Crash and Burn (PG-13+)

[Bast]

Bast looked down at Cameron with wide, sad eyes for a moment before they settled into a narrow state. He turned his head away from the boy, unable to look at him so soon after being rejected. It hurt...It really, really hurt...

"Fine," he said, voice coming out so blank that he winced. He wanted to die though...Just wander into Prasidion and let those 'creatures' kill him. He had already started to feel a bond with the young man, but...His heart gave another painful pang.

That part of the Zercan was sad, but another part of him felt...angry and bitter. He just wanted to throw Cameron down on the bed and show him exactly what was what. The youth was his, damn it...And he was the other's. Why did the beautiful young man want to cause him such feelings? Wouldn't he feel them too...?

"I'll find out the times for ships going out. I don't have one of my own and I don't think my brothers do either," he said, rising from the bed and disentangling himself from the other's grip. "I'll only be a bit...And I'm sorry you don't approve of me being your mate and wish to leave."

With that, 'Bastian quickly stepped out of the room and went into the living room. He sat on the couch and pulled out something like a newspaper. Along with it came a little ball of yarn too. Th cat boy stared at it a moment before picking it up and shredding it with his sharp nails. Small, almost silent, sobs of anguish left him as he tore through the yarn in his dispair.

[Cameron]

Cam could just tell that was the worst decision of his life, and his heart ached for him to make it right. He wasn't really the best went it came to intuition and gut feeling, so he was quite shocked that Sebastian was his mate. He thought frantically of what he should do, and put his hands over his face. He should have wanted to be read, to be... loved. His mind searched for something that could make up for his ignorance, his complete and utter stupidity. And then, a small string of thought played in his head, until it became an action rather than an idea.

He quietly stepped into the living room, peeking out from behind a wall. "Sebastian," he said timidly, a small plead in his voice, "I.. I'm sorry. Do you still want me?" Whatever the answer should be, Cam would make sure that it ended up a 'yes'. Behind th wall, he stood fully nude, and he blushed horribly. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but he was just now realising what it could mean. He didn't care, though. He found himself actually wanting things to go farther, and he didn't care just how far they went.

[Bast]

Sebastian's little sobs ceased abruptly and he blinked furiously, trying not to let Cameron see as he heard the other approached. After hearing the other boy's words, he looked up in surprise.

The Zercan could only see Cameron's blushing face, but it still hurt...He turned his head again and looked down. "Of course I still want you. You're all I've ever wanted, but you don't want me, do you? There's...There's no need to apologize," he said, sighing.

The black haired youth chewed on his lip and and pulled apart the ball in his hand a bit more. "And...As much as I don't want to let you go, I won't keep you here against your will. I haven't found the ship times yet," he said, not really knowing what his...mate....wanted from him at the moment.

[Cameron]

Cameron stepped out from behind the wall, blushing even more. He lightly stepped over to Sebastian, standing there for a moment. "I... I didn't really realise that, well, you are you, and I wouldn't listen to my gut feelings or anything. I didn't know that you were my mate," he said, looking down at himself. "Of course I want you - no one in their right mind wouldn't want their mate, but that's not the only reason. I do like you, I made a stupid mistake because I was scared of the conflicting emotions, and now... I think I'm making the right one." He leaned over and pressed his lips to Sebastian's, grabbing the Zercan's hands and placing them on his hips.

[Bast]

Bast's ears shot forward with intrest as he looked at Cameron with wonder. The other was kissing him and..Well, desire welled up inside him as his eyes slipped close and he deepened the kiss.

His nails lightly rubbed against his mate's heated flesh as he pulled the other closer to him. A small groan came from him as he started to stand up, pulling the Humanoid against him. "Bedroom...Bedrooms are good," the Zercan mumured, arms trailing up Cameron's sides even as they tugged him towards the bedroom.

They made it to the bedroom and the black haired boy lightly moved to push his mate agianst the bed, lips attaching to his neck. "You really want me?" he asked breathily for absolute confirmation, even though he could tell of one part of Cameron that really did want him...

"I want to claim you sooo much, to make you mine completely...But you realize that after this, you'll be pregnant...," he said, licking a small spot on the fawn-haired youth's collarbone. He couldn't resist...

[Cameron]

"Yes," he breathed, the one word being his answer to all of the questions, "I want you. And... I'm willing to have a child. My parents are going to be awfully surprised if they hear about this. Sending me away so I could find a job or something, and now... I'm going to be claimed and I'm going to have a child. I'm sure they weren't anticipating that." He laughed, wrapping his arms around Sebastian's neck. Then he looked to the side, pursing his lips slightly. "But I've... never done this. I mean, you can do it with other people before you mate, but no one has ever... sparked my interest, so to speak. So it might be a little... awkward," he smiled defeatedly up at the Zercan, pressing his body to the one above his as best as he could, "Though I have read, eh, romance novels." He chuckled, knowing they were more like smut than romance; he knew how it was supposed to feel, and how it was supposed to go, he just didn't know if he could meet Sebastian's standards.

