The night had just fallen when Rina returned to the tribe. He quickly made his way up the vine ladder, pulling himself up with little strength. A tired moan escaped his lips when he entered his lodge, looking around to find his youngest brother asleep on his bed. A soft laugh escaped the teen’s lips and he slowly walked over to his brother, trying to be as quiet as possible so he would not interrupt his brother’s sleep. He lay down beside the younger one, watching him in silence. After a long time he sat up again to undress, getting under the animal skins to keep himself warm in the cold night. As he closed his eyes he could hear his brother waking up, taking a deep breath before turning to Rina.
The older one could feel his brother shifting, sitting up, probably to look at him. “Rina?” the younger one tried, reaching out with a hand to gently squeeze his brother’s upper arm.
Rina opened his eyes, trying to look as if he had just woken up from a rest, smiling at his brother. “Runne..., is it all ready morning?” The white haired teenager asked in a tired moan, his eyes fluttering closed as he pushed himself deeper into his pillow, pulling the animal skins closer around him. “I do not want to wake up..., please give me a couple more minutes.” He tried to ignore the voice of his brother, asking him how he could be tired after his rest. Rina tightly closed his eyes, not wanting to be interrupted by his brother again. “Runne please...” The older one whined, pouting slightly all though his brother would not be able to see him.
“You have to wake up Rina, father will not be pleased with you if you continue sleeping.”
Rina sighed, knowing that his brother was right. Oelle never liked it when he came down later then the other’s. He had done so a couple of times before when he had gone out at day time. If he would stay in bed again then Oelle would definitely get the idea that something was wrong. Reluctantly Rina pushed himself up, glaring at his brother with dark eyes. “I want to sleep.” He complained, getting out of bed, starting to pull on the clothes that he had taken off minutes ago.
Runne watched his brother in silence, waiting for Rina to finish dressing. When the older one was fastening his belt, Runne started speaking, looking up at the white haired teen. “What have you been doing? You have been tired a lot lately...”
Rina shrugged, looking away. “Nothing...” He lied, not able to look at his brother when he lied to the younger one. He hated that he had to lie to his family about his visits to the city, especially his youngest brother who he loved dearly. “Let’s get down..., father will be waiting.” Rina said in a soft voice, repeating Runne’s earlier words about their father.
The way back down the vine ladder was quick. Rina could all ready hear his father’s deep, harsh voice beneath him. Followed by a much calmer one that belonged to their life-bearer, Narin. Rina looked down, smiling when he saw the familiar man standing nearby.
Narin looked up when he saw the vine ladder move in the corner of his eyes, smiling when he saw two of his children moving downwards. “Did you sleep well? Rina, Runne?” Narin asked, holding out his hand for Rina. When the other took it he squeezed it gently, pulling the white haired teen towards him and pressing a kiss to the other’s forehead. He did the same with Runne and then he mentioned to the others who were all ready seated on the ground nearby the tree which held Oelle and Narin’s lodge.
Rina sat down beside Nika who was talking to their oldest brother. He watched them carefully, wondering what they were speaking about. It was not often that Jattu spoke to any of them and if he did then it was usually Tian he spoke with, their second oldest brother. Jattu usually did not have time for them and only for their father, Oelle.
Jattu was a good warrior, Rina decided, watching his oldest brother. He let his eyes move over Jattu’s strong face, noticing a small scar which ran down just beside his nose. It was small but Rina could see it clearly, remembering when Oelle had come back with Jattu after a hunt. The other had been attacked by some sort of wild animal, it had been bleeding heavily and all Jattu had done was laugh. The white haired teen still did not understand why his oldest brother had laughed and the other would probably never tell him.
“Rina!”
The teen shot up, startled by the harsh voice of his father. “Yes?” He asked immediately, his eyes moving to his life-giver and remaining on him. When Oelle handed him a some pieces of fruit he took it eagerly and thanked his father. He could see his older brothers taking meat, just as Oelle. He wrinkled his nose in disgust, never really enjoying meat that much. He enjoyed fruits much more.
While they were eating everyone remained quiet until Narin spoke, addressing Oelle. “Are you going hunting?” He asked in a soft voice, taking a piece of meat in his mouth.
Rina let his eyes wander from his life-bearer to his life-giver and back, watching the two speaking to each other. It seemed to formal when they spoke that Rina often wondered if there was any sort of love between the two of them. It often seemed as if they did not love each other at all, being cold and distant to one other when others were around. Even with their own children they did not act lovingly towards each other. The white haired teen tried to remember a time when they had, finally deciding they sometimes did show their love for one other but not too often. A sigh escaped Rina’s lips and he let his head fall, chewing on the soft fruit inside his mouth. He licked his lips, which were now slightly sticky from the fruit he had been eaten. His mind filled with thoughts about his own courtship and mate, wondering if his mate and him would act to emotionless towards each other too. Of course he had never even been courted and he certainly did not have a mate..., but still he found himself wondering about it. More often now that his father, Narin, was once again pregnant.
Without realizing what he was doing Rina brought his hand to his stomach, resting it jut below his belly button, feeling the warm pale skin moving slightly beneath his hand as he took deep breaths. A unknown smile found a way to his soft pink lips, wondering how it would feel to be pregnant. “Narin..., what will we be doing today?” He asked then, looking up at his life-bearer. He let his hand fall to his side, not wanting anyone to know about his secret thoughts. They were best to be kept to himself, especially in front of Jattu and Tian. They always joked and teased him about everything they could find so they would definitely tease him about such a thing. They would probably tell him that he would never find a mate who would want him, he was not even a warrior.
