Okay, so we have a thread that talks about what to do when your partner ditches you....
But what about people that never had a partner to begin with? There are some people (myself included) that have had a thread marked "open thread" for... a very long time, and no one has replied. Is there anyway that we can better advertise our lonely threads?

In what way? I mean, we could PM people, but when I ask someone, I always feel like I'm guilting them into RPing with me, and that's no fun for them.

I'm not sure, but just coming out and asking someone might be the best way.

I've been on and off and back on the site with a seme and a uke. I'm still open.
Anton Arkady is extremely dominant but rather selective I fear. I will consider any offers and will fully explain why I turn down someone. I won't just say, "No." I really want to start a story but have heard from only one person.
Easy Tanner is a uke but with a lot of spirit. I have his thread marked as an open one. I heard from someone, but she may have changed her mind.
Maybe we need to use this thread as an "auction" place for our characters. If you see someone interesting, you could PM the person or just post it here. We could start checking in--unless there's already an out of character thread somewhere that I haven't found.
If I don't find anyone, I might just get discouraged enough to wipe out my profiles and story again.
I've tried a number messages but received few responses--yes or no. A couple of people informed me that their characters have mates now, yet this wasn't noted in the profiles. It might be wise to update that on your profile if your character has found a mate.
I'm willing to consider any semes or ukes. Hey, if the right boy came along, perhaps Cat would find out that he does have it in him to be dominant. It would take the right chemistry though.
Why don't we try opening up the lines of communications here? PM me pleeeeease! You just might find a match! Take a chance! I've been turned down MANY times already but am willing to keep trying.
What happened with a possible Rae and Cat? Just curious...

That's a good idea! ^_^ *teehee* Auction... Sounds shibby!
>.> *taps chin* well...
I asked my friend to rp with me for this character @_@ But knowing me I'll have another one coming soon that will be lonely, and then I'll be in need of this thread again. I hope this works... ^_^;

I'm still waiting for some results! I've been turned down so many times that I'm ready to pull my profiles a second time! People need to update profiles to let people know their characters are mated! Don't make us waste time hoping and waiting, only to tell us, "Oh. Sorry. He has someone now." Mark that in your profile! Honestly, this is getting aggravating. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I had high hopes for this site because it's so well-run. But, characters shouldn't have to stand around for months waiting for someone, should they? I've been actively seeking partners and have received only one promising lead though I'm still waiting for that. Easy "Cat" Tanner and Anton Arkady have proven themselves in snail mail stories, but here, they've been completely ignored. I might give it till the end of the month before pulling the profiles yet again. I am a fast poster and have been told I write wonderful scenes. I had hopes I could take part in this community, especially being an avid M/M fancier since before most of you were born. *SIGH* Forgive the moaning and groaning. Or, maybe I'm voicing what other people feel. I promise you that, as soon as my guys are linked up, I will note that they have mates in their profiles. That's a vow! Hmmmm... Anybody's character(s) want to meet either of them just to see if they'd hit it off? I can't believe that first time is instant mating. Is that true? If so, would there be so many stopped stories? I welcome feedback! Feel free to PM me at cynsemele@yahoo.com If you want to read what regular Cat is like, check out the story forum at www.phantoms-opera.com Hey! We could use some gay/bi guys there! Check it out! Of course, it's PG rated, so it's not as hot as it could be. LOL!

I just realized you're all shy! None of you are willing to PM someone and if you do, you give up easily. >.< Don't give up so easily!

No they wouldn't! Besides, most of the people here are nice and I know like half of them.

._. I don't like sending PMs to people I don't know, though. Makes me feel rude, for some reason.
