It was still pretty early, around 6:00, but Akira couldn't sleep. The last few days he had woken up feeling sick to his stomach. The feeling would go away soon enough, but it still bothered him. He could not figure out what was wrong with him. It could be those pills. Tun had told him about these birth control pills he should try. Well, if that was the case, that those pills were making him feel ill, then he could stand it. It was all in the effort to make Kaden happy after all. And really, he only had to take one once a month so it probably just a small cold or something like that.
Akira looked up at Kaden, who was sleeping peacefully next to him. He kiss his mate's forehead before carefully moving out of his arms. A nice shower sound like a good idea right now. He grabbed some clothes out of the dresser- he had put all Kaden's clothes away and left one drawer for himself because keeping them in a suitcase was ridiculous. It was just a simple yellow t-shirt and a pair of Kaden's old jeans he had stolen.
He walked into the bathroom, rubbing his upset stomach lightly. At least he would feel better soon. It always went away quickly, and especially if he took a warm shower. He shut the bathroom door behind him and stripped after turning on the shower. Then he stepped in, ready for a warm, relaxing morning shower.

Kaden woke slowly, moving to wrap his arms around Akira, but only succeeded in finding an otherwise empty bed. He frowned before realizing that the shower was running. Sighing softly, the Incubus climbed out of bed and moved towards the bathroom. He didn't bother with knocking, since they were mates, but he did knock on the wall beside the shower. "Hey...," he mumbled sleepily, pushing the shower curtain to the side.

Akira placed his hands on his stomach lightly. He was starting to feel really nausous. It's okay, it gets worse before it goes away, he thought warily. Maybe he was smoking too much. He had been smoking more and more and everyday, sometimes even if he didn't really need to. A brake from the cigs would be a good idea. The boy sighed softly as his stomach started to settle.
At the moment the shower curtain opened and his mate said, "Hey...." The Sensaforian jumped in surprise and had to grab onto the shower curtain to keep himself from falling. "Y-you scared me," he stuttered, still trying to get balanced.

Kaden smiled softly, reaching into the shower to wrap an arm around Akira to keep him from falling over. "Sorry... I didn't mean to...," he mumbled before yawning. "Mind if I join you?"

Akira laughed lightly. "Of course not," he said softly. He rested a hand on Kaden's arm and leaned forward to give him a chaste 'good morning' kiss. "Just remember to take your clothes off first," he said, smiling.

Kaden laughed lightly before pulling out of the shower and shedding his clothes. He climbed into the shower and wrapped his arms around his mate. "Good morning," he said, nuzzling the boy's cheek.

"Morning," Akira answered, smiling lightly. He was happy he no longer felt sick. There was no need to worry Kaden with that. He closed his eyes, content with his mate's nuzzling. When he stopped, Akira cuddled against him. Now that he wasn't feeling nausous, he felt like he could fall asleep.

Kaden had noticed Akira was acting oddly lately. He didn't want to say anything, in case it was just his imagination, but he was beginning to wonder if maybe the boy was sick. The Incubus smiled down at his mate a held him closer, kissing the Sensaforian's forehead. "What do you want to do today.... -night.... whatever...," he mumbled with a yawn.

Akira shrugged. "I don't know," he mumbled. He closed his eyes, relaxing slightly against his mate. He loved it when Kaden held him, he was always so gently and warm.... His body became slightly heavier against the other boy's as started falling asleep. He woke up with a start a minute later, his head hitting Kaden's chin in the process.
"Ow," he muttered, rubbing his head. He glanced up at Kaden worriedly. "Are you okay?" he asked. The boy rubbed his mate's chin lightly. "I'm sorry."

Kaden blinked down curiously when Akira went limp in his arms for a moment. Did he... fall asleep?! Aren't morning showers supposed to wake people up? he thought before jumping backwards when Akira jerked awake. He winced and fingered his pained chin gently. "I'm alright... What about you? You're the one that fell asleep, or whatever... are you feeling alright, Love? Maybe you're getting sick. You should go back to bed...," he mumbled, carressing the boy's head where it had made contact with his jaw.

Akira kissed Kaden's chin lightly. "Hm? No, I'm fine," he said softly. "I guess I just got sleepy because you're sleepy right now. I bet that's it," he laughed lightly. After that really short nap he wasn't tired anymore. It could have something to do with jolting awake and bumping his head on Kaden's jaw, though. "After we're done, can we go down to the cafeteria for breakfast?" he asked softly, getting the soap out. "I want to ask Tun if we're still going shopping tomorrow."

Kaden shrugged and smiled. "Sure. Whatever you want to do... Didn't you go shopping with him just the other day, though...?" he asked, watching Akira get the soap before stealing it from him. "Here, allow me."

Kaden pouted. "You don't take me shopping," he said, pretending to be offened as he started to wash Akira, "Does that mean you dont' want us to bond?"

Akira rolled his eyes. "You don't even like shopping, Teddy Bear." He grinned. "Besides, we bond enough already. In different ways, at least," he laughed quietly.