Rina felt his stomach drop, his heart skipping a beat, realizing that they could very well be right. He was not even a warrior, he was as much as a disgrace for his family as his life-bearer had been for his grandparents. No one from the tribe would want him, they would rather have Jattu or even Nika..., who was much more a warrior then he would ever be himself. The white haired teen frowned, looking away from Niran who was telling him what they would be doing that day. He felt tears burning behind his eyelids. He felt fear cutting off his air, choking him and burning inside of his entire body. He could even feel it in his hands, his fingertips and even inside of his head. What if he would never find a mate? The question seemed to be so easy but it definitely wasn’t.
“Rina?”
The teen looked up, smiling weakly at his life-bearer. “Did you hear me?” He could hear Narin ask, a little amused. Rina shook his head blushing slightly out of embarrassment. He parted his lips to speak when he heard Tian snort. Then he spoke softly: “Sorry, I was not listening...”
Narin smiled, amused. “We are going help Sanda..., he has just given birth to Yelles first child...”
Rina nodded, looking down at his hands. “Um..., all right.” He muttered, not really wanting to be confronted by a life-bearer and his new born child at the moment. Not after his earlier thoughts.
“Are you all right, Rina?” Narin asked, looking a little worried.
Rina looked up, nodding. “Yes, of course.” He said quickly, biting on his lower lip. He watched Oelle and his two older brother’s getting up and then he looked at his life-bearer again. “Maybe I am not..., could Runne or Nika come with you today? I do not think I’m up for it today.”
Narin nodded. “Of course,” he decided, smiling at Rina. “Could you get some things for me from Jokadi then?”
Rina nodded, grinning. He had just come from Jokadi and now he would be going there again. The white haired teen sat back. At least it would keep his mind of other things for the moment.

Jayden walked silently along the streets of Jokadi with the twitch of a frown on his face. He was a Wizard, and anyone that knew anything about Wizards knew that Jeskara was the last place he wanted to be. Constantly being surrounded by Vampyres, Incubus, and other creatures, most of which were capable of being his parents' murderer. Any of the ones that didn't fit the description (which mainly meant that they weren't old enough or they seemed as if they couldn't hit a fly with no wings if they had a newspaper and a thousand chances to swing) quite plainly made him feel uncomfortable.
Why does everyone one this planet feel the need to leer at me?! They don't even know me and they staring at me like their next preverbial meal... well, literal for an Incubus, I guess, but... Argh! Stop it! the dark-haired Wizard thought irately, doing his best to keep from growling like a Zercan as a native whistled at him. Damn leather! What was I thinking?! Jayden rolled his eyes at himself before moving towards the window of a public restraunt, using the light to read the address that had been written on a small slip of paper. He had -ahem- recieved some information from a very helpful criminal who was very willing to talk... though that of course had nothing to do with the fact that he had a sword to his neck... no, not at all...
The information the felon had given him amounted, mostly, to this address. He was so close, which is the only reason he would ever be on Jeskara to begin with. The only problem, however, was that he was completely and utterly lost.

Rina looked around, walking through the streets of Jokadi. They were filled with different species, all belonging to the large city. It was a nice feeling, Rina decided, to walk around in a city where you did not have to look behind you to see if you were being attacked. Jokadi was one of the places where there were rules which kept others from harming you, and for someone as Rina, who was not truly a warrior, it was a fine place. He bit on his lower lip, sucking on the skin lightly in thought. His mind kept wandering to what had happened just before he had left. The blonde teenager had had a minor disagreement with his oldest brother Jattu. The other had thrown him around, throwing towards at him that had hurt his feelings. Rina had tried to ignore his brother, knowing it was not something he had truly meant. But still the words kept returning inside of his thoughts, making him think about them. Jattu had called him less then a Majikadai. And all though Rina understood why his brother would say such a thing it did not hurt less. For a moment the teen stopped walking, grinning when he noticed the familiar old vampyre standing in front of a stall. The older one was holding an orange round piece of fruit in his hand. The white haired teen quickly walked over to it and waved at the man, smiling. “Hello Chatelin.” He greeted the older one, when the other took a bite of the hard fruit, and placed his hands on his hips, tilting his head to the side. “Hello Rina, has your life-bearer sent you?” He asked, raising an eyebrow at the sight of the teen, carefully chewing on the piece of sweet fruit in his mouth. Narin often came for fruit to him but never Rina, sometimes his second youngest child, Nika. He hadn’t seen Rina for a long time, the young one usually wasn’t one to leave the tribe..., or his life-bearer for that matter. Narin had often spoken to him about the white haired child, when the young one had been clinging to Narin’s leg. He had heard the stories that Rina was not even able to leave his life-bearers side. They had always amused him and now he was somewhat shocked and confused that Rina would come alone to a place like Jokadi. Rina nodded happily, his hazel eyes moving over the stall with interest. “Yes, he told me to ask you for the same as usual.” The blonde decided. He brushed a hand through his hair nervously, waiting for the other to get started on his request. When the other didn’t move he looked away, letting his eyes wander over the street without another word. He silently looked around, licking his lips when he heard the other grumbling under his breath before walking to the other side of the stall. Rina’s eyes lit up, becoming a darker hazel colour, when he noticed someone that seemed rather out of place. The blonde frowned, shifting, while he watched the other one. “Rina.” Rina turned around when he heard his name, a crimson colour coming to his cheeks when he saw the vampyre look at him with an amused laugh. “Thank you.” He muttered, taking the linen bag from the older one. The blonde gave him his money, thanking him again before turning around and looking for the man who had earlier drawn his attention. The teen sighed when he could not find him again, deciding to forget about it. Within an hour Rina had most of the things his life-bearer had asked for. Around his shoulder a couple of bags were hanging loosely and in his left hand he held a small bag which held a pair of bracelets. All though his mother had not asked him to buy them he hadn’t been able to help himself. The two platinum