Everyone who wants to keep this site up, post a reply on this thread! The site is getting shut down due to lack of activity, so if we all say we want it to stay, and create activity, they'll have to keep the site up, right?

Hello,
I read somewhere that a vote was being donw to keep the Zerca RPG site alive. Though, due to family matters(my father ending up in the hospital and passing away), I have not been on lately, I would be very sad to find the site closed. I am a writer, and I always find myself coming on when I have a block. It has always helped me to regain inspiration.

Yes! I want this site to survive! Sadly, I haven't been in contact with my writing partner for a very long time, so I'm not sure if we could continue our stories. But, I'd definitely be willing to try new stories if it would help Zerca survive.
Please please pleeeease do not shut down this remarkable, unusual and intriguing site!

The community here is a rare one and I personally enjoy all the people I've found here. If this were to all disappear... I would lose many friends... And I like my friends...

It says that it combined my accounts, so I don't know who I'm supposed to be. When I wrote with Easy Tanner, I was cynsemele; when I wrote with Anton Arkady, I was~well~antonarkady. I admit that I am in a state of confusion. Though, thanks to fibromyalgia, that's about average. I was here to create new characters when it looked like the site was going to disappear. I was trying to link up, then I had troubles with my computer/Net connection and severe health problems, including difficulty using my arms and hands.
How frustrating! I was hoping to reconnect on my Easy and Anton stories, but I'm not sure my writing partner is around the site anymore. I have to look at my new characters to remind myself about circumstances.
Has it been at all active here? Nouvelle Orleans is deserted, and The Phantom's Opera is close to that, which is incredibly sad. So, I wonder if I can get back into the swing of things, as old-timers like me used to say. Yes, I'm an oldster, but I'd love to get back into RPing. Maybe it will help me get used to this new computer. The motherboard on my other went out on me. Imagine my panic when I tried to recall the sites I used to have on my Favorites list! Some I might never find again. I even had links to my Easy/Anton stories, which I wonder if I can find again.
Now, I'll go look around. Ooh! I just now found myself above as cynsemele! Whew!

I was hoping to get by fairly often, then my laptop "bit the dust". I've been trying to get used to this new one, but it's so different and remains awkward for me. I wasn't sure how I'd do on RPing till I got used to it. Frankly, when I visited, with all the changes, I'm lost! I don't know if I can access my two stories I had going or if my writing partner is still here. So much went wrong for me, computerwise, connectionwise and healthwise. I feel like I've been away for so long.
When I visited not long before my laptop conked out, I think I might have created a couple more characters and heard from interested partners. I don't know how long ago that's been. To be honest, my eyesight is so bad now that it's hard for me to do much reading here. I often have to highlight to see a bit more clearly.
So, I'm interested in keeping Zerca going. I hate being a member who can't be absolutely dependable. I imagine others have problems, too: school, work, life in general. For me, it's mainly my health (chronic illnesses) and dwindling eyesight. I would like to help.
EDIT: Oh! It hasn't been a very long time ago: mid-February. Before that is a long stretch. If I can refamiliarize myself, I will. I certainly would love to continue the two old stories and to start new ones. It would definitely have to be in the PG13 category because I suppose that I'm a lot older than the average member. I know I must careful about writing so that I don't seem like some weird stranger. I knew my previous writing partner from another site~The Phantom's Opera~so that helped. I can write "racier" if I know the other person writing is not really young.
Now, I think I'll try some looking around to see how lost I really am!
EDIT: I'm familiarizing myself with the place again by bookmarking the profiles of my four characters and the two stories I had underway. However, with so many changes, I despair of connecting with my friend and fellow RPer; we first met at The Phantom's Opera, but Pyromaniac is no longer there. Here, one name was "Night" I think; I'd have to check on the other. I don't know if Pyro ever visits TPO, so maybe I lost a wonderful writing partner and very sweet person.
Hello! Pyro, are you out there? I thought we were going to get to continue the stories of our two couples ~ Anton & Iah and Easy & Saphrine; but so much happened to derail our plans! If I write this large, not only can I see but also you might notice.
I had plans to match my dragon with a merman. I haven't forgotten. I'll try to contact that person, too.
I have to explain that I have problems with my short- and long-term memory and general brain functioning mainly due to Fibromyalgia. I want to return to the fold, so to speak. I'm going to try very hard to find my way around.
