Stranded With Little Mer... Man?

It is cold so Alan nods, "A fire would be nice."

Niki nodded and he changed back into into a mermaid before jumping into the water. He hurried and got some wood then headed back to the island. "Got some..."

In the time he was gone Alan had began searching for some form of shelter or something to build one with. He hadn't come up with much.

Niki watched him, "I can get more wood to build a shelter if you need it."

[mesmu]

Alan freezes before looking back and shaking his head, "I'll just work with the trees and brush and stuff." He really wished that the... he won't even think it... had been in his head... But here it is again. "Maybe... I just need sleep."

Niki nodded then used a rope from the ship along with some leaves to create a skirt. "Then sleep..."

"In the middle of a storm? On an island with no other life besides us?" He shakes his head, he may not believe... that factor... but something does strike him as fearful. "What if you try to eat me while I do?"

Niki rolled his eyes, "I only eat fish and vegetables," he informed him softly.

"That's what they say before you wake up the next morning being roasted," Alan mutters but goes under the minimal protection of the trees. "Guess could be worse."

Niki sighed then looked out to the ocean letting it calm him.

making himself comfortable on the sand, Alan curls up, sighing to himself, sure he won't be able to sleep regardless... He hopes the captain made it home alright.

Niki waited till the other was asleep before falling to sleep.

The next morning Alan woke tot he sound of gulls and the sun half beating down on him. He also found himself feeling as cold as ice, shivers running through his body. As he looks for something warm he spots Niki and then shouts out in surprise...

"Okay... Last night was NOT a dream."