bracelet with small turquoise stones had almost immediately drawn his attention when he had passed the jewellery shop. The white haired teen had looked them for a long time, hearing other’s pass behind him, some muttering their annoyance because he was in their way. But Rina hadn’t cared, hadn’t even noticed. Now he was holding a small brown leather bag with inside the two platinum bracelets. Slowly Rina continued walking, not ready to go home yet. He still had to buy some fabrics for his life-bearer but he had to go to the little shop at the beginning of Jokadi. He took his time to reach it, passing the different shops. He licked his lips unconsciously, a habit that he had had since he could remember and no longer thought off. While he walked towards the shop he found himself thinking about the life-bearer that had given his mate a child. The teen frowned, feeling his stomach drop uncomfortably. He continued walking, his head lowered, deep in thought. - - - When Rina stepped outside of the last shop he took a deep breath, blinking a couple of times to adjust to the outside weather. The last shop had been filled with a smell that Rina couldn’t quite place. It hadn’t been a nice one and Rina definitely hadn’t welcomed it. Inside there had been a foul scent of old fabrics and leather. It filled every piece of fabric inside, leaving a dull smell which had made Rina’s head swirl. Now, when he was finally outside again, he could take a deep breath to get rid of the smell, taking his time to take in the scent of the city. A glimpse of something caught Rina’s eye, the hazel orbs resting on the sight which was somewhat familiar. He had seen him before, earlier that day, and here the strange one was again, walking through Jokadi with a confused look on his face. The white haired teen bit on the skin of his lip, watching him pass by and without realizing his feet started to carry him, following the other out of curiosity.

After wondering aimlessly for an undeterminable amount of time, Jayden had decided that he was completely and utterly lost. Not the same kind of being completely and utterly lost as he had been before... no, this was a much more serious case. Even if he had wanted to, now, there would be no plausible way for him to ever find his way back to anywhere that might seem familiar. Why had he thought that this was a good idea? Why didn't he bring Kagyr with him? His care-take would not have been foolish enough to get himself lost, that's for sure.
The Wizard growled in frustration, glaring at the street sign, the buildings, and anything else that was capable of being glared at. An uneasy feeling was creeping into him. The sort of uneasy feeling one gets when they're lost beyond all hope of recognition, or when they've just been robbed of all their money, or when they're being followed. Jayden's situation, it seemed, was two of the three. A pitter-patter of footsteps had been following him for quite sometime, he wouldn't have noticed it besides the fact that he was already paranoid. He was on Jeskara and he was lost; ample reason, he thought, to be even more paranoid than usual.
After a few more moments of hearing footfalls that mocked his own, he was already weary of it. He quickly side-stepped into an alleyway, trying to avoid the person while hoping to catch sight of them as well.

Rina frowned, following the other one. He didn’t understand why the dark haired stranger would go to these parts of the city. He followed, trying to be as quiet as possible. He had had some lessons from Oelle, learning to be quiet as a warrior should be. Sadly enough he had never been very good through the lessons, being caught almost every time. He did remember sneaking up on his father once, startling him and taking him by surprise. But that was only once and rather unfair since the lesson had all ready been over.
He bit his lower lip when he saw the dark haired stranger turn a corner. He stopped for a second, taking a deep breath. His heart was racing. He knew it was wrong to follow the other around. It was not something he usually did, following other’s around. But this stranger had something that made him wonder, made him question why the other was in Jokadi looking utterly lost. He knew the other had just turned a corner which led to an death end and it would be strange to follow the other into an alley with no end. Rina knew that there was the possibility of getting caught, it was a high risk and the white haired teenager wasn’t sure if he was willing to take it.
The teen wondered if he should continue walking, just to pass the alley and give up finding out what the other was doing in Jokadi. His stomach turned, making him feel ill. A nervous feeling crept up, making it difficult for him to breath. It was a decision he would have to make quickly.
He stepped forward, his legs carrying him easily even though he was not even sure if he should do it himself. The white haired teen stopped in front of the alley, his dark hazel eyes shifting around until they found the raven haired stranger he had seen before. His cheeks turned crimson once he saw that the other was looking at him, his eyes resting on him in return. Rina looked away. The teen shifted uncomfortable, tugging at his sleeves, sucking on his lower lip.
He felt his heart hammering in his throat, not sure what to say or what to do now that he was finally face to face with the stranger he had been following for most of his time that he had been in Jokadi. A unwanted, sudden, thought came to his mind, wondering if Narin was worried where he was. The teen looked up again, his eyes finding that of the stranger, making him turn an even brighter shade of red.
“Are you lost?” Came a timid voice and for a moment Rina did not even realize it was his own somewhat childish wary voice. He let his eyes wander over the other before coming back to his face. His voice was shaking lightly, making him look even more intimidated then he all ready was. “I...” He started, stammering, before the other could even reply. “When I saw you here I thought that maybe you didn’t know where you were going.” Rina explained. “Usually visitors don’t come to these parts of Jokadi..., and you do not really look like someone from around here...” The white haired teenager decided, growing more confident.
Rina wanted to wait for the other to reply but in his nervous state he immediatly started speaking again. His voice sounded less awkward then it did before, returning to the melodic soft, warm sounds it usually held. His cheeks were slowly returning to their normal pale colour and the heat he had felt started to leave his body, making it easier for him to breath once again. He felt his heart going a normal rate, slowing down from it’s hard pounding from before. “If you are from around here, then I am sorry for thinking you weren’t.” He started, rattling on without giving the other any time to reply. “But you don’t look like a vampyre or a deamon..., or for any other Jeskaraen species for that matter...” Rina decided. He pushed his hands behind his back, his fingers tangling together. “You are to tall to be an Majikadai...”