[Bast]

'Bastian smiled and ran his tongue up from Cameron's collarbone to his ear before ending it with a small kiss on his mate's temple. "I've never been with any one else either," he whispered. "All I want is you...It won't be awkward at all, I'm sure..."

The Zercan pressed back down on the Humanoid, using both his hips and hands. "We're mates, after all...We're perfect for each other and there's always instinct...," he said, moaning a bit. "It will hurt though in places though," he said, bending down to drag his small 'fangs' against his mate's neck gently.

[Cameron]

"Mm," Cameron moaned, taking in every word, but frowning when he said it was going to hurt, "I know it will, because it's plain common sense. I mean... such a large thing inside a tiny hole?" He blushed, looking down, past Sebastian, at his lower regions. He looked back to his mate - ah, it felt good to think of him as that - and pouted. "Strip," he ordered. Really, he was still King Mean, he could order anyone to do anything he desired. He winked and stuck out his tongue, "You can't touch this," he stopped, running his hands down his chest and over his nipples, trailing them all the way down to his thighs, then looked back up at the Zercan with amusement, "Unless you take it all off."

[Bast]

Sebastian pulled back to look at the other boy with a raised eyebrow before moving away and standing up. Keeping his eyes locked on light brown, he began to unzip, unbutton, unbuckle, and undo all the clothing he had one. Everything fell away from him until he was standing bare for his mate to see.

The cat boy's black tail swished anxiously before approaching the bed again. "There...All better," he whispered before the Zercan moved to cover all of Cameron with his own naked body.

<<(Fast forward-ish)>>

Bast lay curled up around Cameron. A grin like a cat who'd got the cream (XD) was on his face as he lightly fingered the imprint his teeth had left in his mate's skin; it telling everyone that this was his mate. "Mmm..." His finger drifted from the Humanoid's neck to his stomach and rubbed the flesh, ignoring the dampness of it. Right there...Their child.

[Cameron]

Cameron turned to look at his mate, a happy smile playing on his lips. "That was," he said, placing his hand over Sebastian's, "one of the most wonderful things I believe I've ever experienced. No - THE most wonderful thing I've ever experienced." And even though his love for the Zercan went unvoiced, it was just that; love. He could just think - if his part of the ship hadn't crashed where it did... he would never have found his mate. Fate could be so kind at times, while at others, very cruel. He thanked the heavens that it had decided to play nice yesterday. And while Cam was claimed and now knew he belonged with Sebastian, he also had something special to look forward to. He was almost giddy at fully acknowledging that he was going to be a parent.

The only problem with that was that he had no job, so that meant no money, which, in turn, meant no clothes or toys or anything. He would have to think on it some more, and try to get work somewhere. He smiled anyway; the feeling just couldn't be ignored! He had a child and a mate, and that was what mattered at the moment. Then he got a spark in his eye, and said, "What will we name him?"

[Bast]

Sebastian glanced up into his mate's eyes and tilted his head, pondering over the question. "Um...I hadn't ever really thought about it before," he said. He continued to absently rub Cameron's belly as he looked over and smiled. "What about you? Have you had any thought about names?" he asked.

His ears twitched in random directions thinking before he added, "I'm sorry...I've never really had time to think about it and I never thought I'd find you, so..."

[Cameron]

"Oh, my friends and I... we could think of a few," he said, smiling slyly, "I've always liked the name Eadoin, though... that's a little girly, so if he turns out to be, well, the dominant one, it wouldn't be so great." He racked his brain, frowning. It seemed that he and his friends had only come up with submissive names. Except, well, some Irish name that Cam had heard when he visited Earth, but it sounded... kind of odd. Then Cameron got an idea. "Diego," he said proudly, beaming, "That's a name for submissive and dominant. And it's a cute name, to boot."

[Bast]

"Diego...," Sebastian said, trying the name out. It did work for both a sub and a dom, didn't it? And it was pretty cute..."I like it. We could call him Di' for short too."

Smiling even wider then before, the Zercan ran his hand over his mate's belly, chuckling. "Hello then, Diego," he greeted softly. Yup, that worked.

[Cameron]

Cameron giggled, squirming. "That's starting to tickle," he half-squealed, playfully batting at Sebastian's hand. "Oooh, I've got to be extra careful not to fall off of the bed anymore," Cam joked, rolling over on top of the Zercan. "How about we go eat breakfast, now, hm?" And then it hit him, what pregnant really meant. "Oh my god, I'm going to be fat!" he sort of dramatically rolled off of his mate, covering his stomach with his hands. "Oh, but that means I get new clothes!"

Whoa. One track mind, Cam, one track mind.

[Bast]

Bast blinked in somewhat confusion. That was kinda abrupt...Hm. He stood and made his way to the other side of the bed. "Well...I can go get our breakfast, after reheating it, of course...and bring it in here. I'm sure you'll probably be a bit...sore," he said, bending to kiss Cameron's temple.

"And...I might be assuming because of your last statement, but...You like shopping?" he asked hesitantly in an almost scared way. One, he really didn't have that much money; and two, his younger brother loved shopping...meaning he always had to carry around giant bags of who-knows-what's around the mall when they were little. He never was one for shopping after that...
