reunited with his father and going to see his life-giver, mother. And it was all made possible by his wonderful mate, Amoris. Akia couldn't help but think if Amoris hadn't gotten lost on Earth, would they have ever met or ended up where they are now? Tears welled up in blue eyes as he sat upon his and Amoris' bed, surrounded by their luggage. Akia pulled his legs to his chest, scared of the fact about living for even a moment, not being in Amoris' arms.

[Amoris]

Amoris neared his room, trying to remember if there was anything he had forgotten to get together for the upcoming trip. He didn't think so because Akia had helped him out...But something just seemed off.

Turning down the corridor to his room, his feet began to unconsiously quicken until he stood outside his door. The brunette pushed it open and frowned as he saw his mate crying on the bed. "What's wrong, Akia? I thought you wanted to go on this trip?" he asked, moving to sit next to the other boy.

Akia glanced up, and upon seeing Amoris, the boy quickly wiped away the flowing tears.

Happy to see his mate sitting by his side, Akia instantly went to throw his arms around Amoris.

After calming down for a minute, Akia whispered against Amoris' chest. "I'm sorry, I was just thinking about when we first met, and how none of this would have ever happened to me, to us, you and I hadn't met that night on Earth. I don't know what I'd do now if I had to be apart from you for even a moment."

[Amoris]

Amoris smiled softly and wrapped his arms around Akia. "Don't think about it then," he whispered. "I did find you on Earth and I'm not going anywhere..."

The brunette laughed a bit and gently rubbed the young man's back. "You couldn't get rid of me now even if you wanted to probably," he joked.
