Surprise Visit ((KadenxAkira))

[Akira]

"You should have checked your pants," Akira laughed. "Well, it's good I found it before throwing it in the wash, right?" he smiled.

[Kaden]

Kaden sighed and nodded morosely. "Fine... I suppose so.... but it's my lucky lighter. I take it on all my jobs. I'd've been in trouble if I'd been assigned something before I found out you had it," he explained.

[Akira]

Akira bit his lip lightly. "I'm sorry," he said softly. "I really didn't know it was that important. You have a few others, so I thought it was just another extra.... At least you found out before you got another job, right?" he asked, still in the same quiet tone. He wasn't sure if Kaden had started to really get upset by this or not.

[Kaden]

Kaden nodded, wrapping an arm around his mate's waist and kissing his neck. "We should hurry. Tun may have plans for today, and we don't want to miss him...," he adviced happily.

[Akira]

Akira grinned, wrapping an arm around Kaden as well. "Okay," he said. They got to the cafeteria quickly, and went through the line. It was long, but didn't take that long to get through it. Akira had decided on cereal like he said before, and was having Kaden hold it. After looking around a moment he spotted the Zercan he was looking for. He was sitting at a table with a few other guys.

Akira grinned and ran up behind him, wrapping his arms around his shoulders- careful not to burn him with the cigarette. "Good morning Tun!" he said happily.

[Kaden]

Tun jumped, squeaking. He relaxed, though, when he realized that it was Akira. "Bookie! I haven't seen you since like... two days ago! That's a long time! How are you?" he asked excitedly. Kaden raised an eyebrow at them before shaking his head and taking a seat at the table.

[Akira]

"I'm great! How are you?" Akira asked. He sat down in the empty seat next to his friend. He exchanged the cig for the cereal with Kaden, because eating with a cigarette was hard. What if he ate the stick? Gross! He began eating slowly, still not feeling that hungry.

[Kaden]

Kaden grinned, taking the cig and placing it in his mouth as he watched his mate and friend interact.

Tun smiled happily. "I'm great! But... um... well, I'm gonna be busy when we were planning on going shopping tomorrow... Boss gave me an assignment that needed done just then... Can we go today instead?" the Zercan asked, looking guilty.

[Akira]

Akira smiled. "Of course we can! As long as we finish before supper time." He leaned in close to Tun, smiling. "Kaden's treating me to supper," he said softly before pulling back to eat his breakfast.

[Kaden]

Tun raised his eyebrows apraisingly. "Reeaaallly? Where is he taking you?" the Zercan asked incredulously.

[Akira]

Akira shrugged. "I don't know yet," he said, laughing sheepishly. "Do you know of any good restaurants?" he asked.

[Kaden]

Tun thought for a moment before shrugging. "I dunno. I've never really been out to eat here on Jeskara. I just stay here and eat the free food," he said lightly, laughing nervously. Kaden rolled his eyes.

"That's because you can't find anyone that'll pay for you and you never have any money because you buy anything you set your eyes on..."

"Shut up! So?"

[Akira]

Akira gave his friend a one arm hug. "When you find your mate, he will take you out to dinner. I'm sure. And if he doesn't, I'll have to talk to him," he said, smiling lightly.

[Kaden]

Tun smiled and nodded. "Yeah, he better! If he doesn't.... well, considering our line of profession... I'm gonna say he doesn't want to see me angry," he said with a wink, laughing playfully.

[Akira]

Akira laughed. "I agree," he said, grinning. "So anyway... when do you want to go shopping? Hey, if we go early enough maybe we can go out for lunch!" he suggested. "Maybe we can find some small diner or something?"
