Micheia, in his leopard form, languidly walked a path in the forest that he was all ready familiar with. Holding a basket with his muzzle, he sniffed the air and happily purred once the scent of flowers and open sea reached his nose. His languid walk turned into a trot as he knows that he was now closing-in on his destination. Seeing that he was close to exiting the forest, he shape shifted and a young man of 17 years came out of the forest's edge and into a wide clearing.
Micheia smiled as he saw the meadow that was before him. Hundreds of flowers now surrounded him and the gentle crashing of the waves soothe his ears. No matter how many times he goes here during his visits, his breath was always taken away by the shear beauty of the place.
It was that time of the year again when his family visited Sensaforia to see his mother's older brother. So, here he was now at the outskirts of Sentensica getting some herbs and a bunch of flowers for his ill cousin.
Walking further through the middle of the meadow, he kneeled and started gathering the herbs that he mentally listed all the while humming a silent tune that only he could hear.

Yeril sighed as he walked along the beach, disappointed that his search had not turned up anything. Slowly he came to a stop and pulled out a piece of paper with some information about a clan of Harvesters that lived there on Sensaforia on it. They were suppose to be around that area...but he couldn't seem to find anyone.
The man closed his eyes and tried to think this through. It seems that I will have to stay here for the night, seeing as my ride has already departed...I wonder if these people even exist. Damned rumors, he thought, cletching his fist in slight disappointment. He had been really looking forward to meeting this culture too...
Yeril breathed in deeply, trying to calm himself. The smell of the ocean washed over him and he smiled slightly at the wonderful scent it carried. So familiar...Underneath it though, there was another faint smell. A smell like...
"Flowers," he murmered aloud, blinking his eyes open. Slowly, he turned from the near overwhelming oceanic breeze to sniff delicately. Following the trail the flowers' left upon the wind, he finally found himself standing in the midst of a field of flowers.
This is nice, the young man thought as he began to walk through it. The flowers brushed against his arms and legs, tickling, and he laughed lightly. All the disappointment and stress drained from him to be replaced by a calm at the sight of so many different herbs and flowers and...
Yeril stopped and turned fully to squint at the figure that caught his eye. It looked like...a young boy gathering together some of the herbs. Perhaps it is a harvester? Feeling elated at the prospect, he quickly jogged over to the boy and peered down at him.
"Hey, kid. You would not happen to be a harvester, would you?" he asked, trying not to sound as hopeful as he felt.

"Hey, kid. You wouldn't happen to be a harvester, would you?"
Micheia jumped at the sudden voice and quickly turned... To see the most unusual looking person he'd ever seen. Heart still beating erathically, he placed his hand on top of his chest and sighed then stared at the person that scared him.
Micheia couldn't believe how many tatoos the man had on his upper body. He then wondered if the tatoos where inborn or not. He cocked his head thinking back on the man's question.
Harvester? What are those? He asked himself. He looked up back to the man and gave him a sympathetic look while shaking his head no.

Yeril frowned slightly at the way the other jumped and then stared at him. He knew what the other was probably thinking. 'What a freak' or 'How ugly...How dare he talk to me!' It was the reaction he got from most people, after all. It didn't matter to them how much of an honor it was to recieve such markings; they all just thought of him as trash.
At the other's head shake of 'no', Yeril sighed. The other was most likely trying to get rid of him, but at least he had the decency to look sorry . He turned his head towards the basket the other had with him and his lips turned upward barely. "I suppose it would be to much of a hope to think that...But would you know if there is a clan of them anywhere close to here?" he asked.

A feeling of sadness suddenly washed over him and he became surprised. He knows that the emotions doesn't belong to him but to the other man... I wonder why...
He blinked his red eyes at the man, he really doesn't know what Harvesters were. He frowned at the thought. He did want to help the man out but he didn't know how to "say" this to him. He left his computer back at home, which was the onlu thing he could use to communicate with other people since he was mute.
He silently berated himself. What am I to do? An idea then popped into his head and he smiled to himself. He quickly stood up and put the basket on his left arm. He then grabbed the man's wrist with his right and tugged at it, indicating to the man to follow him out of the clearing.

Caught off guard, Yeril stumbled a bit as the boy suddenly got up and tugged on his wrist. He blinked and slowly a large smile began to spead across his face. "So you'll help me?" he asked somewhat surprised.
The other glanced back at him and tugged on his wrist again. He nodded slowly in response and his feet began to move, following after the boy. Perhaps this one wasn't like the others...
"Thank you."

He glanced back once again, happy that the sadness he felt earlier was gone and was now replaced with happiness and... hope?
He tilted his head to the side. This man was confusing him and its even jumbling up his own emotions. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he peered at the man from behind his bangs. He really couldn't help but stare at the man's markings. They were kinda neat looking. Of course it wasn't from the fact that this was the first time he saw a tatoo. Of course not. Because his own brother, Nexus, also has those. Why wouldn't he when his own vampyre mate has them.