With his head tilted to the side he took in the sight of the other before him. “I didn’t mean to..., to follow you, I just...” The teen bit on his lip, searching for the right words. When he didn’t find them he sighed, blushing again, looking down at the small black shoes he was wearing. “Uhm..., maybe there’s some way I could help you?” He asked then in a soft voice, the words quiet and delicately pronounced.
His voice was one of the other things that his brothers and even his life-giver joked around about. It was far to soft and childish even to put any fear in other’s. A warrior needed to have a harsh voice, a intimidating voice which brought fear to others and showed your status as a warrior. A warrior did not have a childish voice which was timid and soft, which held warmth... that was something that did not strike fear in the hearts of others. Rina’s voice was definitely not one that made other’s fear him. It was high enough to be that of an child instead of a deep one belonging to the teenage warrior who had just found it’s guardian.
"I know a lot of Jokadi..." Rina whispered, offering his help to the total stranger. "I could bring you to wherever you need to go..." The white haired teenager tried, stepping closer. The darkness of the alley made his eyes turn even darker, adjusting rapidly to the darkness which was something that he had gotten used to being a Jeskaran. All they did was done in darkness.

Jayden thought that he had been prepared for almost anything as he stood there in the alley. He thought that he was ready to deal with whoever had been following him. He was wrong. When the small, timid-looking boy popped around the corner and stopped, the Wizard almost had to do a double-take. He had been expecting something dangerous... not something cute.
He stared at the boy with an apathetic face, one that he had desparetly concocted, as the other rambled in embarressment. At first, he'd been trying hard not to look completely shocked, but before the light-haired Jeskaran was done, Jayden was trying not to smile or laugh. What's someone like him doing here? He seems too nice to have grown up on a place like Jeskara, the Wizard wondered. He studied the other silently for a moment, staring into the other's warm, brown eyes.
"You... know a lot of this place?" he asked finally in a quiet tone. He clutched the slip of paper in his hand. Finally! he thought, Now I can finally get somewhere with this!

At the man’s question he looked up, startled. Rina quickly nodded his head, biting on the skin of his lower lip. He rubbed his hands together, feeling his stomach turn nervously. “Ah...,” He nodded. “Yes I know a lot about Jokadi..., I live nearby...” The white haired teen cleared his throat, realizing his father, Oelle, would be angry at him for ever telling someone where their tribe was. But he hadn’t said anything to give away the precise location of their tribe.
The white haired teen stepped out of the alley, waiting for the stranger to leave the alley. “Um..., where do you need to go?” He asked nervously, not understanding why he was feeling nervous near the stranger. When the other gave him the small piece of paper he looked down at the handwritten address and frowned, knowing exactly where it was. He looked at the taller one, not sure if he should ask why he had to go there. All though he was curious he also knew it was none of his business and he didn’t want to pry.
Rina started walking. “Let’s go...” He breathed, deciding that he would not ask anything and that it was not his business.
They walked for a while in silence, making Rina more then just nervous. He kept his eyes low, listening to his own steps and that of the stranger beside him. When he finally got over his nerves he glanced at the raven haired stranger and licked his lips. “Um..., my name is Rina...” The white haired teen said, cursing himself quietly for telling the other something about himself. His father would definitely disagree with what he was doing. He was even almost sure that Narin would disagree with him too.
He turned a corner, once again returning to the silence between them. When he stopped the other looked at him with, he smiled sheepishly. “It’s at the end of this street...” The teen explained, pointing towards one of the houses there. “Ah..., well I guess I should get going.” The idea of returning home left a strange feeling in Rina’s stomach which he didn’t understand and couldn’t quite place.
Before realizing what he was saying he had all ready spoken, wishing the moment after that he could take back his words: “Or I can wait..., to help you around again...” If Narin had heard those words he would be very angry with him, Rina knew that. It was not something you usually did, offering strangers your help. Definitely not on Jeskara, that was far to dangerous. “You might not be able to find your way back...” He explained softly, looking down at his hands with a blush covering his cheeks.
The white haired teen sighed, sucking on the skin of his lower lip for a second. Then he looked up at the dark haired stranger again, shifting a little and changing his stance a little uncomfortable. He tightened his grip on the bag he was holding in his right hand and titling his head to the side. “Well..., it probably won’t be so hard to find your way back, so I guess I should be going...” Rina decided, carefully taking back his earlier words.
It was time to go back to the tribe. Narin would probably be missing him and wondering where he was all ready. “Goodbye.” He whispered softly before he started to leave. The teen slowly started to walk away, looking around as if he was trying to remember where he needed to go.
His mind was racing, thinking about the stranger and what he needed to do in Jokadi. Suddenly the teenager stopped walking, frowning. Rina couldn’t help but wonder why any stranger would come to a planet such as Jeskara. It was, after all, not known to be the nicest planet to go. It was dark and cold and if you were not used to such things it could be very dangerous and strange.
The white haired teenager sighed and stopped walking, turning around abruptly and making his way back. His life-bearer would agree with him that he could not just leave someone without help, he was sure of that. Even though his life-giver would reprimand him later and maybe even punish him he knew that it was a good cause to help someone who did not know their way around Jokadi and did not belong there.
Two times Rina changed his mind, ready to leave, until he finally reached the old house which the stranger had wanted to find. He looked up at it, wondering how long it would take the stranger to come back outside.
The Majikadai sighed and sat down on the steps in front of the house, placing his bags on the ground while waiting for the stranger to return.

