Manni giggled to see Lakin so out of sorts. "That's Ongi. He's my alarm clock. I was going to go shut him up, but you wouldn't let me go."

"Your...alarm clock?" Lakin asked slowly. "Well... turn him off so..." he yawned widely and ruffled Mann's air sleepily, "... so we can go back to sleep." He took his arms away from the boy reluctantly, but the constant beeping persuaded him to do it. "What time is it anyway?"

Manni crawled reluctantly out of the bed and sauntered over to his desk and picked up his computer, turning it on as he did so. He watched as Ongi appeared on the screen with a yawn and a stretch.
"Heya Boss-man!" the computer exclaimed- way too happy for any time in the morning. "It's 0900 hours and the breakfast bell will be wringing in one hour and forty-five minutes! You want your schedule for today?"
Manni nodded clumsily at the machine while yawning. He hated mornings.
"Well, you have to do a check up and updates with Mesk sometime this afternoon and Barit said he wanted you to come over and play cards with him and the guys after dinner."
"So...I don't have to do anything this morning?" Ongi nodded brightly. "Soo..... I can go back to sleep?" Ongi smirked wicked and looked the frazzled boy up and down.
"Sure, by the looks of 'ya you didn't do much sleeping last night!" Manni blushed as he glared at the AI.
"I hate you."

'0900 hours?' Lakin thought lazily and curled back under the covers. '... What the heck does that mean? They always '0900' and I never even figured out what it means!' He thought angrily but his tired thoughts went elsewhere when he heard the over hyper computer continue talking.
"...Mesk sometime this afternoon and Barit said he wanted you to come over and play cards with him and the guys after dinner."
He vaguely wondered why Barit would want to play cards with Manni. He didn't like that. Manni seeing other men. 'What am I thinking?' he asked himself, muttering under his breathe. He blamed it on the not being a morning person thing.
"Sure, by the looks of 'ya you didn't do much sleeping last night!" he heard Ongi say. Then Manni said, "I hate you."
Lakin bit his lip and blushed. 'That little computer is smart...."
After Manni turned Ongi into sleep mode again he said, "Can we go back to sleep now?"

Manni sighed after setting his AI down on the desk. "I can't believe he woke us up at nine o'clock for no reason," he stated wearily. He crawled back onto the bed next to Lakin then cuddled up next to him, laying his head on his chest.

Manni sighed at the simple touch and nodded his head. "Yup. They use weird time on ships and stuff. I don't like it. It's hard to understand, but you get used to it after awhile." He punctuated his statement with another yawn.

Lakin chuckled when Manni yawned. The boy was so cute. The wizard sighed and stared up at the ceiling, still running his fingers through the other's hair. He couldn't stop thinking about Barit and the others playing cards with Manni. It made him extremely jealous to think that those pilots had spent so much time around the little brunette. He wondered if any of them had ever... been with Manni.
Without relizing it, his fingers had began to pull a little harder on Manni's hair. When he relized what he was doing he stopped immediately and brushed the strands out gently. "Sorry...," he muttered.

Manni winced when his hair was pulled, but relaxed slightly when Lakin appologized and went back to gently smoothing it out again. Manni lifted his head off the other boy and looked worriedly at him, tilting his head slightly in question.
"Are you okay? Is something wrong?"

Lakin stared down at Manni for a moment. Was it really any of his business if the boy was involved with anyone? It was his decision if.... For some reason it hurt to think that Manni would be with some one else. 'Why am I feeling this way?' he asked himself.
"N-nothing wrong," he mumbled. "I was just wondering... are you...I mean have you ever been -involved- with any of the other crew members?" he asked hesitantly.
((Yup, it is.))

Manni's face crinkled in disgust at the question. "EW! That's just gross. I mean, they're all nice and everything, but... that's just weird." Manni thought he saw relief in Lakin's features and he began laugh. "I can't believe.... I mean- who?! Barit? Bleghk. He's more like a seventh brother or something!"

Lakin felt greatly relieved after Manni spoke. So he didn't have to worry about that. He smiled and brought the boy in an awkward hug. "I'm glad to hear that," he said. Then he paused, thinking over his last words. "Did you say -seventh- brother?" he asked curiously.

Manni laughed. "Yeah! I have six brothers: Mauk, Mokei, Muiy, Magti, Muka, Me- Manjit, and my little baby brother Miiio." He stopped to think for a second. "You know. I'm not my own brother... So, I guess Barit is like my sixth brother."

Manni shrugged. "Yeah I guess. It's really funny to hear Miiio say our names. He can't talk very well yet so everything sounds pretty much the same!" Manni laughed a bit then looked over at a clock on his wall that he only then remembered. "You know, we should probably start getting ready to go for breakfast. We still have to find something for you to wear today, if you want."
((I have to go. I have to do my homework -_-* But I'll be back on sooner or later tonight.))
