Kaden was sitting lazily, not really thinking anything, but rather just letting himself feel Akira held against him and touching his stomach like that... it kinda tickled. He stiffened slightly when he heard that question, it seemed so random... but Kaden could understand why the Sensaforian would ask something like that. Kaden relaxed, moving to wrap an arm around his mate. "I don't know," he answered truthfully, "Doesn't it seem like a big responsibility? Having a bunch of kids?" he asked. He kissed Akira's forehead gently before continuing. "I... I don't think I... I don't want any kids just yet...," he mumbled. That sounded kinda harsh... he thought with a wince before explaining himself. "I want to get away from here... Get a lagitamite home and have a lagit job, too, before we actually have a family like... you know?" he said softly.

Akira nodded, understanding Kaden's point. He didn't think he wanted to have children right away, either. It was really soon, and things were just so new-he was in a new place, around new people-and he was still hiding from his family. Things would be too hard if he was pregnant.
"I agree," he said softly. "If... and I know we probably will... continue doing these kind of... 'activities'," he grinned up at his mate before looking serious again. "...We need to start using protection," he said.

Kaden pouted and whimpered. "Nuuuuuuh! Pleeaaasse nuuuuu! It isn't the same! It's horrible! It's fake! It's.... plastic-y!!!" he cried, burying his face in Akira's shoulder.

Akira looked down at Kaden in surprise. "It's either that or I will get pregnant. I don't think I am ready for that yet, Kaden. And you aren't ready either," he pointed out. "...It can't be that bad, dear," he said hopefully.

Kaden huffed, tilting his head back so he could glare pathetically at Akira. "Trust me... it is... It's weird and awkward and.... ewww....," he whined. "Can't you just... I dunno, tell your stomach not to make any babies for awhile or something?"

Akira raised his eyebrows unbelievingly. "If it means that much to you, I wish I could," he said softly. "But I don't have that kind of control over my body." He sighed quietly at Kaden's looks. "There might be other ways to control it, I'll have to look into it."

Akira kissed Kaden's shoulder lightly. He giggled quietly. "I'm sorry you hate it so much. But until I can find something else... we have to use them, okay?"

Akira rolled his eyes. "Now I know why you don't want kids... you act so much like one that we don't need any," he teased. He leaned over a planted a light kiss on his mate's neck. "Well, I don't feel like being in bed with you when you're throwing a tantrum. Do you have any baggy shirts?" he asked as he stood up to search through Kaden's clothes.

Kaen huffed again. "I'm not acting like a kid! I'm acting like a grown Incubus male that doesn't want to use icky protection just to be with his mate!" he stated firmly, sitting up on the bed and crossing his arms.

Akira grinned when he found a baggy white t-shirt, a pulled it over his head. Then he went to his suitcase and pulled out some red pajama shorts. He looked up at Kaden when he started complaining again. "If you're against condoms that much, then maybe we shouldn't have sex for awhile," he said quietly. He crossed his arms, watching how his mate would react. "How does that sound?"

Akira shook his head. "I didn't say forever, dear," he pointed out. "We've done enough stuff over the last few days to last you for awhile anyway, haven't we?" he asked, tilting his head. Not that he wouldn't want to do anything with his mate, Kaden was really good. But he wanted to find a way to prevent his getting pregnant, so his mate would not have to use condoms. It was just to make the other boy more happy.

Kaden pouted, sighing. He let his head drop dejectedly before nodding slightly. "Yeah.... I guess," he mumbled. He knew what Akira was trying to do; he wanted to help, so Kaden needed to stop being such a selfish ass and just except it. He sighed softly, standing and kissing Akira gently before moving to the closet to get dressed. "What do you want to do now?" he asked, stepping out of the closet as he buttoned up a shirt.