Jayden released his grip on the slip of paper and watched as a curious look was shot at him. The younger man obviously recognized the address and was obviously wondering why the Wizard wanted to go there. The dark-haired man stayed silently, not bothering with explaining himself, but followed the boy without any qualms.
The Wizard did his best to keep a straight face as the other, Rina apparently, tried to make idle conversation with him. Jayden was not about to tell a stranger his name, even if he did find the young light-haired Majikadai to be quite adorable. That could prove to be very dangerous, especially with what he had planned.
Jayden couldn’t stop the adrenalin from flowing through his veins. He’d trained for years and left his home to avenge his parents. All his pain and grief, all his suffering, would soon come to an end. Just down a few streets, and he would be face-to-face with his life’s greatest antagonists. In just a few moments, his parents’ murderers will meet the fate that they deserve!
His excitement was so strong his body was shaking, and he had to clench his hands into fist to keep them from twitching from adrenalin. He was caught up in his thoughts, planning what do to and what to say, and, when Rina stopped, the Wizard was taken by surprise. He gave the other a questioning look before following the boy’s finger down the street to a house.
“Ah..., well I guess I should get going.” Jayden wanted to reply with a thank you, or anything; however, his lips didn’t move and he made no reply. He couldn’t help but watch as the boy practically argued with himself over whether or not he should stay, fighting off a twitch of a smile every time the boy spoke to contradict himself. Finally, the boy walked away, leaving the Wizard by himself on the street. Jayden wanted to call out and say something, the boy had been a great help to him, but he didn’t want to draw attention to either one of them. Instead, he sighed softly to himself and walked down the street towards the house that Rina had pointed out to him.
The building wasn’t big, but it wasn’t a shack either. It wasn’t in the best shape, but it was obviously live in. The Wizard quickly walked up the steps and knocked on the door. After a moment of waiting, he still had received no answer. He knocked again, but his anxiousness was getting the better of him. Through this door, just on the other side was the end of his journey! Once his parents were at peace, then he could be too. Once again, he got no reply, so he decided to go with ‘plan B’.
Taking a step back, the Wizard glared at the locked door that stood in his way, ripping it away from its hinges using a minute amount of his abilities. He stepped calmly over the shards of wood as he entered the house. He searched through the entire house, which seemed to be empty with a confused frown. The place was sparsely furnished with only a couch in what he guessed was a living room and a table seat by only two chairs in the kitchen. The one bedroom held a large bed with only one pillow and a baby’s crib, along with a dresser in it. The only thing on the dresser was a poorly-lit picture of what appeared to be the home’s inhabitants. Two men held a baby between them, but not much more than that was decipherable.
Jayden grimaced as he looked around the room. What was going on? Had the man given him the wrong address? No, the Wizard had seen the fright in the man’s eyes; he knew the criminal had been telling the truth. He just didn’t understand! Who were these people? What did they have to do with him or his parents? Certainly they hadn’t? Why would two mates want to kill his parents? What would they gain from that?
All these new questions burned inside Jayden’s head, making him angry and even more confused. He could feel his eye, then his hand, twitch from annoyance. Why? kept going through his head. Why?! Throwing out a fist, the Wizard punched the wall beside him, leaving a rather decent sized dent, before leaving the house. As he tromped over the broken door for the second time, he let out a heavy sigh.
Jayden walked away from the house and onto the porch before noticing Rina as the boy sat on the steps. The Wizard stopped despite himself, giving the boy’s back a curiously suspicious look before trekking down the steps and turning to look at the Majikadai.
“You’re still here.” It wasn’t a question because Rina was, obviously, still there.
(( I am SO sorry! This took me way way way too long! TT_TT I was grounded for quite a long time, and then I was sick! >< Maaan! I'm so sorry it took me so long! *hugs* ))

Rina shifted around nervously, getting anxious. He had been waiting for quite some time and the other still hadn’t come back. Rina was even worried that he had missed the other all together. It also didn’t help that his family was probably getting worried. His life-bearer was probably getting nervous. He never stayed away for this long, usually getting everything they needed and returning immediately. Now he had been gone for nearly three hours and usually he took an hour and a half, maybe two..., but never three. The teenager bit on the skin of his plump lower lip. He’d have to find a good explanation for his parents. It would probably have to be a lie, telling them he had helped a stranger was not going to be something they’d appreciate. “What am I doing here...” Rina said to himself, closing his eyes and leaning his head against his knees. He could feel the ground brush against the back of his hands, the skin brushing against it lightly in his strange position. “I should go home...” The teen whispered to himself. His mind kept racing, not sure if he should leave or stay. That was until he heard a deep voice behind him. The teenager pushed himself up quickly, nervously biting on his lip. He felt his heart skip a beat when he saw the familiar stranger step outside and look at him. “You’re still here.” He could hear the other say, the stranger’s voice making a shiver run down his spine. Now, even more then before, he wondered why the other had asked directions. Why he had wanted to come to this place. Rina nodded awkwardly. “Yeah...” He mumbled, looking down into his lap. He shifted around nervously. “I thought that...” His words failed him, looking up at the other. “I didn’t want you to get lost.” He finally mumbled, blushing a bright crimson. The blonde sighed, smiling childishly. “So I decided to wait and see if you needed more help.” Rina chuckled, licking his dry lips nervously. "You probably don't.., but you know.." His voice trailed off. "Just to make sure..." The blonde shifted around a little and then smiled, picking up his things. “I’ll bring you to the gates..., that way I am sure that you will be ok.” Rina decided and started walking. “And that I weren’t the one who got you lost.