Watching as the lad try to peer discretely back at him, Yeril followed the line of sight back to his torso and he sighed silently. The other was being considerate by not asking, he figured. Though with all the help he was getting, he might as well offer up the information. After all, if he didn't find someplace to stay(aka with the Harvesters) then he wouldn't have a place to live for quite a while. Not that he hadn't had someplace before; the Mentsiquarian was one who knew all about the laws of survival.
"Curious?" he asked as they moved through the clearing, getting closer to the surrounding forest. He smiled slightly. It was always in these wild places that he felt most at home.

Micheia blushed at being caught staring at the man and quickly turned his gaze at the ground. He clutched the basket tighter to him and nodded meekly.
He glanced at the man once again at the corner of his eyes. He couldn't help but smile too as he saw the slight upturned lips on the man. At least his happy... He really didn't like it when people were sad.
It then struck him that he doesn't know who the man was and here he was leading the man back to his uncle's home. He shrugged, Oh well... Introductions can be done later.

Yeril's smile widened a timy bit at the boy's smile. It reminded him of his brother a bit and he chuckled. Moving closer to the one he was following, he began an easy stroll along side him.
"I am something of a researcher, except I do it from experiance rather then books. I study cultres, in a way. These are all carvings from clans or tribes I've lived with for very long periods of time. They each have a special meaning, something like a mark of greatness."
He chuckled a bit. "It's something like the gold stars children get at the human schools sometimes, except harder to get and permenant. It's an honor, especially for an outsider like me..."
Drawing the attention of the other's eyes, he pointed at the slashes across his neck. "Like this. I got this when I was...17, going on 18. It is a mark that I've reached manhood. It is my first one; I got it from a small tribe of Majikadai." Looking back at the boy before he could get lost in his memories, his lips slightly curved up and he sighed.
"Sorry. You don't even know what my name is yet. I was quite rude. Here you are helping me and...Well, my name's Yeril. You are...?"

Micheia's blush increased ten-fold at the close proximity of the man beside him. His breath hitched and his heart thuded louder in his hears. If it wasn't for his logic, he would've thought the man beside him could hear his racing heart.
He silently gaze at the taller man as he said his story. He couldn't help but admire him. Here was a man who was travelling through space and other planets just for the chance to explore and learn. Kinda like his two older cousins on his father's side, Arzhel and Azriel. Both now in space happily travelling and exploring.
"Sorry. You don't even know what my name is yet. I was quite rude. Here you are helping me and...Well, my name's Yeril. You are...?" He halted on his tracks, and looked at Yeril with worry. He distantly thought that the name suit the man, but now how was he going to explain his own predicament. He bit his lower lip, a habit that he does when he's scared or nervous. What would he think? What would this beautiful man say?
He blinked, Beautiful? Now he was confused.

Suddenly, his companion stopped and Yeril stepped a few steps forward before also pausing. He glanced back at his companion and saw the conflicted emotions flashing across the other's face. Had he said something wrong?
A thought struck him and he frowned. He surely would have thouht his little story would have helped loosen the boy up, not make him seem so off-kilter. He sighed werily and part of him closed off as he looked in the other direction. He felt a little pang that the youth thought he was untrustworthy.
"I am sorry for asking. Honestly, I won't stalk you or something if I have your name. I was just curious...You needn't feel so hesitant," the man said, looking at the odd ivy growth on one tree.

Micheia's eyes widen and he quickly shook his head no. No! It's not like that! Micheia frantically thought. He felt the man's sadness rolled-off of him. He doesn't want Yeril to be sad. He walked quickly beside the man and gently grabbed his arm. Looking up at the taller man's eyes, he touched his throat and shook his head. Hoping the man to understand.

Yeril's eyebrows came together and he stared at the other's odd antics. What was he trying to do?
Or...perhaps say? his thoughts whispered to him. He looked at the other before slowly asking, "You...took a vow of silence?" he guessed. At the other's fierce head shake, he again frowned, thinking.
A moment passed, and he then wanted to slap himself. "You are not able to talk, are you? I really am sorry. I put you a bit on the spot there. I can't believe I missed that...," he muttered the last part to himself with a wry look.
"So, when are we going to get to...wherever we are going? Will I find out your name then?" Yeril hoped so. He found the boy interesting, at the least.

He nodded and stared at the ground. He couldn't help but feel dissapointed at himself. Never being able to talk. He sometimes wished that he could, so that the whole of Sensaforia, heck even Zerca would hear his own thoughts. Shaking his head he pushed his depressing thoughts at the back of his mind. He smiled brightly and quickly nodded at the question of the other. He turned his gaze to see that they were nearing the edge of the forest. And beyond it was the town of Soneria. A small town at the edge of Sentensica. The hometown of his Uncle. Quickly grabbing the man's hand within his, he dragged Yeril out of the forest. He glanced back at the befudled man and gave him one of his most beautiful smile. ((So, okay... I made that up. ;D The town I mean...Bleh! I hope that's all right? I couldn't really think of what kind of lay-out Sentensica have... Sucks to be me.))
