Landmass: 29.2% land, most of the surface is filled with oceans and lakes. This planet is considered to be savage and uncivilized.

Species:
Human-The people of Earth are considered war-like and unpredictable. They are seen by the other planets as self-centered and temperamental – incapable of ruling themselves, thus unsuitable for membership in any interplanetary alliance. The people of Earth come in many body types and shades. They speak many languages and have many cultures. But they are, according to the other planets’ species, unruly and violent. They also don’t believe there are any other planets and are completely self-involved.
Passing Zercans sometimes visit (or get stranded on) Earth and accidentally find their mates. For this reason, and for the fact that it is very difficult for Zercans to find their soul-mates, the Shodan has recently passed an edict allowing regular travel to Earth, provided that the Zercan citizens demonstrate they are fully capable of walking among the earthlings without detection. But, Shodan Sariphan warns, no Zercan should ever be left on Earth forever. The earthlings are to be brought back to Zerca to live out their lives with their mates. Sariphan believes, in part owing to his mate’s own experiences on the planet, that Earth is too hostile and cruel an environment for any creature to endure, and that the earthlings taken by Zercans are being “saved” from a cruel life.
This edict entices other planets to look to Earth for their own mates, though these other species generally prefer a Zercan escort … except for the Jeskarans, who are much too scary to care about Earth’s inhospitable climate.
Other planet life:
Earthlings are carnivorous and eat many of their planet’s animal population. Some really scary earthlings even eat other earthlings - which makes the people of most of the other planets ill … except for the Jeskarans, but we already know why. There are many plants and vegetation on Earth as well.