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rina bit on the skin of his lower lip nervously, which seemed to slowly become an habit. He had talked to the other non-stop, probably driving the other crazy. But it wasn’t like the other had said much, barely anything. And Rina hated silence, the quietness was unbearable and annoying. “Ah..., I’m from a small tribe nearby, if you ever need help or need to stay somewhere,” Rina rolled his eyes, not understanding why he had ever started saying such a thing. His life-giver would get angry at him for even offering someone a place in their tribe. It was far to dangerous to let stranger into a tribe. “we can offer you a place for a while...” Rina said softly, knowing that he had to be polite and continue with his offer to stay at their tribe. Rina sighed, wondering why even when offering a place to stay the other did not say a word. The young Majikadai was starting to wonder if he was not liked by the stranger. Of course there was no need to be liked by him, they did not know each other and such. But the other was so quiet and void of emotion that it bothered him to no end. “Our tribe lies in the forest, it very beautiful.” Rina said then, continuing himself with the one-sided conversation. “Our leader is a good Majikadai and takes very good care of us...” Rina mused, thinking about their elder. The blonde passed around a corner, realizing that they were nearing the gates of the large city. "It is much prettier at morning time though..., or when the night is about to fall." Rina chuckled. “All though I am not suppose to know that.” His life-giver had often seen him sneaking out at daytime or coming back at night, getting angry at him for leaving the tribe at such times and going at when all of them were asleep and resting for the coming night. When they reached the large gates of the illuminated city Rina stopped, giving the stranger a last look. “Well this is were we say goodbye I guess.” The teen grinned. “This time for real, I do not have to worry that you will be lost anymore.” The blonde sighed, shifting around. “Perhaps I will see you again, if the gods wish so...” Rina said cheerfully, turning around and leaving the stranger to himself. He had all ready stayed to long. Everyone would be wondering why he had been gone for such a long time. (( That's ok stuff like that happens I'm glad you are ok and stuff !! ))

Jayden let a slight smile grace his features as the other awkwardly tried to justify himself. The Wizard found it rather endearing, to be honest. Also, although he would never admit it, he was thankful to Rina for waiting for him; he was horrible with directions when it came to large cities like this. Kagyr had never been able to teach him that, no matter how hard he tried.
The dark-haired man readily agreed to let Rina lead him back to the gates. He was sure that once he was there, he could find his way to wherever he wanted… Not that he had anywhere to go. He had only been planning on staying long enough to meet with his parents’ killers, then leaving. He hadn’t thought that he’d need to stay here more than a few hours.
As they walked, Jayden half-listened through his copious thoughts as Rina rambled on awkwardly. Finally, when they stopped, the Wizard looked down at the Majikadai, taking in the other’s words gratefully.
“Perhaps I will see you again, if the gods wish so...” Jayden watched as the pale-haired youth walked away with those words. For some bizarre reason, the Wizard didn’t feel that it was right to separate from the boy on those terms. After Rina had taken just a few steps, the dark-haired man called out to him.
“Wait,” he bid before advancing, stepping closer to the boy so he wouldn’t be trying to talk over the crowded streets around them, “Thank you for assisting me… I know it was probably just a flippant offer, but I haven’t anywhere to stay for now,” admitted after a moment. He hated asking for things; he hated having to depend on others, but now was not a time to complain. He doubted that Rina would do something to harm him, anyways.

Rina’s eyes widened when the other called out for him, he felt his stomach flip over nervously as he turned around. He looked at the dark haired stranger, waiting for him to continue speaking. When the other came closer and did he bit on the skin of his lower lip. He smiled sheepishly when his offer was slightly taken, the stranger telling him he did not have anywhere to stay. “Well..., I am sure there will be a place for you in your tribe.” The teenager said, nodding to himself He held out two of his bags, chuckling when the other looked at him with an confused look on his face. “If I need to take you to my tribe you might as well make yourself useful.” The young one said in a rude manner, blushing when he realized how it must’ve sounded to the other. “I didn’t mean it like that...” He breathed, but still holding the bags in front of himself. When the other took them he blushed, turning around again to leave, this time being followed by the stranger. Rina was glad to see that the walk back to home was not one where they had to fight off enemies. The teen hated it when there were dangerous species around when coming from Jokadi. At daytime it was much easier to walk around without having to be scared for other races, but in the darkness of the night you could never be too careful. The light haired teen sighed when he heard the pair of familiar twins nearby. Their footsteps telling him that the two of them were looking at them. Rina stopped walking. “Fenn, Pezo...stop watching us.” He said in a calm voice. Some leaves rustled and then two young Majikadai came from the bushes. The dark haired twins looked from Rina to the unfamiliar stranger the teen had with him. Pezo frowned, speaking first. “Who is that Rina? Are you brining strangers to our tribe?” He asked coldly. “You know that only us life-givers are able to bring other’s to our tribe.” Rina shrugged, stepping back and looking down at his feet. “I will introduce him to my life-giver..., he is not a mean person I met him in Jokadi.” Fenn chuckled, finding the blonde’s words more then funny. “Are you going to introduce him to Oelle?” He asked, chuckling. The dark haired Majikadai continued, his eyes filling with laughter. “The hunting has not gone well, Oelle is not happy and you are going to bring a stranger to him.” Rina stuck out his tongue at the two, growing bold. “I will do as I please.” He turned around and took Jayden’s hand, startling the other and pushing himself into the other’s personal space. The teen felt awkward doing so, but he did not want the other to think he was not welcome and the way Fenn and Pezo were acting the other would probably think he was unwelcome. “Let’s go...” Rina mumbled angrily, pulling the stranger with him. “Fenn and Pezo are always being rude, don’t mind them.” Rina said, trying to apologize for the way the others had acted. The blonde’s cheeks flushed from anger, still pulling the other with him deeper into the forest where they homes were. “But if my life-giver came back from hunting empty handed he will be in a bad mood...” The blonde decided. After a while he stopped, looking down in embarrassment, realizing he was standing in the middle of their tribe and he was still holding the dark stranger’s hand. The blonde turned around, glancing at the other. He quickly let go of the other’s hand, smiling up at him a little sheepishly. “I am sorry..., I was a bit distracted because of Fenn and Pezo...” He said truthfully. “Rina!” Rina cringed, hearing his life-giver’s hard angered voice. It seemed to make everyone stop and stare at the blonde who was looking down at his feet quietly, not daring to look up. He trembled slightly, afraid of his life-giver. “Yes?” “You had your life-bearer worried, you were gone for a very long time!” Oelle started, yelling at his son, not caring everyone was around to see. “Not only that but Pezo came to me telling that you were taking a stranger to our tribe!” Rina pouted. “Yes, I wanted to introduce him to you, he is not dangerous for our tribe, please forgive me.” Oelle glanced at the man beside Rina, frowning. He crossed his arms in front of himself, taking his time to take in the sight of the stranger. After a while he grabbed Rina’s shoulder hard enough to leave a bruise, pushing him in the direction of his lodge. “Stay in your lodge..., you will not return until I give you permission to leave your lodge...” Rina nodded, glancing towards the stranger for a last time, sending him an apologetic look before running towards his lodge, quickly climbing up the vine ladder. He tried to ignore the stares and looks that were coming from the other’s, embarrassed. ~~~~~ Rina did what he was told, remaining in his lodge. He had never felt so embarrassed in his entire life, not even when he had been made fun off by his brothers. The blonde sat up when he heard a knock coming to his door. “Yes?” He asked in a timid, slightly shaking voice. Narin entered, looking at his son with warm gentle eyes. “Your life-giver is talking to that stranger of yours...” The brunette said, walking over to Rina after closing the door behind his back. He sat down on the side of Rina’s bed. He watched his son, brushing a hand over the other’s hair lovingly. The brunette played with the strands of his son’s hair. “His name is Jayden and I must say he is a very handsome-“ “Stop mother...” Rina muttered, closing his eyes and turning away from his mother. “Please do not try to play matchmaker again..., you know that is not even allowed.” Narin chuckled. “I could always press Oelle into making him ask to become your mate..., or at least to court you...” The brunette said, his heart light. He was very much searching for a good mate for his young son. Jattu and Tian seemed to be the only of his children who had been in courtships before, Rina had never been in one. None of the Majikadai wished to court the blonde even though Narin knew that he was very beautiful. But perhaps not on standars of the Majikadai, just as he had not been beautiful enough for many of their tribe. He had not even been beautiful enough for Oelle after all. Rina pulled himself up into a ball. “He will probably make him leave,” The teen said, talking about his life-giver. “Only because I brought him here, I did not think he would make such a big deal out of it...” Narin sighed. “Well I can tell you that your life-giver has decided that he can stay...” He said, pushing himself up and smiling down at the blonde who quickly turned to look at him with a confused look in his eyes. “Yes it is true, Oelle told him he could stay...that is why I came to look at you.” The brunette looked around the large lodge which belonged to his son. “Since you invited him, Oelle decided it was best if he slept in your lodge.” Rina blushed. “A-and what about me?” He stammered. Both his parents knew he did not like to stay in a lodge of someone else. “You are also staying in your own lodge.” Narin said, amused. “I will let Jayden up since your life-giver has still not said you can come down...” Rina nodded, watching his life-bearer leave. He waited in silence, pulling his legs up to his body and wrapping his arms around them. His breath seemed to hitch in his throat as the stranger, who he found out was named Jayden, entered his lodge. “I am sorry for my life-giver...,” He whispered. “I hope he was not harsh on you, he can be...well he can be less then nice sometimes.” RIna said, trying to put it nicely. “I am sorry if he made you feel unwelcome, because you really are..., well I welcome you because I really don’t mind that you are here...,” Rina started to rattle nervously. “I bet that if Jattu introduced you to our tribe no one would’ve minded.” The blonde pushed himself up walking over to Jayden slowly. He stopped a little to close, not meaning to do so but while he was looking down he had not realized that he had been coming so close to the other. “I am truly sorry if my family has offended you in any way,” Rina whispered, trying to apologize. Then he looked back at his bed before turning to look up at the raven haired wizard. “If you would like to rest or sleep you can do so in my bed, I will take some old blankets and sleep upon them, because you will be staying in my lodge...” The blonde blushed. “And I do not think you’d like to share a bed with me...” He blurted out, stepping back. “Um..., and I really do not need to sleep right now, it’s only midnight after all.” Rina muttered, walking to his bed to straighten his blankets for the other.

By the abashed look Rina gave him, Jayden was almost afraid that the Majikadai would turn him down. He gratefully followed after the teen out of the city’s gates. After quite a bit of walking, Jayden began to notice that they were being watched, but his companion spoke up before he was able to act on his observation.
Two boys that looked almost exactly same appeared from the underbrush at Rina’s command and Jayden had to admit to himself that he was not too impressed by the twins. Each of the pair seemed intent on staring between him and the pale-haired Rina, and it irked the Wizard to be speculated like a traitor when he’d never met these boys in his life. Their words did little to dissipate his growing dislike of them, as well.
Jayden was shocked when soon-to-be host grabbed his hand and started to drag him through the woods. He wanted to take his hand back from the boy, but he also didn’t want to offend him. The Majikadai had been nothing but helpful to him since they had met not long before, and Jayden figured that he owed it to the teen to not embarrass him anymore than the boy did to himself. That’s why, when Rina finally realized that he still held the older man’s hand hostage, the awkwardness with which he tried to reason it, made Jayden let a smile slip across his face… but only for a moment because just after they stopped, the pale-haired boy had his name called out by a rather surly looking man.
The Wizard watched with a suddenly cross expression as he watched the older man cause a scene of falsely reprimanding the rueful teen. Jayden couldn’t keep himself from scowling at the man, especially when man looked him over. Copying the other’s movements, the Wizard crossed his arms over his chest, glaring heatedly at the angry man as he pushed the small Majikadai away from them. Jayden watched the boy leave before turning back to the man with a glower.
~*~
After awhile of being “secretly” gawked at by Rina’s life-bearer and blatantly glared at by the man from earlier, whom he’d come to know as his aide’s life-giver, he was finally allowed to go to where Rina was. He pitied the boy while simultaneously wondering if all parents were like that. When he caught sight of the Majikadai, he was lying on his bed.
At the other’s apology, Jayden only shook his head. He had been rather put-off by the welcoming he received but he didn’t want Rina to feel guilty, so he merely shook it off. The other, however, didn’t seem to notice his dismissal of it as he climbed off the bed and approached him. The dark-haired Wizard couldn’t help but be in some way affected as he watched the teen climb off the bed as gracefully as he did before stepping towards him. Jayden had had very few run-ins with people that could in anyway be classified as beautiful or attractive, but Rina definitely fit the bill, especially now that the Wizard got a chance to obverse him up close.
“I am truly sorry if my family has offended you in any way.” Again, Jayden shook his head.
“You’re from a tribe of fighters. It’s only natural that they would have a rather sour disposition,” he mumbled. “The worlds’ are dangerous. If I had someone like you under my roof, I’d do my best to keep my roof a secret, as well,” he added after a moment. After a moment of watching the other straighten the bed, Jayden sighed and motioned for him to stop. “Don’t. It’s your bed, you sleep in it. I’m used to sleeping in rough places, I’ll be fine on the floor,” he stated sternly. He wanted to ignore that he’d just complimented the boy like he had. He came from his mouth before it even formed in his mind; he couldn’t seem to stop himself. What’s done is done, but he didn’t want to dwell on it. He didn’t want to embarrass the boy, but, mostly, he didn’t want to make himself embarrassed.

The blonde was glad that he was not facing the other when he heard the other speak.
“The world’s are dangerous. If I had someone like you under my roof, I’d do my best to keep my roof a secret, as well.” The words made him blush slightly, his cheeks turning a soft red colour. He wasn’t sure if the other meant what he had said, but if he had it sounded very much like a compliment.
He listened carefully, his mind racing until he heard the other tell him that he would sleep on the ground.
Rina shook his head. “No, no!” He said quickly, turning to look at Jayden. The light haired teen placed his hands on his hips, titling his head to the side. “You are my guest, you should not offend me by sleeping on the ground.” Rina said, joking slightly even though it was the truth. The idea of a guest sleeping on the ground was strictly frowned upon, it was not normal for a guest to sleep in a lesser place then his host.
The teenager walked over to Jayden, smiling. He took the other’s hand, deciding that if the other hadn’t cared before he would not care now. Slowly he pulled the other towards the bed, walking backwards, keeping his eyes on the raven haired wizard. “I insist that you sleep in my bed.” Rina decided, stopping beside his bed. His large eyes moved to the thick animal skin sheets before moving back to Jayden. “It is fine...”
Rina watched the other sit down, taking of his boots reluctantly. The teen turned away, walking away a little to give Jayden some space and privacy, not knowing how far the other wanted to go with undressing.
He held himself busy with some old books, looking at their names, searching for the one he preferred to read. When he found it he smiled, taking it from the large pile of books and turned around to watch the man, lying on the teen’s bed. Rina walked towards the bed carefully, taking his time. He kept his eyes on the raven haired stranger, smiling sheepishly. Rina sat down on the end of the bed, grinning. “This way you can rest and I can read without one of us needing to stay on the ground.” The white haired teenager decided, opening his book. He pulled his legs up towards his body, leaning against the side of the lodge. The wood felt cold against his back but he did not care, not even noticing it after a couple of minutes.
Every once in a while Rina felt his eyes wandering towards the stranger, curious about the others life. He had, as always, been far to forward with his own explanations and conversations on his life and such. The teen bit on his lower lip. He had even told the other his name the first moment they had met. He had told Jayden about his family and where he was from, but he knew nothing of the other.
Rina felt his mind wandering to the world where Jayden had come from, wondering where the other had been before he had travelled to Jeskara. Which placed he had visited, what cities he had seen. The teen shifted a little, glancing once again at the raven haired man who was lying on his bed. The other’s eyes were closed lightly, but Rina wondered if the other was really asleep.
The white haired teen tried not to look at the other but his mind kept wandering to the other and once again to where he came from. Eventually Rina moved beside the other, pulling himself forward with his lower arms. For a moment he took the time to look at the other, his large chocolate eyes moving over the features of the other’s face.
He leaned a little on his side, bringing his fingers to the other’s shoulder, shaking it lightly. “Jayden?” Rina asked in a timid voice. “Are you still awake?” He asked then, licking his lips. When the other said nothing he still continued, sure that the other had to be awake even though he did not say anything to him. “Where are you from?” What kind of species are you?” Rina asked.
When the other opened his eyes Rina smiled, leaning closer, interested if Jayden would tell him and start explaining where he was from. “Sorry if I am being forward,” The white haired teen said then. “I would just really like to know..., to be honest I am rather curious.” Rina said truthfully, waiting for the other to reply, remaining silent while biting on the skin of his lower lip.
